If you live anywhere near the state of Alabama, you're probably already aware of what you'll find in Tuscaloosa: the University of Alabama (Roll, Tide!). As the oldest and largest university in the state, UA was founded in 1820. It is a top-ranking public research university and it has one of the winningest college football programs in US history.
