Huge bedrooms, covered parking, washer/dryer in unit, heat paid, immaculate, quiet, credit scores 700 and higher, no smoking, no pets, two people max. There are so many nice things to say about this unit. It really must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. It’s large – 1100 sq ft. This recently remodeled, 2BR, 1BA, upstairs apartment has a large kitchen with an island and separate pantry, a dining area, and a gas fireplace in the living room. Refrigerator an ice maker. All cabinetry has self-closing doors and drawers. Even the toilet seat self-closes! There is a USB plug-in in the kitchen for easy charging. Washer and dryer in the unit. Built-in bookshelves. The rooms are large, the master bedroom measuring 16 ft. x 14 ft. can easily accommodate a king-sized bed. The second bedroom is larger than most other master bedrooms and can accommodate a king-sized bed and night stands as well. Tons of closet space. The balcony is large, overlooks the yard and has an additional storage closet. Professionally monitored to assure no bed bug infestation that has infected so many residences city-wide. The theme here is clean and quiet and it is enforced. So, if you are looking for a nice, very clean, quiet place to live, this is it! The foyer is secured by key entry only. The carport provides additional secured storage (great for tires, bikes, skis, gear, etc.) and a heater plug-in for your car, which is activated by a switch inside the apartment. No need to go outside on cold mornings to plug in your block heater. Situated on a dead-end, residential street, the Mid-town neighborhood is in a good area of town, quiet, and centrally located near everything. Only minutes away from downtown and Elmendorf AFB, Providence and Alaska Regional Hospitals, UAA, or out-of-town north or south. Seven minutes from the airport, with none of the runway noise. On a major bus route with direct access to downtown city center to the north or Dimond Mall to the south, where the transfer stations take you anywhere system-wide. Within walking distance (under a mile) to the following restaurants: Asia cuisine, Cattle Company, TGI Friday's, Applebee's, Golden Corral, Taco del Mar, Sushi Spot, Starbuck's, Sea Galley, and Peppermill. Dairy Queen, IHOP, the Post Office, Loussac Library, and an outdoors ice skating rink are about a mile away. Century 16 Theater complex, WalMart, and Barnes and Noble are about a mile and a half away. REI, Beartooth Theater and the mid-town stores are all within three miles, as are numerous banks and businesses. There is a city park with tennis courts across the street. The grounds are landscaped with mature trees, beautiful gardens and inviting lawn furniture that encourages you to enjoy the yard. This yard area is not covered in asphalt! Up to two people per unit at $1800 per month. The security deposit is $1700. Rent includes all utilities except electricity for lights and appliances.
