Overall very positive. Occasional bumps which are to be expected in life. Being elderly I do not participate in most community events. I do feel safe living here.
Apartments are amazing, the area is incredible, maintenance is on top of it, leasing staff is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. There’s really nothing to complain about!
7166 used to be really nice but over the last year it has gone waaay downhill due to severe lack of maintenance.

I’ve been here 2 years and the staff is great, friendly and professional. I haven’t had any issues with any other tenants and whenever a problem arises in my apartment, maintenance makes sure it gets taken care of asap
Everyone at the leasing office was very nice and made move-in so easy. There were a few hiccups but they were taken care of immediately. My first week has been worry free and comforting.

Facility services has always been excellent resolving issues and staff has been very courteous. Haven’t had any issues with other residents No Noise complaints or parking issues.
Lived here for a few years and have watched as the leasing office has grown and changed for the better. While I've run into issues in the past, I'm much more confident that these folks are taking care of things. The complex is fairly nice for the prices and has become more safe than it used to be. We like it here and aren't in a rush to leave!
Very good I enjoy my time here nothing to complain about walls are noise resistant pools right in my back yard. parking could be a little easier. And there’s a lot within walking distance

Everything has been very straightforward and easy regarding the move in process. Julius has been extremely helpful. Everything seems well kept and orderly regarding the complex.
The service from the staff here has been great so far. They have been friendly responsive and helpful. And the amenities are much appreciated. The location in the Belmar neighborhood is super convenient.
Possibly the most responsive, professional maintenance staff I have ever encountered. Management is very clear with communication and giving sufficient "heads-up" for any announcements.

The rental process was quick and efficient. I was able to see the exact apartments that were for rent. The staff have been great! I’ve had a few minor maintenance needs which were handled within hours of me requesting it. The building is clean and quiet. Definitely feels like home.

Clean and well kept appointment homes. The staff is friendly and they tend to any issues or concerns that come up quickly. The maintenance guys are friendly as well and get things fixed in no time. Overall the neighbors for the most part are quiet and everyone is friendly around. Good place to live, plus walking distance to Belmar is a definite plus.

I hate that there is only one elevator in the entire building. And I happen to be the furthest away. Too often problems with pool or hot tub and it should stay open thru all of September

It’s a great place to live. Beautiful area and beautiful apartments. The staff does a really good job making you feel welcomed the first time you walk in to the office. The amenities are kept clean and running. Parking is easy and accessible and the community is very safe. Would recommend living here to anyone looking.

Drug users in the neighborhood break into and vandalize cars on a regular basis. They even vandalized an employee’s car and management still does nothing. No visible security, no cameras - nothing is done to protect renters or their property. This neighborhood is taking a turn for the worse and 7166 at Belmar doesn’t care. If you want to be safe, this is NOT the place you want to live.

We share your concern about the recent rise in crime. The Lakewood Police say our neighborhood has been hit especially hard. I would seriously skip this community. The rent is just to high to be justified, especially when there are so many new/newish communities in Lakewood that are so much more updated and maintained for less than you spend here. It's just not a good value. If the rents are so because of being located in 'Belmar', well forget it! This area has gone downhill fast. Lots of petty crime (cars being broke into in the parking garage, vandalism inside the buildings). Constant obnoxious car muffler noise. Yeah, this area really sucks now.
7166 is an excellent apartment building and complex. I would highly recommend. Very clean, nice people, parking garage and more!

Decent place to live. Some ok renovations done recently in the building. But this place really needs better security in the garage. My car and many other residents here have had their cars broken into while parked in the garage, or things stolen from their car. And their security Oculus does NOT do anything to improve the security here. I called the police and made a report and they told me that our garage has had many thefts reported recently. Not ok! The security hired to patrol the garage here does not do their job at all! I never see them patrolling the garage at night or early mornings when most thefts occur. I have seen the security guy here asleep in his car when he should have been protecting the garage. Unacceptable! This place needs a better security system here in the garage, considering how much is paid in rent here. They could also do a better job of cleaning inside and outside of the building. I see way too much trash and debris left around on the floors and not picked up. Needs improvement.

Our unit is spacious and decently well maintained. Majority cleaned on arrival and the leasing agents and maintenance staff are very helpful. The area is lovely.

7166 at Belmar is a beautiful property with awesome floor plans and in the best location! We love the urban feeling of Bel Mar without the chaos of actually living downtown. Everyone is so friendly and the ammenities are awesome. I love having covered parking!

I have bee living at 7166 Belmar for 5 years and it really has been a great experience. I enjoy all of the amenities that 7166 at Belmar has to offer. The staff and maintenance crew is very nice and professional.

Love the upgrades Greystar has done so far. The best part of 7166 is the maintenance team and the office folks (location is up there also)

Be very aware of the additional fees for services that you do not need/do not want. Aka valet trash is extremely restrictive. Unless you have a family of three, you do not need it, but you still have to pay for it. Fetch costs $240 per year, but so far, it has only increased package delivery time, Ive had to walk over at least 3 deliveries to our A building because of mis-deliveries. Their customer service is unhelpful and has not been satisfactory and unwilling or able to help. Often times, Ill receive a package delivery notification from, for example, Amazon at noon, and will not receive a notification from Fetch until going on 5 or 6. Delivery wont occur until the following day. Anyway, just be aware that you will be paying the better part of $400 per year for services that you dont need or want and actually make your life more difficult.

Having just moved in; my experience has been great thus far. The maintenance team has been highly responsive, the leasing agent very helpful, and the residents very kind. The unit itself is beautiful and the location couldn't be better.
