Located about an hour’s drive northeast of New York City, Stamford’s downtown area provides residents with shopping, entertainment, and dining on a much smaller, more intimate scale than the Big Apple. As the heart of Stamford, Downtown Stamford is packed with trendy restaurants, theaters, bars, and live music venues. Downtown also remains lively with multiple events held here throughout the year including Stamford Downtown Farmers Markets, Arts & Crafts on Bedford, and Art Collective. If locals aren’t exploring local businesses, you might find them at a nearby greenspace like Mill River Park and there are several beaches just three miles away. The neighborhood is similar to other city centers. Downtown Stamford features luxury lofts and apartments available for rent, but there are also houses and townhomes available at moderately priced rates.

Property Ratings at 75 Tresser Blvd Apartments
I have lived here now for 4.5 years and I can say 75 Tresser is an amazing place to live. It has so many great amenities and it is close walking distance to downtown and the waterfront. But what really sets 75 Tresser apart from the competition is their maintenance team. In the few times that I needed something repaired or an appliance replaced Mike is always on the job. Mike is professional and very skilled to repair any issue I have had. I am sure all of the repair people who work at 75 Tresser are great but Mike is outstanding and he gets the job done every time!

Awww, thanks friend! We really appreciate your kind words about 75 Tresser!
Moved in a few months ago, great environment and amenities, as well as fun community events. Shout out to Michael, who helped with our maintenance issue and was super friendly and courteous!

You're the best! We really appreciate the positive review. We will let Michael know of your kind words.
This building has had multiple management changes, and it has progressively gotten worse. Management is incompetent and cannot grasp simple concepts. The walls are thin, and you can hear everything from the tenants' arguing downstairs to the tenants on top of you running a marathon. The 'freshly painted' walls are scuffed, and the carpet is stained. There are dogs that crap in the hallway, and it is not cleaned up. This a glorified UCONN dorm. Unless you are a 21-year-old who is looking for a party environment this is not the place for you. There are mice in the building as well. You will see mice traps mainly on the 2nd floor. This apartment is far from luxury. Save your money and choose one of the other newer and nicer apartments in Stamford.

Hi - I'm so sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations (or our standards), and one of us will get in touch directly to see what we can do to make it right. Can you please contact the office so we can go over your concerns and make them right? 203-349-2253. We would welcome the chance to make it right.
If anyone lives above you there will be a tremendous amount of noise. All hours early mornings forget about it. You won't get your proper rest! It's so bad! Management does nothing.

Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. Please contact the leasing office so that we can get further information.
Lives here for under a year and looking forward to leaving. The doors leading in to the building from the street rarely lock. We have been trying for weeks to set up an appointment to speak with office manager and they will not return calls. There is also black stuff that comes out of the shower, sink, and washing machine that ends up on your clothing and in your water. There are much better and safer locations to live downtown but this is not one of them.
We have been living in the complex for almost a year, and loved it at first. The location and size of the apartments is perfect! However, the issues definitely started to show throughout the year. The condition of the furniture and appliances in the courtyards is not in great shape, and the hallways & garbage rooms don’t get much upkeep. If you plan on using the pool, don’t get too excited as it is way too small for the size of the building and it’s almost impossible to get a seat especially on weekends when people bring their entire friends and families. There is no system in place for dry cleaning drop off and pick up, as you have to do it through the leasing office and hope that someone is there when you need it. Our dry cleaning also went missing a couple of times, and took multiple trips and calls to figure out that it’s indeed somewhere in their office but couldn’t be located somehow. Their maintenance team is the best though; very quick and helpful every time. Although, we did have some kind of water damage in the ceiling of our bedroom, but decided not to have it painted now and be smelling the toxins, as we plan to move out soon anyways. elevators are constantly out of order, especially the one near the package room, which is the worst. Be aware that their elevators are constantly out of order, especially the one near package room, which is the worst surprise every time…And of course there was also a full on power outage of the building 4 days ago, and the building was pitch black; a lot of our food spoiled and it was terrifying walking those black staircases and hallways. There was not a soul there, and surprised that management team or any security was not present to assist. They had to leave all building doors unlocked which was even scarier as there was theft in the garage a few times….The elevators are still not working, so we had to drag our groceries up with multiple trips, and my bf has a sports injury. All of that with zero update on when it will be repaired. So not the kind of experience we want to be paying the money for…

The water SMELLS & TASTES of mold. We knew the water tasted funny & got a Brita filter pitcher the 1st week here. Then we saw our filter had green scum on the bottom. We tried other filter systems then switched to bottled water. The water still tasted weird. Soon we saw black particles in our ICE. The maintenance crew in this building is VERY good. Thank god because the building is crap & the appliances are worse. The freezer ice maker was so corroded by this gunk it was replaced. The problem persisted; WE had to buy a filter unit for the water hose to the icemaker. The maintenance guys installed it. Soon after, we noticed the DW is filled w/ black mold. The water never heats, never drains, the soap never fully comes out of the dispenser (we have tried liquid and powdered soaps). The dishes also never dry – both a problem w/ the heater and the water doesn’t drain properly because big pools of water are still in the bottom of the DW after every run. We also noticed black flakes on our clothes. We called maintenance & were given bottles of a wash to remove this black gunk from the appliances – that ridded the clothes washer of black flakes (though the clothes never really come clean; again, the water never heats properly) but not the DW where the mold just grew worse. The DW was finally replaced after months of complaining – they refused to swap for one in an empty apt, which made me think they all have the same issue but even the new one never fully drains, doesn’t dry the dishes & doesn’t dispense the dish detergent. I imagine this one will develop mold soon too. One day the water started squirting out of the bathroom sink faucet at weird angles. I thought a new washer was necessary. No. It was the same disgusting black slime that presented as flakes in the ice and clothes washer & mold in the dishwasher – it clogs all the water faucets, gunks up the toilet, & even the tub faucet! So huge, wide, more water force than the other faucets, but still the black slime appears The pool wasn’t cleaned ONCE. Not ONCE over the summer. The mold was in the corners, at the stairs. Under the railings. There was constant oil scum on the surface from sweat, sun blocks and tanners and a grey film all over the blue accent tiles. You know how most pools have too much chlorine smell? Not ours. It has a smell too it and it isn’t pleasant. It definitely is NOT chlorine. Swim at your own risk.

Dear Resident, thank you for your review and feedback. We value the well-being of our residents and we're sorry that despite our diligent efforts to support you, we did not meet your expectations. We take your concerns very seriously and would like to take the proper steps to make sure you feel comfortable in your home. Please contact our office at 75tresser@waterton.com so we can make things right. We hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, The 75 Tresser Management Team
75 Tresser used to be a nice place. We lived there for almost three years. Here is our recent experience; 1) Our washing machine put oil stains on our clothes and we had to request that it be fixed five times. 2) The elevators and trash rooms are frequently closed. 3) Mouse traps in the hallway. 4) Much of the workout equipment doesn't work - and the TVs frequently don't work correctly. 5) There are monitors to show when a package arrives, but they never seem to be updated correctly. 6) Our apartment on the 5th floor was extremely loud when other units air conditioning would run (vibration through the ceiling) 7) Lots of marijuana, pet, and other odors in the hallway 8) Quoted one cost for a lease break - and the charged $2400 more (don't trust the office) 9) Nothing being fixed in a timely manner 10) It appears some UCONN students have moved in as dorm overflow It pretends to be luxury/upscale, but that is not the experience. I would recommend looking elsewhere

Thank you for taking the time to share your review but we are disappointed to hear that your experience has been not up to our standards. We are excited about upcoming improvements for package acceptance with our new Luxer One Package Room system opening this November! This will not only eliminate software issues, but will allow 24/7 access to packages. Though there were preemptive and misleading publications regarding housing for UConn students, a rental agreement did not take place at our community. Anyone approved through our qualification process is welcome. We value your feedback as it is never our intent to disappoint. We're open to suggestions on how to improve our operations and would love to hear from you if you would like to contact us directly. Thank you! - Your 75 Tresser Team
I love this community, it is very quiet and nice. The amenities are fantastic! Key things I look for in an apartment: - Great maintenance - Good Community - Valuable amenities 75 Tresser hits them all!!

Dear Resident, Thank you for the feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your home at 75 Tresser and the great amenities that come along with living here. Great parking and excellent location are just a few of the wonderful aspects at the community. Please let us know if there's anything you need. We appreciate your residency. Warm regards, 75 Tresser Management
I really like this building. 75 Tresser probably has one of the nicest gyms I've ever seen in an apartment complex. I was worried at first that I would feel really cramped in a studio here but it is actually quite spacious. The bathroom is a great size and there is a full size washer and dryer in the unit. There are also two nice sized closests. The downside to the apartment is that mines is brand new but already on the first day I moved in here I noticed major cracks in the wall and in the grout in my shower. I pointed that out the the leasing agent but nobody has ever come to try and fix that. Maintenance has been pretty good though about fixing the more necessary things in my apartment. All in all, it's a really nice place and a very convenient location near downtown and the train station. I definitely recommend 75 Tresser.
