Property Ratings at 779 Northbrook
great place to stay & they’re updated they also come with the best neighbors
Northbrook is by far the best apartment that I have ever stayed. I love the new up to date appliances in the apartment. I also love the hardwood floors and mable cornertops. I also love the washer and dryers that they have in the units. The people in the office are so professional I just adore all 3 of them. If you are looking for something that is nice and want your children to grow up in a nice area Northbrook is the place to go. I will give them 5 stars any day
DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! These apartments are full of mold and bugs. I wouldn't recommend these apartments to my worst enemy. They're in the middle of "renovations" which consist of painting the walls and adding new kitchen appliances and are now trying to charge wayyyyyyy more than what these apartments are worth. Newsflash these are income restricted apartments and were considered the easiest ones to get into. That's the only reason they have tenants at this point and now they're posting these same bug infested apartments on here for way more than what they're worth. Every week it's something wrong with these apartments. Nobody will move in for the prices they think they're about to rent these apartments for. The trash is ALWAYS all over the parking lot. I moved in 3 months ago and it has been the worst experience of my life. The same weekend I moved in my air conditioner went out. Save yourself the headache, there are nicer up to date BUG & MOLD free apartments in the area.

Northbrook only cares about money. The apartments are in ad shape. Management doesn't address your concerns. For two years my upstairs neighbors makes loud banging noises, and it doesn't matter if it's day or night. My child and I have no peace here. I wouldn't wish a downstairs apartment on my worst enemy. No one should have to suffer the way I have. I wish Management could experience that gut wrenching noise like I have had to endure. I am tired of begging for help. I am looking everyday for a new place to live. God does not like ugly. Soon my suffering will end when I move somewhere else.
They don't want to fix anything in the people in the office have the worst attitude ever I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here is a waste of money trust me I no....??
I have been living here for Apt 6 years it was fine at first but they never want to fix anything.
I am a current tenant at Northbrook apartments but I wouldn't recommend them to someone who is looking for a top quality apartment to live in. I moved in almost a year ago, and maintenance only visited once to fix what I put on my inventory form and I haven't seen them since unless they are walking picking up paper or pouring cups of chlorine in the pool. I have a broken towel rack, never had a toilet tissue holder, my tub is molded ALL the way around (which I bleach to keep from getting me and my family sick), my closet doors was broken when I moved in and they are just laying against the wall, and I have seen roaches and pest control only sprayed once since I've lived here. I don't know how many times staff has changed since I have been here, but only one lady is nice and helps out when it comes to paying rent. These apartments could use some MAJOR updating. They are fine to live in for temporary purposes but I wouldn't make this my permanent living space. I agree that they are somewhat affordable although I wish they had w/d hook ups. I don't HATE them, I just feel like management only helps when you beg them to do so. I honestly thought about renewing when my lease comes up, but I have changed my mind.
This would be a decent apartment just for a temporary stay. Its located in a very convenient place. Every place you need to go in right in this area.
