Tree-filled, historic, and packed with educational opportunity, there's no other neighborhood quite like Fenway. The neighborhood may be most well-known for its titular attraction, Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. However, the area is also renowned for its sprawling greenspace. The name "Fenway" refers to the neighborhood’s lush parkway and tree-filled paths that wind lazily through the area, forming part of Frederick Law Olmsted’s “Emerald Necklace Plan” (a chain of parks throughout Boston). The Fenway opened in 1876, and its route includes the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Steward Gardner Museum.

Property Ratings at 78-108 Gainsborough St
Gainsborough Street is a very unique street right in the heart of the Northeastern/Fenway area. It a 5 minute walk from the Prudential Center, and is near great restaurants/takeout, the post office, a CVS, Whole Foods, and some local bars. The entire street is run by the same management office, located only down the street. The staff is very friendly. All packages are sent to the office to ensure packages are properly delivered. The entire street has 24 hour/7 day a week security, as well as private trash pick up everyday. This keeps the street very clean, and the lessens the chance of mice (which I've never seen or heard of in the building). The building is well-maintained and the interior of the building was recently painted. Utilities are not included. The pro is that you can control the heat and AC, but the con is the extra cost associated with central air system. There are washers and dryers in the building. The price is reasonable for the location. The building is mostly quiet, but must keep in mind the proximity to Northeastern and other surrounding colleges. Overall, an amazing place to live. The street is also decorated with Christmas lights on the trees during the winter as an extra bonus!
