Property Ratings at 78 West Apartments
The units themselves are fine; however, management is unresponsive to emails. You won't get a prompt answer (if you get one at all)! Also what the other review stated is true. For some reason the owners of the building decided to fill up 2 floors with residents and then commence a construction project on the bottom level more than 2 years after people started to live here which is incredibly inconvenient for anyone that works from home or stays home with young children in the daytime. Parking is also not enforced, no window permits are issued either; the tow signs are just for show, so good luck is someone else takes your parking spot. We love the location so that's what keeps us here despite the negatives, the community is very walkable and we prefer TUSD over LAUSD for schools.
This apartment is currently under construction and you will have to deal with constant jackhammering, drilling, hammering noise for 8 hours per day NONSTOP. The management did not warn us of this info before signing the lease and has been ignorant of the extreme disturbance we have to deal with 8hrs 5 days a week. I would definitely not recommend moving here.
