Roach infested. Dirty all over. Smells like weed. Trash always overflowing. No Parking. Cars keep getting broke into. Front office is clueless about anything going on. Dog crap all over the place. Gates are always broken. Don't waste your time.

1. INFESTATION: gnat infestation, 100s of bugs a day. Everywhere in every room! 2. SECURITY: high crime area, break ins common. We were Low priority as it is high crime area. 3. MAINTENANCE: A/C unit was screeching so loud you can’t hear yourself talk. It was “fixed” by maintenance by placing a large rock on the top grate of the A/c to minimize the rattling. Management said other tenants have bigger issues than a screeching A/c unit right outside my window. 4. Move out: We professionally cleaned prior to move out. Weeks later after move out we got called about added cleaning fees.

However, I'm happy to say that the current residents, who live in your previous unit, are in a newly renovated home and are not experiencing any issues. They don't care about the tenants. The quality has constantly been going down. The fire alarms are incessant, always going. They only enforce some of the rules and they let two or three families live in the 3 bedroom apartments. The pool is always crowded with a ton of kids who are not supervised and the mail room has one boarded entrance. They have not redone the landscape since the freeze and there is litter everywhere. One of the garages is falling apart and constantly creaks. BEWARE.

I would suggest trying to look at one of the other apartments near by! This apartment is dirty, can feel unsafe oftentimes, has bad management, and has gone downhill significantly in the two years I have lived here. The inside of the apartments themselves are nice and well priced but it’s almost not worth all of the other bad things that come with it. I would just be careful and really research other options before living here!
I lived there 5 years. Started out just fine - went down hill slowly as ownership changed twice. So if you like hearing your upstairs neighbors walk, loud parties that last way past midnight, the smell of weed everywhere, your packages disappearing from the mail room and overall general filth, this is your place. It was not always like this and maybe it will improve, but I definitely would not recommend this property.

5 star for location, amenities, property maintenance, and size of the apartment. 4 star for maintenance request response. 3 star for parking availability close to your apartment. 2 star for pet friendliness. Lack of proper grass area. 1 star for staff honesty and security. Multiple burglaries and theft reported. 0 star for lying to us when we signed the lease. We were told we could discontinue washer dryer at any time. We planned to buy one during black friday sale and we did. We asked the property to remove the one we rented from them and they did. We set up our new appliance but we kept getting billed for the rental one. When asked why, manager says they cannot remove the charges since it is in the contract. What a lie!! So they are taking monthly charges even though we are not renting the appliance anymore. What a lack of customer service and integrity. At the end of the day i am not any poorer and they are not any richer with the $40 a month. Suggestion: dont believe what the staff tells you unless written on the lease. (P.s. They sent several addendum to the lease and somehow that detail slipped through).

Where to begin? With every apartment complex and/or building, there are pros and cons. 7900 at Park Central is no exception. Overall, I am satisfied with my living situation, but I would not say thrilled and/or overjoyed. PROS: For one, the apartments are spacious and management has a made a conscientious effort in updating the entire complex. For example, units have wood floors (in some units), granite-resembling countertops (not sure if they're real or not), stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer units, Juliet balconies, fireplaces (in some units) and crown molding. As far as the entire apartment complex, 7900 at Park Central can pride itself on a well maintained common area, helpful/efficient staff, a quaint gym space, state of the art pool, and dog grooming station (to name a few things). On top of everything, these apartments are rather affordable. This is the perfect building if you do not mind having to drive to the cooler Dallas areas, which leads me to the cons. CONS: My biggest qualm with this complex is that it is a little drive from Uptown and/or Lower Greenville (10-15 minutes). This place could be perfect for older individuals, families, and/or people who seldom leave their apartment; however, I am a recent graduate and prefer to be in a more walkable area. I spent the entirety of last year in New York City, and I really enjoyed the ease of being able to walk everywhere and/or hop into a subway. I understand that I'm in Dallas, Texas now, but the surrounding area is not walkable whatsoever. The complex is right inside 75 and 635. Needless to say, the environment can feel variable (in a bad way) at times. If you drive a few minutes outside of the loop or to the other side of 75, the neighborhood/environment drastically shifts. Additionally, the quaint gym I described in the PROS section has really outdated gym equipment. I know they say that "something is better than nothing"; however, the treadmills are archaic. Finally, one of the entrances to the apartment complex is constantly left open, which ultimately jeopardizes the security of the complex's residents (taking into consideration the location of the apartment complex). Regardless, I've enjoyed my stay at 7900 at Park Central thus far. Like I mentioned earlier, if you do not mind having to drive to dining, groceries, and/or shopping, this is the place for you.
