Property Ratings at 81 Baxter St
I usually keep my place clean, especially with my current work hours. I am barely home during busy times, so I would say roughly 70% of the time, I don't cook at home, which means no food particles laying around, and no crumbs/no greases here and there. And yet, I still get a bunch of cockroaches that scare me to death because I never know when they will pop out from and I do not know where they are coming from. I also own a cat, which makes me vacuum the entire place every other day (and yes, my cat helps me catch the roaches and other bugs thereof). It's stressful to live in a "home" that has an unending bug infestation issue despite all my efforts to keep things clean, which makes it unable to relax at home. The walls and ceiling are not thick enough so you would actually hear upstairs vacuuming late at night (props to bad apartment mates) and hear the music/talking (usually only murmurs) all the time. Vents in the bathroom are connected as expected, so sometimes cigarette smoke smells come through the vents so my bathroom sometimes stink (not something you would want to smell when you're in a shower). The building has a few laundry machines, but I've seen live roaches coming in and out, and again, it is very disturbing to see that, and I would second-think about washing my clothes in those machines. The apartment itself is very close to the train station, so it's very easy to commute, but that's probably the only good part, and the rent price may not be worth it just for the convenient commute.
