The apartment is the full 2nd story of a historic house on Mapleton Hill, with it's own locking private entrance. No walls are shared and there are private windows with mountain views and greenery in all directions. Video tour available upon request! The space has gorgeous hardwood floors, views of the Flatirons, lots of lovely sunlight, a large pit couch, extendable TV screen, desk area in stairwell landing, clawfoot bathtub, and plenty of storage. The bedroom has a king-size bed, tall and private windows, two large side tables with drawers, a deep closet, and an oak armoire. All of the furniture throughout the apartment is high quality and less than 3yrs old. The house has a sweet shared front porch, backyard with grill and hammock, house-wide humidifier that works with the heating (it gets dry in Colorado!), and shared onsite laundry in the basement. There's also a huge vegetable garden in the front yard if you'd like to participate during the growing season (not necessary, of course) and a gorgeous Siberian forest cat that lives with the downstairs tenants. She'd love to hang out with you if you're a cat lover! The location of this apartment is the *best* in Boulder. You can walk to the mountains and the popular Sanitas Trail just a few blocks to the west, walk to downtown Boulder and the Pearl Street Mall just a few blocks to the south, and walk to North Boulder Park and groceries/more restaurants a few blocks to the north! The neighborhood is all delightful historic homes with old large trees, and a sweet community vibe. The apartment is near bus lines and bike paths for easy green commuting. There is extra storage space in the basement for an additional fee if the ample storage in the apartment is not enough. The apartment is 910 square feet, not including the basement laundry room, backyard, porch, and extra storage. The downstairs neighbor is female, quiet, conscientious, and friendly. There is plentiful street parking - you'll need to get an annual parking permit from the City of Boulder which allows you to also park downtown, which is a nice perk! Tenant pays for utilities but does not need to register directly with utility companies - utility charges for gas/electric, water, and trash are added each month to rent statement. No smoking or pets are allowed. Tenant helps with snow shoveling and landscaping, either via hands-on work or shared fee. Optional shared Wi-Fi available for additional fee, or tenant can set up own Wi-Fi service.
