Koreatown is a vibrant LA neighborhood fille with hidden gems, bars, eateries, and a collision of cultures. As the name suggests, the atmosphere in Koreatown is heavily influenced by Korean culture. The neighborhood is a favorite destination among foodies city-wide for its endless selection of authentic Korean restaurants, but the community has a much more diverse character than that: the broad range of cultural influences is exemplified in landmarks like the synagogue and contemporary art gallery of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the Latin fusion cuisine of Roy Choi’s restaurants, and the popular German/Korean/Hawaiian tinged gastropub, Biergarten.
Although the area is a hot spot for LA residents’ day trips, Koreatown is known as one of the best places to live in LA. Most locals rent their homes and enjoy parks, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance of their apartments.

Property Ratings at 825 S. Hobart Blvd.
This place was poorly run because of the management company. LBPM is the property management and very obvious that they only care for how much they can save. We recently moved out because of things that just accumulating. 1) It takes forever to fix things in the building. When the card reader for the laundry broke down, it took the management months to fix it. The washing machines and dryers are always broken and takes forever for management to fix it. We were forced to do our laundry outside of the facility. 2) The place smells like marijuana all day long. Manager/management seem not bothered by it when it clearly states on the rental contract that smoking is prohibited. 3) Dogs urinate everywhere. When cleaning people are not around you can see spot of urine everywhere. 4) Most tenants are very inconsiderate when doing their laundry. These people thinks they own the washer/dryer when doing their laundry and just leave their clothes for hours. Not even thinking that there are limited machines you can use because it is mostly broken. Do not be deceived by the monthly rent fee which is low compare to its rental properties around their vicinity. The amount of stress is not enough to compromise your sanity and heartache. If you want peace and serenity, go somewhere else. These were the only few reasons why we left.
We are moving out because of too many break ins. Numerous incidents of front lobby getting broken into. A motorcycle was stolen from a locked/gated parking garage and yet the onsite manager didnt even inform tenants. All she did was changed the remote code to the parking garage without providing explanation. I only found out from another tenant of the building. The onsite manager pretends to be nice but in reality is very clueless on how to manage the properrty. The property management on the other hand will save money as much as they could rather fix what's needed to be fixed!
I am a current resident of this aprtment and in the process of finding a place. There have been 15 breaks ins where cars have been vandalized and robbed in the last 3 weeks. 1 car was srolen and the perpetrator/s is becoming more dangerous yet the Apartment Manager did not do any thing to help the tenants. She did not inform tenants of the incidents to warn them. All tenants in this building are outrage that the manager on site and property management are ignoring their tenants' safety.
Moved from Chicago to Los Angeles. Found this apartment online. The management was very helpful with everything I needed to know for a smooth transition. When I arrived the apartment was even better than I hoped for. I love it!
Hobart is located in Koreatown which is peaceful, quaint, and safe. The are plenty of restaurants and stores in the area both Korean and American. Our apartment is just blocks away from Wilshire Blvd as well as the metro and bus stops. This area has a great walk score as everything is in walking distance. This apartment complex is also near downtown LA as well as Santa Monica if you enjoy the beach life as well! The apartment itself is centered around an open courtyard filled with plant life and palm trees. There is a working elevator to all floors, as well as 24 laundry service on site. The manager Angie, is the sweetest person you'll meet, and the maintenance man Dante is very handy and helpful. The apartment unit itself is a one bedroom with all new flooring and carpeting, an newly painted cabinets and counters. They layout is very spacious and comfortable. And there is even a gas fire place, and balcony! All in all I highly recommend Hobart Properties if you're looking for a lovely renting experience as well as a great place to call home.
New vinyl flooring, new carpeting, newly glossed cabinets and counters in both kitchen and bathroom. The manager is extremely nice and helpful along with the maintenance man. The location feels safe, quiet, and comfortable. Very close to the metro and bus routes, as well as downtown. Tons of restaurants in the area. The building itself is beautifully kept; the complex is centered around an open courtyard filled with trees and plants. Laundry facilities on site-open 24 hours. The one bedroom apartments are very spacious in their layout, with gas fireplace and peaceful balcony. And my girlfriend and I are extremely happy in our new apartment at 825 S Hobart! It really is a dream come true!
