Property Ratings at 83 Freight
Obviously everyone needs to use their best judgment, but I have always felt safe walking in the neighborhood. Lots of walkable restaurants and coffee shops, and lots of free and cheap parking if you would rather drive. Location is quiet but still an easy trip to the airport, downtown, hospitals, etc. Complex is well maintained and the apartments are cute.
I've lived here for two years and I love it. The interiors are beautiful and have design characteristics that some Nashville apartment complexes lack. The windows are floor to ceiling and my place is always filled with daylight. The location is perfect. It is very walkable to the flea market and soccer stadium and a two-minute drive from local coffee shops, bars, and restaurants in Wedgwood-Houston. The complex also does a great job with resident events in the summer!

I have both an Akita and a Ball Python, anybody who has one of these knows how hard it is to find housing, MUCH LESS BOTH. I am so incredibly thankful that 83 Freight looks at the animal as an individual and does not just look at what breed/species they are and simply labels them. Everybody here is very friendly and welcoming, the units are beautiful, and I LOVE how close we are to everything (especially downtown). I and my beloved animals love living here and I believe that you will too!

I love living here! Wedgewood is an up and coming area and this location puts you in the center of it. All residents who live here are super friendly & mindful. Lenita (property manager) is also very helpful and great at communicating! 10/10 would recommend
I have lived here for about 3 months and absolutely LOVE it! The spaces are so unique, spacious, and clean, and the location is amazing. The property manager is the best and really goes above and beyond - and always quick with responding when needed! I looked at several properties in Nashville when I was moving and I could not be happier I chose 83 Freight. For the price and location, you really can't beat it! I have nothing but positive things to say and highly recommend living here!
I’ve lived here in both a studio and 1 bedroom for 2.5 years (will be 3 this coming August) and I’ve never had issues! My power bill is always very cheap, everything works and I love our property manager, Lenita! It’s in a great location and a VERY quiet complex.
I've lived here for about a month now and I've had nothing but a positive experience! The leasing office is always incredibly quick to respond and you really won't find many apartments as unique as this one at such an ideal price point (and obviously an awesome location). Highly recommend living here!

I have lived here a little over a month and I have seen 3 different species of spiders, centipedes, rollie pollies, gnats, etc. Pest control has come twice, I've bought my own traps and bug spray and the problem persists. Unacceptable and disgusting!!

I was told my apartment would be ready by a certain date that was a lie. 6 months later still getting the run around about when i will be able to move in. Property manager Bailey just stopped responding to my emails after while. Spoke to people who were able to move in and they also advised me NOT to. Definitely isn’t worth it for the price.
I am a current resident and I didn’t want to post this but after what I’ve went through I feel as though it’s necessary. I was originally told that I would be moving into a one bedroom apartment on October of last year. I told the property manager 30 days in advance so that there was enough time. The one bedroom apartment wasn’t ready by my move in date and I was told by the property manager (Bailey) that I would be temporarily moving into a studio apartment and that the new unit would be ready soon. I was also told that I would have adequate notice when the new unit was ready and that the new unit would be mine when available. I received a text saying that the new unit was available but I would have to move immediately or the unit would have to go to someone else. Therefore after waiting for almost 4 months and having to put the rest of my personal belongings in storage; I lost the opportunity to get my new unit. Not to mention the fact that I have been paying $200 a month for the storage unit. I was then told that another unit would be available and that I could move in on the weekend of January 22. I sent several emails to the property manager to ensure this date was correct. I never received any response and I finally called the office. I was told that the apartment wouldn’t be ready. I was told this on January 20. That’s two days before my move in date. The apartments are very nice and the location is great but I can’t guarantee that you will receive the proper correspondence from management and I have reached the point in which I doubt that I’ll ever move out of this studio apartment. As I said before. I gave the complex thirty days to get my first apartment ready and it didn’t happen. I was then given a move in date for a second unit and that didn’t happen. And if it wasn’t for me calling the office then I wouldn’t have known that the second unit wouldn’t have been ready in time. I don’t like to give bad reviews but at this point I’ve given up all hope on anyones word. The management of this complex has lost all its credibility in my eyes.
