Separated from Eugene and the University of Oregon by the Willamette River and I-5, Springfield is a terrific city with wooded neighborhoods, mountain views, amazing outdoor adventures -- and yes, it is that Springfield. Matt Groening is an Oregon native, after all, and he based his fictional town of "Springfield" in the animated Simpsons series after Springfield, Oregon. The city even offers an unofficial Simpsons tour of Springfield, and some of the similarities are uncanny. For example, there really is a stylized horse statue at the entrance to the city, and Max's Tavern is claimed to have inspired the show's Moe's Tavern -- it is eerily similar. Max's opened in 1932, and it is rumored that Groening spent his college years in the tavern, sketching.
And while you won't be able to head out of your Springfield apartment to enjoy a Duff's beer, you will find a Moe's Tavern, and the city is known for its craft beer. It is also known for its outdoor adventures.

Property Ratings at Village Inn Apartments
I have lived here for 3 years and during this time have no complaints. I love that our manager is friendly and compassionate and asserts himself to going above and beyond to make all of us feel welcome and listened to. Brian and his staff here are prompt and thorough when there are problems with anything and because of that this has been an excellent place to live. I plan on staying here for as long as I can.
From the moment I walk in the office I felt welcomed. The manager answered all my questions, exceeding expectations. The whole process from application to move in didn't take long. Walking in the that office door was the best decision I had made so far!
Polite staff and very adequate about the questions I had. Highly recommend to others in search of a new home.
I recently moved into Village Inn Apartments, and from all of the negative reviews, I was skeptical of giving them a shot. I’m not sure if the other reviews are fake, but I thought the staff was friendly and enjoyable. I finished up the paper work, and had the keys to my nice, new apartment within an hour.
The office lady was incredibly rude and didn't want to answer any of our questions. She just shoved the application at us and then didn't want anything to do with us after that.
Rude office staff, expensive and rundown apartments. Definite NO!! One star because I cant have zero stars.
Property Manager at Village Inn Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hello, We are sorry you feel this way. Our apartments are actually still lower then our competitors. The apartments are older but kept up very well, we also add new flooring and refinish counter tops if needed.. We are 100% full and people love it here!
