I hate that you can’t really see the parking lines. People park crazy and don’t care about others. I don’t really like how thin the walls are. So if people are loud you can hear their conversations outside in the hallway. Also there is also a lot of trash in the parking garages a lot of the time or in the hallways.

So far so good 2 days in and not a single complaint the main office was great especially Susan very accommodating the Maintenance team also went above and Beyond so far I give this place a good 10/10

In general I can say I am happy with this building facility. I like that now we always have security and that the gate is working and whenever gets damaged it gets fixed quickly. I appreciate the office support all the time.

It’s nice. Would be 5 stars if the gate for the garage worked properly all the time. And if the fire alarm didn’t go off randomly when there isn’t a fire.

Not worth the price and they keep raising the price every time I renew my lease! We have been through 3 managers in a year and still no progress!

Acceptable except for a few issues ie...garage gate, non working elevator, and nasty carpet in hallways. Staff nice and accommodating. Most neighbors are cordial.

There could be better care for the apartment. The flooring in the hallway is full of stains and makes the hallway smell especially with different food being made. Stairwells constantly smelling like dog pee. The outside of apartments could use some work. But so far its pretty quiet, i love my apartment specifically and the appliances are up to date.

The process was smooth and easy. The ladies in the office were amazing!!! I had to move suddenly and sign sight unseen but Stephanie was very present and Susan sent me a great detailed video and Tiana handled my move in day and gave me a last minute tour before giving me my Keys!!! Thank You guys!!

Very nice apartments! Happy to be there! My cat loves it too haha. Its very quiet and nothing bad has happened during my stay so far. Apartment floor was a bit dirty but that's an easy fix

Great staff. The community is located about 10 min from the galleria and 610! Great amenities! Only down side is some residents are not very clean and can make the property seem less than appealing. Staff does however do a great job at communicating with residents and listening to the concerns.

The Community has gone down significantly since I’ve moved on last year. Residents allow their pets to defecate in the hallways and leave it there. Trash is left in front of access doors & in the elevator. This complex is not food or grocery delivery friendly. Two shooting on & near the complex. Pool area is always noisy with “EXTREMELY LOUD” music-So loud your patio door shakes. Vehicles are vandalized and don’t even get me started on those gates

Terrible management of property. The courtyard has dog poop everywhere and they don’t cut the grass. The doors are all broken and offer no security anybody can just walk-in. They don’t allow guest to park here and tow your guest. Elevator has been broken for a long time.

Guest parking in located on the first floor, and details are provided when residents pick up parking passes for the garage. I don't know where to start, but I will start here: PLEASE DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE! I have lived here for the past 9 months and just finished my lease and I could not be any happier! 1. Parking, they hired a security guard now yet cars are still being broken into. Just recently 3+ cars were hit the same night (again). Seemed to be Charger/Challenger type vehicles. This is an issue that can happen anywhere but can still be prevented with more security (cameras, i.e). People who don’t live here openly take up Parking spots. they say they've fixed this issue with requiring the new sticker so maybe this will get better. 2. Dog poop EVERYWHERE in the halls/ elevators. There’s been a stool on the floor for almost 4 days now. This is a resident issue but can be solved by having a maintenance team that cleans up the halls, which they obviously don't. 4. Trash, people leave their trash cans outside for DAYS and open bins. Adding to the already musty carpet and dog poop smell. We’re supposed to just leave the 1 trash can with 1 bag outside, but people put multiple bags and huge boxes. I feel bad for the garbage guy sometimes because people are so ignorant! Apparently there are "$25 fines" if you do this, but I've seen the leasing agents walking the property with no mind to the trash cans. 5. The noise. If you’re looking for peace and quiet at ANY time during the day, this is NOT the place for you. I can hear my neighbors Facebook messenger ringer. I can hear word for word my neighbors talk show he’s watching. I can hear people across the court yard. People screaming on their phones in the hallways. It’s just loud. No other way to describe it. There is no PEACE here. 6. Staff. Their job is just a job and that’s it. Obviously they do not get paid enough to geniuinly care. They have no true desire of making this a nice comfortable living environment otherwise all these issues would be SOLVED. I see that they are implmenting some changes in May so MAYBE it might get "better"...Additionally, I walked into the office many times to hear the staff talking about residents/resident issues among one another and also the manager being extremely rude to other customers. He is EXTREMELY condesending and has a terrible attitude. I feel for Samantha who truly has been the most helpful out of all the staff. She runs around the office and property doing the most to help solve issues that managers should be doing.

I have lived in these apartments for two years and I have seen a sharp decline in quality since SYNC residential took over the apartment complex, which is a stark contrast to the previous review. It was much better, and cleaner, under the old management. The residents do not follow rules. They are at the pool until 2 A.M. when the pool closes at 10 P.M. People still leave the trash valet out at the wrong times. The parking situation was never a problem because the previous owners took care of it before SYNC came in. There is no one that cleans the common areas or amenities, except the first floor where they show apartments. There is always trash in the hall, I saw a gatorade bottle and a sausage link in the stairwells for days. The pool water was green for 3 weeks before they fixed the issue. Lastly, people do not pick up after their Pets, the hallways frequently smell like dried, hot, dog pee. The only reason I gave the apartments two stars is because I like the apartment finishes and the staff does plan things for the residents and keep us updated with information.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are confused by your comment on the pool. We did have to close the pool due to someone dumping a bag of food into the pool causing damage to the filter/ pump, but it took less than one week to have the pool reopened again. I can honestly say with sync taking over, people are starting to follow rules like not leaving the trash valet out at the wrong times, there’s always parking , amenities are always clean, amazing gym and pool. The staff it’s super awesome! And people are picking up after their pets!!! They also keep doing residents and also are always updating us with things.

It’s funny how the same person that tries to get us to sign the lease is the same that acts mean every time we need help with something that we pay for! It has been a couple of times already that I had to test my patience to get my packages from Ms. Erica. Last time she was kicking my package and I had to pick it up from the floor. Is that even allowed? If you don’t know what’s inside? Today she had me looking like a fool even when I spelled the name of the person that signed the package release. How can you say you don’t have a package without even looking? It had to be a coworker standing up to help that, in less than 5 seconds she had my package. 88 West you have lost a customer! We’ve been here for 2 years and we won’t be renewing our lease just because of ms. Erica.

I usually do not write reviews but the experience I have had at 88 west is RIDICULOUS! I don’t even know where to start... I work out of town from time to time. I left my apartment and came home to find my place COVERED IN MOLD. There is excessive amount of humidity and moisture in the apartment, possibly due to the poor construction of the building. Management Shardae has been unhelpful, the regional manager Jodi was very rude and showed no concern. This issue has been going on for about three weeks now and has still not been taken care of !!!! My son and I have not been able to stay in my apartment and are still expected to pay rent. I’ve worked with many properties and have NEVER SEEN this poor of customer service! There have been many more issues...when I first moved in the Remote that was given to me didn’t even work. By the time I realized it, the office was closed. Myself and my movers were outside WAITING FOREVER just for them to be able to have access to the elevator to move my things into my place. Thankfully one resident was nice enough to loan me her remote to use. I ended up having to pay my movers for an ADDITIONAL 2 hours because of this!!! I would think Its common courtesy to ensure the remotes are working properly for any new moves ins, especially if that is the only way to access your apartment! Second incident was when I came outside to finding that my vehicle was TOWED. How am I a RESIDENT and my vehicle is being TOWED! I spoke with manager who also let her supervisor know and NOTHING WAS DONE! I ended up paying $250 to get my vehicle out of the storage! I couldn’t believe they could be so careless about the situation. Customer Service should be a business’s #1 PRIORITY! Another issue I have had is that the OFFICE IS SO SLOW RESPONDING! I’ve left vm during business hours and NEVER been contacted back. Ive been here 3 months now and they have NOT EVEN PAID MY LOCATOR for referring me! These are just a few things I have encountered while staying here, not to mention people leaving their SMELLY GARBAGE in the hallways ALL DAY, constant smell of weed and cigarette smoke, and cars speeding through the small horribly structured parking garage. I feel like I have made a big mistake choosing 88 west! There are plenty apartments around the area. My advice is to Take your money elsewhere!!!!
Nice apartment but security and management sucks. Had three instances where I had to call and track my package because the girl at the front told me it wasn’t there only to find out she was actually too lazy to check correctly and it was there the whole time
Security is an issue, there is Houston PD that lives on the property yet car are broken into often, now roaches are starting to creep into our apartment because the apartment complex is a dump...this place is a NIGHTMARE
I had to write a review because of all the negative ones out there. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Modern, beautifully kept, wonderful neighbors, young and old like me. The office staff Jackie, the manager and Gabby, the main leasing agent are incredible and always smiling. If you have a problem, it is immediately addressed by the office or the Chief Grounds Engineer, Sam. We have live-in Houston PD, so we are very safe. Almost everyone here has a pet and we clean up after our pets around the park and the dog park areas. Oh! I forgot to mention that we have community parties and food truck Fridays at least twice a month. (I personally love the food trucks!) I moved here after Harvey and to be closer to my job. This was one of the best choices I have ever made. If you want to discuss this with me, you can find me by the pool on any given summer day!!!
