About This Home
Furnished rental available April 1. For rent is our 3bd/2ba updated home on a beautiful fenced acre with lots of oak trees in the backyard. This has been a five star airbnb for many years and we've enjoyed having longer term renters that are usually searching for their next home or building in the area, extended vacations, etc. There is no garage as that belongs to another tenant and is totally detached from the home. There is a washer and dryer inside as well and tons of storage space inside with large pantry and walk in closet under the stairwell and lots of walk in attic storage spaces as well. There are 2 other excellent long term tenants that live on the large property and are detached and completely separated from the home as well as the yard. One is a converted garage apartment and the other is a 2 story apartment. We also allow dogs.. This home is ideally situated in Austin right off hwy 290 but feels like you're out in the country. Great family neighborhood and close to Dripping Springs as well and all of the fun Fitzhugh Rd. breweries and distilleries/restaurants! Tenant responsible for own Electric and WiFi bills. $75 total due to landlord to cover Trash, Water and Lawnmowing.

Although it is the state capital and located deep in the heart of Texas, Austin generally has more in common with places like Portland, Oregon rather than other large Lone Star State cities like Dallas or Houston. Consistently named one of the best places to live in America, Austin combines passions for food, live music, entrepreneurship, iconoclastic attitudes, and Texas traditions into a wholly unique cocktail that people just can’t get enough of.
The expansion of the tech industry and the wild popularity of music festivals like Austin City Limits and South by Southwest have boosted Austin’s profile as one of America’s most in-demand communities of the 21st century so far, attracting people from all walks of life and every corner of the world.
Regardless of their atypical culture, Texas pride runs deep in Austinites. Many of the city’s hip, young entrepreneurs are more than happy to deal in classic regional staples like Tex-Mex food, cowboy boots, and country music.
