Within walking distance of Downtown Greensboro, this 1940's home was renovated in 2020. There are some creeks and squeaks but there is still lots of life left. Idlewood House has hardwood and tile floors throughout the downstairs. Upstairs is all hardwood with the exception of a floor mural in the upstairs bedroom that was painted by Jesse Moncle, a High Point Artist and Muralist. The house is fully furnished with a pink velvet sofa and everything you would need to cook, eat, sleep, do laundry and live as regular of a life as you choose. During the summer months, we have a garden with vegetables and flowers available for picking at your leisure. This home is available for 30 day or longer rentals with the monthly rate depending on the length of your stay $ 2200 to 2500 per month. Utilities are included as is internet service. Cone Hospital is less than a five-minute drive and Westley Long and Kindred are less than ten minutes drive. There are three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with two twin beds. There is a tuned piano in the living room for anyone who is so inclined. Idlewood retreat will comfortably sleep up to 6 people. Guests over 3 will be an additional charge of $50 per month. We charge a one-time, $500 refundable security deposit, and a nonrefundable $150 cleaning fee. Cleaning after check out that is in excess of five hours will be subtracted from your security deposit at a rate of $40 per hour. There is an application that includes credit, background, and eviction history and is $35. If requesting to stay with service animals, please plan to share verifiable and legal documentation of service animals.
