Property Ratings at 950 4th Street
Ocean Palms was a fantastic building at one time but now, it is pretty awful. The tenants are great but management is horrible at communicating with the tenants about problems in the building. The elevator broke in November, 2021 and management is refusing to fix it in a timely way. Packages are constantly stolen because delivery people leave them in the lobby and elsewhere since they won't climb the stairs. Any other building would have fixed the elevator in a timely way but this management wants people to give up their apartments so they can eventually rent them out at higher rents. It's harassment from the management company.
I wouldn't recommend moving into this building. Management is dragging their feet fixing an elevator and movers cannot move people in or out.
Do not stay here. The onsite management team are slow and non responsive. This location is not value for money.
If the building looks good, living in it is better Everything works fine and the soundproofing is better than average, so the quality of life is good. The management of the building and the communication is impeccable, the maintenance is continuous and professional. This is a good place and you are in good hands. Without a doubt, a good choice for the long term.
The location is great. Property manager isnt the best. The units would definitely benefit from being updated. The finishes arent the best out there, so youre really paying for the location.
