I am in my 6th year here. We have to work together. It’s a process. Overall, I have enjoyed living here and the people in the office are good people, just work with them. There is only 3 of them and a lot of us. The apartments are old but we all know we live here because the rent is very reasonable. Since I’ve lived here they have cleaned up a lot ( as far as bad people ) and a lot of good people have moved in. This is 2021 and crime is every where. Be a good neighbor and everyone watch out for each other.
Sandra the owner of this place is horibleee. She doesn’t care about the people that pay her to live on the property! We have had nothing but issues. Both sinks hand flooded our house and they won’t tend to it until they want to. I addressed the issue and I was told that I get what I get And that the roaches were because “I don’t clean” when my house is very clean. She went in circles like a puppy to cover up This roach infested messy,trashy property she has under her name and doesn’t care one bit about it! our apartment came with the cabinets off and not even sanded or painted. Our door to our room is in the storage in our patio unit with black mold on it That we did not put there along with the black mold everywhere in the apartment that the maintenance man was just spraying white paint primer and I called him out on it and told the manager and she tried to lie but I saw what the can said and it was nothing for mold! Our a/c has been broken 3 times in the summer !! And they took forever to fix it let alone I had to call to see if they possibly have a window a/c we could borrow since our ac had been out for a month ! And numerous complaints! The parking omg don’t invite your family unless you want them to park on the road because They will get towed here! And it’s a far walk because you can’t even park near the second entrance. You have to park near the other apartments down the road!!! It’s not safe to leave your vehicle down there at all!! Just RUNNNNN?? *if there was a 0star I would give this property that!*
The apartments are old, they smell awful. Appliances are old and barely working office or maintenance people don't do enough to fix. floors vinyls tiles are coming apart. PLUS they will TOW your vehicle for any little reason. visitors must pay a fee to park and visit and must park in visitors parking which there are not enough, how ridiculous is that? Very rude personnel in office. They false advertise with pool and laundry amenities but none of the three BEAUTIFUL POOLS works,ive been here for six months and pools have never been open. you ask and they respond it that they do not have anything to do with laundry or pools. Then why included in their brochures right? looking to move asap.
The apartment complex has a very easy way about it. It's not the high scale property but it's safe and has everything you need to live life. Located near many essential things like Grocery stores, schools, strip shopping and hospitals. Avalon Bay has possibly the best security of the properties located on this street. Has local bus access and side walks. Google the property and see for yourself how close everything is.
