Crestview sits on the Florida Panhandle at the junction of three major highways, earning the nickname of the “Hub City” of Northwest Florida. Crestview is known for its convenience to multiple military installations, including Eglin Air Force Base, Duke Field Air Force Reserves Base, Hurlburt Field Air Force Base, and the U.S. Army Seventh Special Forces Group.
Crestview’s close proximity to military installations has been the catalyst for recent growth, making Crestview one of Florida’s fastest growing cities. Despite rapid growth, Crestview has managed to maintain a small-town feel. Crestview’s historic downtown hosts an array of community events such as the Triple B: Blackwater, Bluegrass, and BBQ Cook-off, Old Spanish Trail Car Show, and the Fall Festival. The surrounding area’s natural amenities are ideal for outdoor recreation, with Blackwater River State Forest to the north, Emerald Coast beaches to the south, the Yellow River to the west, and the Shoal River to the east.

Property Ratings at Addison Place Apartments
(This is long but please read) I have lived here for almost eight months now, and it is terrible. Yes, from the outside looking in it’s a good apartment for the price. However there’s so many problems with this place. The office staff is terrible, always try to make you out to be the bad guy and that’s if you even get them on the phone! They never answer their phones and when they do they’re very very rude. The management team is terrible, I had a black mold problem here for weeks that was causing me health issues and long story short is they told me I was making a big deal out of “mildew” even though they admitted it was mold, and spray painted over the mold. They didn’t clean it, air out the closet it was in or anything. I also found my air filter in my apartment that looked like it hadn’t been changed since AT LEAST until I moved in. They’re always leaving notes in my door saying I owe them $5.00 every other month or so as well as my boyfriends door who lives here, but I know I have payed my rent correctly down to the penny each time. There’s always different people at the office. The management team is always coming in my apartment without a warning OR permission from me. When I moved in my apartment was very dirty and I had to do a post-move in clean. If you’re considering moving here, DONT. Pay extra to live somewhere else, or less.
Save yourself the hassle and do not live here! The apartments are cockroach infested, and when you call to have pest control it takes weeks. The office staff never knows what's going on due to so many people being in and out of there. It's a headache moving here. The grass is never mowed, and the pool is never open. Good luck calling corporate and getting the dummy from Panama City to call you back, she's downright rude and mean. I highly recommend you go elsewhere, do not move to this hole in the wall!!
It's impossible to get someone on the phone. Left repeated messages with no return calls. I've only been able to ONCE and the girl was so very rude and short. I was trying to ask questions and every time she'd answer one of my questions, she'd try to get off the phone. Very frustrating. So much husband and I decided to actually go there, thinking maybe we'd be able to get more information. Wrong. We arrived just after 11am to find a sign on the door saying they'd return at 11am. Hmm. Well, we thought we'd wait a couple of minutes, maybe they were just running a bit late. We stood outside the leasing office conversing with 3 tenants for 20 mins while they waited to get in to pay their rent. During that time, we were told that the office staff is always missing, turnover is very high and their last girl was fired for sitting out back by the pool and chain smoking every day. Seems to me that the hiring manager needs to find someone reliable with actual customer service skills. We'd been hoping to rent there, but after multiple bad experiences, Addison has officially left a bad taste in our mouths.
I have called every day for over a week and left Addison Place a message. It has still not been returned! Addison Place never answers the phone! Every call/message has been within the normal business hours that are posted.
Was going to rent here. Called me a day before my appointment to see the place and said they rented it to a man that walked off the streets. Wish they didn't get my hopes up.. All in all the lady I talked to seemed nice
The Adisson Place Apartments in Crestview, Florida are the most beautiful apartments for this price. You only need to make one payment and you have basic cable, water, garbage, pool, playground, mini gym and computers available to use in the facility.
Addison Place has a great pool and HUGE open grassy area for kids to play in! It also has a nice playground and the "Kinder Club"-a weekly activity club for school-age children. It also has lots of community activities-from Easter Egg Hunts, Thanksgiving potlucks, and the big annual Christmas party!
Great family community apartments, good location. I will highly recomend the Apartments Comunity. Has a very pleasant experience visiting the area.
Went to see it, very clean nice size rooms. People r very nice. I has everything we r looking for. Hope to move in June 1st. ya
Property Manager at Addison Place Apartments, Responded To This Review
Renters with two cars are selfish, the policy is one car park in front of the building you reside and the second car suppose to be park somewhere else. However renters with two cars ignore the policy. The staff should start making them pay penalty if the policy is being ignored or post a sign board where renters can read it... I heard many people complaining about park issues. The office 'must' do their job. Not ignore the renters that complains about it. Good luck!
