White Oak Crossing, a shopping mall equipped with stores and a variety of eateries, is conveniently located off the Interstate 40 and Highway 70 junction. Parks like Garner Recreation Park and the parks and trails around Lake Benson provide outdoor activities. Residents can also travel a short distance north to get to highly rated restaurants and shops found in Downtown Raleigh.

Property Ratings at Abberly Place II at White Oak Crossing
Apartment are nice modern and good size. Walls are kinda thin, can be annoying if you have a really noisy neighbor but otherwise it’s pretty decent noise levels. I’ve didn’t experience much issues until I had a noisy neighbor from BELOW ME! And when it’s time to either renew or vacate your apartment put in that 60 day notice because if not they’ll try to had a ridiculous amount of charges on you for not giving a 60 day notice. Just put your vacate of notice in writing just in case you really don’t even up renewing.

I really loved living here until it was time to move out. Let's start with the positives: the maintenance staff was a delight! Could speak more highly of them. The pools are awesome and amenities are great! The apartments are a little outdated but not terrible for the price. Here are the negatives: I went to move out and was charged well over $700 for replacing the carpet. My dog has never had an accident in the house, and I did have a friend's dog over once who peed twice on the carpet but it was immediately cleaned up. However, they said dog strains were found in the carpets and ripped up the carpet, which was only a year old, to investigate the pee stains. I've heard of several other of HH Hunts (who owns Abberly Place) apartment complexes doing this and charging a ridiculous amount for new carpet. I will not be renewing at another HH Hunt property. I would highly recommend this place if you don't have pets! But be careful of move out fees associated with your furry friend
I moved to Abberly Place a couple of months ago and I love it! We're so close to the highway which makes it easy to get to work and we're near so many shopping and dining options. My only issue is the noise. I am the ground floor and I feel like I can hear EVERYTHING that my neighbor upstairs is doing. Walking, opening drawers, setting things down on the counter, etc. It's frustrating because I don't want to complain to my neighbors or management because it's not excessive and they're not being loud on purpose. It's just that everything they do comes through as a muffled bump on my ceiling at random times.
If you want to live in a place where cars are broken into and women are robbed outside of their apartment on a weekly basis, this is the place to be. What makes it even worse is the management team that thinks hiring one rent-a-cop is enough for the 600 unit development. It's become such a common event that they no longer post notices on residents doors, just one notice per building on the ground floor.
Abberly Place is a 'terrifical' place to take up residence! It's incredibly close to many convenient places being adjacent to White Oak shopping center, White Oak Cinemas, several restaurants and medical offices. The amenities enhance the neighborhood's appeal. It's reasonably priced and the staff is professional and courteous in every interaction. Any maintaence needs are promptly attended to. Come check it out!
This place is in a great area, close to Raleigh , and Johnston county. The people that work in the office are a little flakey. They seem to not know whats going on. It took me about three weeks after I moved in to get a working mailbox key. Also, during the cold months the fire alarms kept going off and a few apartments flooded. The service requests were made online but I had to call to remind them. Our dryer was broke for about a month before they got it working again.
I first moved into my apartment in December and immediately loved it. I live with my best friend but the apartment is so spacious that we're not on top of each other. If there is something wrong the office sends someone immediately to fix it and makes sure we are happy before they leave. Every month is a complex party to help people mingle and get to know their neighbors which is great. The area is quiet at night so no worries on that end. The location is right behind a shopping center so everything is minutes away. I couldn't ask for a better place to live.
Just driving up showes you all you need to know, warm beautiful and family oriented.
