Property Ratings at Abbey Lane
I don’t recommend this place at all!!! I’ve lived here twice because we were desperate for a place and it’s horrible there are roches, rats, mold, bedbugs and so much more. For the ones that have furry friends don’t live here almost everyone is scared of dogs and you or your dog will be uncomfortable.
Do not move in these apartments they are invested with Roaches everywhere, doesn’t even matter if they come spray them, the roaches are still there. I plan on moving our real soon
I don’t know what’s worst the rats or roaches. Embarrassing to have company literally roaches everywhere and mice running across the floor all day long. Never move here worst decision ever made.
I moved here in April and since day one there have been roaches. They came in only twice to treat it, but I swear it's gotten worse. I have emailed them multiple times with no response on them treating this. Trash is also awful here with broken glass and litter everywhere. I'm planning on moving out soon, I can't stand it.
Literally exactly what all the tenants say. Wish i had read reviews smh i was desperate to move ASAP and they had one 2 bdr available immediately, unlike most places with a waiting list.. During the walk thru my friend and i did not see any roaches and i moved in on a Tuesday. They told me that they fumigate all apartments before and after each person moves in or out whether they had roaches or not. While moving an hour or two later my friend spotted multiple roaches and told me to call. As the night went on of course i see more and more roaches. I was very upset i moved with my 5 month old daughter and 2 year old. I’ve sprayed bleach, gotten foggers and raid spray and traps. Like others say, it seems the more cleaning you do the mire there are. I am especially upset they were even on my carpet ending up on my couch and bed. Front office very unhelpful stating they come out every Tuesday and there’s nothing they can do except come spray next Tuesday again. My heat was also broken only blowing cold air, freezing my two girls and i that first night until they came to fix it. AlSo the water tank is very small so just space out everyone doing dishes or anything in the kitchen sink then taking showers or bathes.
The people at the front office would not let us see the apartment until the day we had signed the lease. they said they the apartment was still being fixed up so we put in our application fees and our holding fee(mind you holding fee is 100$) they didnt show us the apartment we would be moving into until after we had paid the firstonth rent and deposit. the worst mistake of my life!!! me and my family had went to check out the place that same night to see everything that was going on with it. as soon as we walked in we had seen a couple roaches on the floor... there were burn marks and holes everywhere. roaches crawling out of the cabinets and spider webs. the bath tub has some type of black stuff on the caulking. every single outlet panel is falling off and much much more. the worst place ive ever moved into
I lived at Abbey Lane in early 1980's. It was great then. They had a swimming pool, tennis court, the apartments were very clean and nice. The landscaping was very pretty. Looks like it has really done downhill.
I Have Only Lived Here For About 2 & 1/2 Months & I Already Want To Leave. Before We Even Signed Our Lease We Swept The Apartment & Sprayed For Bugs Just To Be Safe & Seconds After We Did Bugs Were Coming Out From All Around The Front Door & Windows. We Asked The Lady Who Showed Us The Apartment If They Had A Bug Problem Even Before That & She Said No. They Did Have Pest Control Come About 10 Days After & The Guy Literally Came & Left In Less Than 5 Minutes. We Thought That Would Take Care Of The Bug Problem But We Were Wrong. We Still See Bugs In Our Bathroom & Kitchen All The Time & They've Seemed To Get Bigger. The Ladies Down At The Leasing Office Were Not Helpful At ALL When We Told Them About The Problem. One Even Laughed & Said That They Are Probably Roaches & Argued With Us For Almost 15 Minutes. The Apartment Itself Had So Many Issues That Maintanance Had To Fix & They Definitely Took There Time Doing So. They Pretty Much Showed Up Whenever It Was Right For Them. There Are Kids Running Around EVERYWHERE At All Times Of The Day, From Almost 7am To 10:30pm When I Get Home From Work. They Look Through Our Windows & Run Away When We Open The Door To Say Something To Them, They Stand Out In Fromt Of Our Door & Scream & Cry & Their Parents Are Nowhere To Be Found So There's Not Much You Can Do About It. To Add On To That The Area Here Has Trash Everywhere & They Clean It Up Once In Every Blue Moon & The Rules That They Go Over With You While Signing The Lease Are Not Inforced. Good Luck Trying To Have Any Peace Living Here
Poor quality of living. General upkeep of the grounds is horrendous, there is trash everywhere and tons of glass in the parking lot. They have a huge cockroach problem, granted they do have a pest control fee included in rent to use for exterminators. They have only sent out exterminators once and the roaches have only gotten worse since they have come. We have been without air conditioning since we moved in and they have not done maintenance after being informed several times of the issue. We were told some other tenants have not had A/C for longer than us and they're "working on it". In general neighbors are rude and have no consideration for your personal space/belongings. They allow pets but it is definitely not a pet safe environment with glass everywhere and neighbors who have no respect for animals. The new upgraded apartments are anything but with horrible plaster jobs, outlets that don't even work, doors that don't shut, and plenty of crevices that invite in pests from other unhygienic tenants.
this apartment is not good for living.manager they didn't care if you some problem they will never send maintenance.
probably built in 70's, this is my third month here first one had mold, mildew and roaches, then they changed me to the current one. Has poor finishing in kitchen, bathroom, between floor and walls, leaving spaces for coach roaches to come in and out. You enter the house and roaches are every where, on food etc you literary have meals with roaches. Pools of water collects in the compound, bare ground clay, It is sickening.
I live here in the US for five year, and the the five years I live in this apartment, now signed the six year. I love it.
I wouldn't suggest living here. It doesn't look like the photos suggest, and the maintenance and new management are not the best in town. Or even in this part of town.
