I genuinely don’t know how to fully relay the horrible quality of these homes. Upon first moving in, we quickly realized that the dishwasher leaked, and the “smoke free” home had been smoked in for a very long time. We called to have them repaired. The man spent ten minutes jostling the dishwasher, said it was good, and left. It was definitely not “good.” It continued to leak every time after that. A different person came to help with the smoke smell that was concentrated in the master bedroom and bathroom. He did a clean, told us that it should be good, and left. We called to tell maintenance that it still smelled the same, it was in the walls. They told us there as nothing else to be done. We were unable to use that room the whole time we lived there. I’m very allergic, and we didn’t want our young boys and baby breathing it in. To quickly list the other things wrong with the place: the hot water and cold water was reversed in the only shower we had left; the over flow drain was connected to NOTHING (so water leaked into ceiling), and the washer and dryer made so much noise that we were asked by neighbors to only run it in the daytime. Also, if you have any pets, be prepared for them to charge you to replace the carpet. We have dogs, and there was a worn area of carpet where it met the kitchen tiles. It was worn and threadbare from 5 months of foot traffic combined with poor installation and cheap carpet. However, they claimed our dog ripped it up and charged us 1300 to replace it. Run far away. Please don’t stay here. There are cheaper places that are much nicer.

The apartments here are much older than they appear in the pictures. Doors dented, carpet coming up, nails/staples sticking out of the floor, the hand rail on the staircase is half broken, and the floors are uneven in the kitchen and bathroom. They put up a new coat of paint before I came in, but didn't bother to remove the hairs from the bathroom wall before doing so. Hairs literally painted to the wall. Maintenance is fast though. I will be moving out soon due to a ridiculous $300 rent hike. There is a reason they have so many vacancies right now.

I visited here yesterday to do a tour/walk through of my apartment (The Corbin) before my move in and fell in love. The apartment looked exactly like their virtual tour online and I am so excited to move in! Most of the negative reviews you have to take with a grain of salt because every home will have a bug issue, or someone who complains, especially if it's an apartment and you share a wall with dirty neighbors, etc. I think this complex is great, really clean, friendly and helpful staff, and nice amenities!! Plus it feels safe and like home. Definitely recommend checking out these apartments if you're looking to move! I can't wait to move in!

First let me say that Mrs. Justina and her staff are truly for the residents. I have lived at this property for a year but have known the management team for 3 years. You are treated with the highest amount of respect. The work orders or completed the day of or the next day. Friendly and respectful neighbors. The grounds or well kept. They always have fun events each month for the entire family to share. I will be renewing my least again.

Beautiful property! We were just up shopping around the area because we plan to make a move in late March, early April 2020. Drew is so welcoming and knowledgeable. She showed up the community, gave us info about the area and made us feel right at home. Drew has BY FAR been the BEST person in a rental office that we’ve come across during our home search!!

I went to have a tour and it was awesome! The staff were so helpful and polite. I got all the answers I needed and even some I didn’t know I would need. The consultant knew so much information about the property which really helped me in the long run! Definitely going to look more into Abington at Northampton!!

All I can say is do NOT live here. I am some what of a clean freak and have kept the apartment in wonderful condition. When you move out they will try and charge you 1800 dollars in damage fees. The carpet was flooded several times due to their air conditioner leaking. They will make you pay 900 dollars to replace their carpet for problems that originated with their faulty equipment. We also painted the apartment a light neutral color. When repainting the apartment after someone moves out, they pay for the first coat of primer. They stated it took them 2 additional coats of primer to paint over a light neutral paint color, which they charged me 440 dollars for. Keep in mind this is only a 600 foot sq apartment. Do further research you will find this is a reoccurring complaint. When you move out, they will slam you with a huge bill that doesnt add up. Unfortunately this is a military area and people try to take advantage of that. Just do your self a favor and choose somewhere else to live.

I have lived at Abington at Northampton for over a year and I love it. The staff of Anita, the manager, Chelsea, Nicole, Maggie and Tia are always courteous, professional and welcoming. Just recently there was an incident along the fence line that involved the overgrown trees and brush. This incident was reported to Chelsea, and within 72 hours there was a professional crew cutting back the brush and overgrown tree limbs. This has greatly improved the area and has relieved some safety concerns. Thanks to Chelsea, and her taking my concerns seriously, the problem has been solved. But, this is a typical response for this staff. Evidently, the manager, Anita, has set the tone and the staff follows through. This office staff and maintenance staff are always courteous, kind and professional. It is always a pleasure when you engage the staff. A welcoming spirit is always in effect.

I have live at Abbington for almost three years now and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The Office staff is always very friendly and helpful. The Maintenance team is also on point. You can always spot them cleaning up around the complex and when you need something fixed they come right away. I would recommend this complex to anyone.

So disappointed in this apartment complex. I used to live here a few years ago before I had to relocate for work. I decided to come back because I like it in the past and didn't have any issues but that was the BIGGEST MISTAKE I HAD MADE. I came back to all sorts of problems such as leakage on the wall, mold, mice chilling like they live there too , roaches playing dead and BUGS EVERYWHERE. I couldn't believe that I was going through that. I told the leasing office but they didn't seen to care. If your not a bug person beware because what ever the exterminator is using isn't working

We moved into a renovated apartment but be careful our toilet leaks and we've called maintenance plenty of times and they claim they have fixed it but the water on the floor tells a different story. Maintenance also has had to come fix our dishwasher about 2-3 times in the past 8 months. but the big issue we have is we are trying to move out and they want us to pay a $550 depreciation fee on the carpet. One of the leasing consultants told us they were changing the carpet anyway so I was confused as to why we were paying 2/3 of the carpet change. We have been here almost 3 years and they calculate how long you have lived there and come up with this total. So before you move in here please think long term!

When you first see these apartments, they appear to be the best. After moving in, I immediately regret it. My neighbors nag about EVERYTHING, the dog park isn't kept clean, my apartment was filthy when I moved in, WORST PLUMBING EVER, the list could go on. The staff is nice and helpful, but maintenance takes forever. I'm definitely moving out when my lease is up. KEEP LOOKING.

I have been living here for the past year, and don't have many complaints. They lost my friends' pet fee twice, but other than that it has been an all-around pleasant experience. Wish I could stay, but the price is too steep.

My wife and I have been living at Abbington at Northampton for almost five years and do not plan on leaving anytime soon! I love how close we are to my job (5 minutes away), mall and to the interstate. The staff in the rental office are always pleasant and the maintenance men have always been professional and are prompt to fixing our repair request.
I've been at Abbington at Northampton for almost a year now. I must say that it started off a little rocky with maintenance and pest issues. However as the months increased things have gotten better. I've never had any issue with staff members or paying my rent. They have plenty of options for residents to pay rent, ie. check, website, money order. The pool has been a great add on feature for this hot summer, and when I'm feeling like a workout guru I always have the option to go the the convenient gym. I am a satisfied resident!
I have been her for a month the staff are helpful the grass is always maintain *they did forget to tell us we had to get a key for the mailbox at the post office it takes about a week and its free

Abbington at Northampton is great! The apartments are newly renovated and spacious. The gym is always clean and the staff is friendly. Only if I could get them to mow my lawn it would be perfect!!! ;)

Just moved in recently, quiet neighborhood so far. I love the updated kitchen in the apartment. The staff has been wonderful and very helpful. Love that we can pay rent online. Wish there was more storage space but other than that no complaints.
