For the price I expected for the gates to be working Ive been living here for almost a year and the gates have never worked When I first moved in there was paint all over the kitchen and bedroom floors Lastly the fireplace is just for looks and Ive had to call maintenance about drainage issues Poop came out of my shower drain

This place is super awesome. Lived here for 1 year and everything is top notch. Place is neat and clean. Leasing office staffs are super cool and greets customers well. Maintenance requests are of quick response, Bradly comes and resolve the requests asap within 1 hr. Great Place to live and enjoy

A very good office personnel that keeps everything just right and up to date here at Abbington. And a very good maintenance crew and yard work crew.
Taylor , Charleston , and Kingsley execute their jobs everyday to the fullest . Honestly , Im still here for three years because of them . They are honest , reliable , productive, and they care about the residents here . I pray that they continue to stay with the company in for years to come . I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone . All of my neighbors are great and the up keep of the community .
Ok, so I’ve been a resident of this community for a little over a month and here is my review: PROS: - Affordable rent - Maintenance requests are addressed in a timely manner CONS: - Apartments are poorly constructed and will need to constantly be maintenanced. - Walls are extremely thin and you can hear every single step that your neighbors make (its a nightmare if they have kids/pets above you) - Bedrooms are poorly ventilated and windows become foggy after showering (thus causing mold/mildew in window sills) - Neighbors are loud and obnoxious...Loud music constantly blaring out of units. Car club meets by complex garages on weekend mornings often blasting music ( Property manager refuses to address noise complaints) - Waste management empties dumpsters at 6:30AM atleast twice a week ( very inconvenient if you live near dumpsters) - Unit plumbing is subpar. Sometimes unable to take multiple showers at a time or back to back. - Trash rarely picked up around complex grounds. - Leasing staff drags their feet during approval process ( you will have to call them daily to check the status/progress of your application) - Vinyl flooring is cheap and dents easily. If you just need somewhere to lay your head for an affordable price then this place is befitting. If you work from home or are simply quarantined due to Covid, then please spare your mental health and look elsewhere.
The upper management and staff is really helpful and professional. They seem really concerned when residents have issues and need assistance. They return calls timely and maintenance is top notch. They work hard to keep the property clean and organized.
I feel safe and secure here at Abington Apartments. Good maintenance very respectful. And very nice and respectful office personnel.

Having worked in housing for decades, Ill say this community excels in management, maintenance and professionalism. Ive had some serious health issues which can make a person less than patient and kind. Yet the office has always been respectful and patient with me. Especially Taylor and Charlton. The landscaping is impeccable and I e worked in A high end new construction sites where thats a huge priority. I wasnt able to use any of the amenities due to Covid restrictions but the pool looks sparkling clean as Im sure the gym is. I highly recommend this community to single professionals and families.
Love the great spacious apartment and it's close to everything. Disagree with the parking for the visitors and giving them a boot. Absolutely disagree. I could understand if they were staying the night or for days.
I have been hear for almost 4 months and so far I have been please for the most.
Management has changed a few times while I've been a resident, and I'm still pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. Treat others with respect and politeness, and it will be returned in kind.
So far this community is a good place to live I have no complaints very pleased.

Family friendly, clean and spacious apartment.
Its nice and quite i havent had any trouble with neighbors nothing serious. The apartments have great space if its just about 1-3 people living in the 1 bedroom. There are alot of geese every spring so be careful.
Its been good so far, for the past 8 months.
The unit is cute but I would not recommend. On my move in day, they were suppose to do a walk through WITH me, but they did it on their own and said everything was fine. I walked in my unit for the first time and the baseboards were rotted, my bathroom sink was extremely rusted and worn, and my apartment was barely clean. I spoke with them about these matters and they did resurface my sink, and fixed the baseboards, and took a day off my rent. So I was happy about that. However, at the time I moved in the main gate was broke, and they told me the gate would be fixed in a week, however it took a month, and people’s cars were being broken into and stolen. It is finally fixed. Also, when I moved in, I asked if they sprayed for pest (which is a mandatory monthly bill not included in rent), and they said yes. However, again, I’ve only been here for a month, and I just saw a roach. I live on the third floor, so bugs shouldn’t be able to easily come into my unit like that. In addition, my ice maker does not work, and I was told almost 2 weeks ago that I would get a new one, I have even reminded them of this, and they have still not fixed or replaced my ice maker. Continuing, my front door and the area around my front door is very dirty and covered in spider webs. I have tried to clean it myself, but it honestly needs to be pressure washed. Furthermore, the water would not come out of my shower head originally on the day that I moved in, they did fix that too. But none of these issues should have existed in the first place. Another thing, there is a trash fee every month, but the trash is not valet. You still have to take your own trash to the dumpster, so what is the monthly trash fee for? Rent here at your own risk, the staff is kind, but that is probably the only good thing I can say about this complex.
Do NOT sign a lease here!!!! They may be the cheapest on the street but they definitely are the worse! 1. The security gates are open ALL the time & people can follow you through at night 2. Management is horrible, there is no other way to say it. The only reason I resigned my lease was because of Ms. Marcy & she definitely don't work here anymore. The "refrigerator" leaked on the 3rd floor into our apartment not once but TWICE. Management did not have any remorse & did not want to compensate for the inconvenience & damage. The generators & blowers & etc were blowing non stop for more than 3 days, no compensation. 3. They charge you monthly for spraying for pest. But I asked the office about the spider webs in the staircases and they do it "quarterly." Pest are not sprayed for, nothing but another way to get your money. 4. You can not pay rent by money order anymore. Everything is online. You can pay it with a debit or credit card online and they charge you an extra $10 fee. Another way to get money out of you. 5. Water is split by the entire community. We weren't here for over 2.5 weeks and the water bill went up instead of going down. 6. They charge $85 Extra each month to renew your lease. 7. There is no security at night. They have 2 cameras only at the club house and of course no one lives at the club house soooooo security is definitely POOR! 8. GEEESSSSSSEEEEE!!! Geese are EVERYWHERE! Geese poop on all the sidewalks. 9. If you work during the day you will never get to enjoy the pool. It's only open 10am until 8pm. By the time it cool down a little the pool is closed. 10. If you live on the bottom floor you definitely will have insects constantly. 11. The apartments need to be remolded and updated for the price you pay. 12. They have lost my package TWICE! Both times they were dropped off by UPS. I called and stopped by the office last month (June) looking for my package & they stated several times they did not have it. Well this month (July) I was looking for a package the UPS man said he dropped off but they claimed they didn't find it but they found the one from last month. The list could go ON & ON!!!!! JUST AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! You were warned!

Just moved in and after reading these reviews all these problems must've been fixed with the renovations. I LOVE my new apartment and the staff was nothing but helpful.

I discovered a huge mold colony growing in my air system and was told by my physician that this was a serious health hazard. When I tried to speak with management, they were defensive about it and did very little to fix the problem. Although the monthly rent is significantly less than other communities in the area, I ended up spending a ton of money on medical bills associated with treating my symptoms related to the mold in the apartment and would HIGHLY recommend that people look elsewhere for a place to call home! This place is not safe!!!

The area is quiet and the apartments are spacious and very comfortable. The grounds are maintained well. The staff is responsive and friendly but I am concerned for my health. There is a serious moisture problem in my apartment. I've had at least 6 pairs of shoes damaged by growth of mold on them. The windows in the bedroom has black stuff growing on the pane and sill. The windows are always sweating as well. It smells horrible in the summer time. I can't wait for my my lease to be up.
