The hilly, wooded neighborhood of Canyon Creek resembles a nature preserve more than it does a neighborhood – that’s until you notice the beautiful homes tucked into the trees. Canyon Creek provides a peaceful, park-like atmosphere that’s just 20 miles north of Downtown Austin, directly north of Concordia University Texas, southwest of the Austin Aquarium, four miles south of Lakeline Mall, and just five miles from Lake Travis and Lake Austin. Travel down 620 to do your grocery shopping and grab a quick meal – you’ll find a variety of options here, including H-E-B, CVS, and Home Depot.
Canyon Creek features one neighborhood park. Trailhead Park is located on the north end of the neighborhood and includes a covered playground, a walking path, plenty of shade trees, a basketball court, soccer fields, and picnic areas. If you are moving to a Canyon Creek apartment with children, be aware that Canyon Creek is part of two school districts.

It’s been pretty peaceful as far as noise! Although I’m not so keen on the wildlife. The staff is iffy. The outside is not the ideal place to look at but the grass is every once in a while mowed.

I have in the distant past, but would no longer refer anyone to this property. A lot of work needs to be done to ever garner a higher rating again. Looks great from the front, but inside the gates is a different story. Interiors are nice enough but the property itself has been neglected for far too long. Dirty, needs repainted, hedges and flowers died off years ago, dirt where grass used to grow. Depressing. While I do have some amazing long term neighbors, overall the newer clientele has depreciated… drugs and disruptive behaviors are commonplace now. Used to be such a nice place. Sadly, no more. Time to leave.

I'd give 5 but we had a mix up and wound up being charged multiple late fees even though we paid before the 5th every month. One late fee was waived but I truly feel that it should have been more. Otherwise I love the apartment. Maintenance is always timely and friendly. The neighborhood and amenities are great. Plan to stay for several years as long as rent doesn't increase too much.

It’s a very nice apartment complex! The pool use is great! Has a lot of great trails to walk also! Another plus is it’s very close to both HEBs and plenty of food places!

Roach infested. Unit smells of mold/mildew/old that won’t go away. Car got broken into. Not very happy living here. Studio is too expensive for the size and quality of it.

Loved that it was quick. However when approvals and what not came thru no one ever called and my email went to junk so I didn’t know until I went digging and could have known 5 hours beforehand and started moving slot earlier in the day . Otherwise the staff was prompt and ensuring quick move-in just not very communicative

I like the pool when it’s not crowded they have barbecue pits as well. Lots of kids and families that live here as well. Parking isn’t hard to find

I'm still very new here, but I love the locations of the grills, I love the lizards running around everywhere, I loved the bagel grab and go at the office and meeting some of my neighbors. I love my apartment as well, the floor plan and design makes it feel very spacious.

So far, it has been a wonderful transition and experience. The Administration staff is very efficient, pleasant and professional. The grounds are soooo esthetically pleasing. I love the estuary outside of my back door/deck...beautiful trees, foliage, various species of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, squirrels, bees...the sound of the waters running at the resort style swimming pool... It's truly a sanctuary for me and my daughter. The community is well-orchestrated with great maintenance professionals as well.

Roach infested, old appliances, and smelly apartment complex. The tour they gave me before I moved in did not mention any of that. Do not recommend.

It has been very good so far!! Fun pools, good community, great events! I have yet to have problems with anyone or anything!!! The nearby stores and restaurants are to die for and they aren’t even that far !! There’s a lot of stuff within walking distance so if you are without a vehicle don’t worry.

Lynsey at the office was very sweet and helpful. The complex is very quiet, except for 1 German shepherd. And people don't seem to be very regular in picking up after their dogs. But other than that, this seems like a wonderful place to call home.

Good place to live for new adults. Lovely nature view and lovely place to grow up. Very friendly staff and very helpful to everyone here i like it

I like everything about living here. I haven't seen too many of my neighbors which is not a big deal . Everyone I have seen has been nice and respectful.

Nice community with nature all around. I love the plush greenery mixed with the bricks. Some parts of the property are not kept up like the front of the property. I have neighbors who don’t clean up their dog poop and it’s been there for months.

Great place to live. Nice office staff. Spacious rooms. Good Location and maintenance team is great and very efficient. You have to work order and they usually come the next day and they’re always so nice. Great experience so far.

Pools need to be cleaner. Residents don't pick up after their dogs. Trash around complex. Apartments are dated, not worth the price they are charging for rent.

Love living here, me and my family enjoy walking the property, and playing at the park. The new lights at the dog park are so great and offer tons of lighting!
