Ratings & Reviews Terms of Use

These Ratings & Reviews Terms of Use govern your conduct associated with the Ratings and Reviews service offered by CoStar Realty Information, Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectively, “Company”).

By submitting any content to Company, you represent, warrant, and agree that:

You are the sole author and owner of the intellectual property rights thereto
All “moral rights” that you may have in such content have been voluntarily waived by you
All content that you post is accurate
You are at least 18 years old
Use of the content you supply does not violate these Ratings & Reviews Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity

You further agree and warrant that you shall not submit any content:

That is known by you to be false, inaccurate or misleading
That infringes, violates or misuses any third party's intellectual property, including any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights, rights of publicity, or privacy rights
That includes any personally identifiable information, such as the first and last names of any individual, or any other information that would make an individual uniquely identifiable
That includes any addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information
That violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation, including, but not limited to, HUD, fair-housing, anti-discrimination, export control, consumer protection, unfair competition or false advertising
That is, or may reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership or corporation
For which you were compensated or granted any consideration by any third party
That references topics or subjects other than the review subject (such as other websites, other communities, etc.)
That contains any computer viruses, worms or other potentially damaging computer programs or files

You should not use the review services as a tool to report issues requiring the attention of specific staff, such as maintenance staff; you should contact the appropriate staff directly for any such issues.

You agree to indemnify and hold Company (and its officers, directors, members, affiliates, agents, parent and subsidiary companies, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers, harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

All content that you submit may be used at the sole discretion of Company. Company reserves the right to change, condense, delete, or not post any content in its sole discretion. You acknowledge that you, not Company, are responsible for the contents of your submission. None of the content that you submit shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of Company.

By submitting your email address in connection with your rating and review, you agree that Company and its third party service providers may use your email address to contact you about the status of your review and for other administrative purposes.

In addition to these Ratings and Reviews Terms of Use, all submitted reviews are subject to the terms set forth in Company’s privacy statement and website terms of use and, in the event of any conflict, these Ratings and Reviews Terms of Use shall control as to your use of, or submission of content to, the Ratings and Reviews service.
