Property Ratings at Acacia Park Apartments
Was told we can come view a 2bd, we get down here (3/27/23) we’re told that the door to the 2bd is broken and they cannot get into it so we are only allowed to see a 1bd (completely different layout). My boyfriend lost his ID and is waiting on it in the mail, mind you I have mine and he has a picture of his and also offered his phone as collateral. They refused to show us the 1bd due to him not having his ID. I’m only so upset due to the fact we wasted so much gas and time due to us living almost an hour away and all this could could’ve been prevent by proper communication over the phone when I called the day before.
When I first moved in the front desk we’re at first kind and caring, would do what you wanted to be fixed. Couple months later we had new management and front desk people, I don’t know what they are called but they didn’t care and hard to get maintenance done. They would take your money for no apparent reason and one of the new maintenance crew would not want to work on your appliances that you rented out from them. I tried to complain but didn’t work and we don’t have any visitor parking because one time a friend came by three days straight and used one of the future resident parking and had a warning letter for future residents only. If you have a dog that is serviced and over the weight limit I suggest you to show what your dog looks like, they have never seen mine but we’re trying to kick my service dog out cause he’s overweight and I had to show proof by a letter.
The staff is rude they yell at you if you need assistance they are unprofessional they hate to fix anything you have to force them by calling code enforcement or the health department they have cockroaches and rats infestation in the apartments they play tow wars and the management promotes violence between neighbors if you’re the one complaining about a issue they will label you as the problem instead of resolving the issue they leave notices on the door with new changes and rules not stated in your rental agreement and try to fine you if you don’t comply take my advice skip this location it’s not worth it looks are very deceiving believe me FAIR WARNING PROCEED WITH CAUTION !!!!!!!
Worst decision ever. They will RUN your pockets up trying to tow your car for any reason they can find. Please listen to the reviews!! They are overpriced and poor management..especially the new management.
Additional fees, poor parking, and towing company comes nightly. Will tow even if you are in your own spot.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I moved in to the unit and everything was fine. July/August hit and my air conditioning wasn’t blowing air properly and they sent people out and nothing was ever fixed. The HVAC guy told them the air conditioner was a dinosaur and when I asked them if they were going to fix it they flat out told me it wasn’t there problem and they don’t have to supply me with air conditioning. Needless to say my wife, 4 year old and I suffer summers of an apartment 85+ degrees inside and when it cools down at night I can’t even cool my apartment to the same temperature it is outside even with all the windows open. Absolutely pathetic. Don’t live here. You’ve been warned.
I had just got my brand new car, didn’t have a chance to get the permit sticker since the apartment office was close. The same night 3 hours later that my car was parked, it got towed!!!! Had to wait until Monday because the office and towing place were closed. Had to pay $445 for the car being there over the weekend and towing place or apartment couldn’t do anything about it !! The parking sucks! And management didn’t do anything about it or considered that i have been a residence for 2 years. I’ve had many other situations where other cars were parked in my spot without a permit and cars were never towed. All of a sudden they see a new car and want to tow it in a matter of hours! If your ready to pay unnecessary fees, then this is the perfect place to rent !
I am so tired of the current parking situation, you will come home and and someone will be in your “paid” parking spot, it’s a free for all, management does nothing, where am I supposed to park??!
Used to be a nice place to live but management is definitely not up to par. And the poor maintenance department. There are only 4 for such a big complex. Also the parking sucks. Dont expect to be wowed by management office cause thats not going to happen. For what you pay to live here you should expect better customer service but you will be disappointed
Starting off by first saying if you have more than one car don’t move here. Parking is horrible to find and even the ONE spot given to you is nowhere close to your building. Maintanance takes over a week to fix anything and that’s if they even fix it. For everything you pay they sure don’t take care of you here. I’m breaking my lease that’s how annoying it gets.
Don't take this warning lightly. I have lived here exactly a month, and have dealt with an average of 1 large issue per week. Issues that have cost me A LOT of money...one of which was a tow that was at the fault of Acacia. You will often receive misinformation, even when asking a specific question. If you have any other option, please take it as you will deal with issue after issue with this property, you may even have to leave work to deal with them. Luckily I have a flexible job and understanding supervisor who is so grateful he chose a different property after hearing the issues I have been dealing with, still with no final resolution. Heed this warning!
The leasing office is not competent enough to successfully tackle the problem of parking, instead they keep changing stickers and making arbitrary rules that no one follows because the tow company barely enforces it. I've heard residents literally fight over parking. I've been living here for almost a year and can't wait to get out. Don't rent here.
Starting June 1, 2017, there will only be one parking spot available per apartment. That's right, even if you're renting a 2-bedroom apartment, you can have only 1 space to park in. Their solution to that are the approximately 14 spots outside the complex that they will give out daily (first-come, first-serve) to the people who can wait around until their office opens. There is no street parking. If you want to get out of your lease to find a place where you and another adult can both rent an apartment and park on property, you have to give 30 days' notice and pay $1500 (conveniently, they only gave us 3 weeks' notice of the parking changes). People who are paying for a parking spot in a garage have to continue to pay until their lease is up, but can't have a parking spot outside of their garage unless they give up their garage. Everyone else will get 1 free parking spot, but no more.
San Bernardino isn't exactly Malibu. That much is clear. There's not many nice areas, and not too much to do. But the mountains are majestic. And if you are looking for a place, especially if you are a CSUSB student, Acaccia Park is great. Bordering the CSUSB campus, it is in one of the best parts of town. It's really secluded from most of the riff raff in San Bernardino. It also has a really great view being so close to the mountains. Best apartment location in SB! The apartments themeselves are pretty decent, especially for what you pay. I paid roughly $800 a month for a 1Bed/1Bath with a full kitchen, big bathroom, large private deck/patio, and a garage. Inside is carpeted, except for the kitchen and bathroom, but that's pretty standard. Lots of kitchen and cooking space. The complex is gated, which is needed, in SB. It has some nice facilities though, including a pool with a great ambiance and a hot tub. You can't beat watching the sunsets from the hot tub after a long day! Overall, it's not a bad apartment place. 4 star for being the best in San Bernardino!
I have lived in many apartments in my lifetime but my apartment complex is the most fabulous, family friendly apartment around! I can tell when they built it, they had family in mind with their spacious pools, and Jacuzzi, and tennis courts and not to mention volleyball as well as tether ball courts too! I love to get up and look out my Windows and takes look at the beautiful scenery looking at much landscape and the beautiful California mountains, that's why I love Acacia Park Apartments!! A place I call home.
well at least that's what my partner said when she saw the bathroom. And I love that I have wood burning fireplace and good size patio.
