Snug between the grassy plains and mountain peaks, Fort Collins is a treat for the eyes. It’s also home to Colorado State University, a top-ranking school known for academic excellence. Like many college towns, Fort Collins provides a variety of shops, restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment in its downtown district, but the pull of the beautiful landscape might draw you outdoors most often. The nearby Rocky Mountains and Roosevelt National Forest are ideal for activities like hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing. In the winter, sledding, skiing, and snowshoeing are popular.
Year-round events and festivals bring Fort Collins residents together. Whether it’s enjoying the popular summer concert series, catching a live musical performance at the Mishawaka Amphitheater, cheering on participants in the Colorado Marathon, or attending one of the popular music festivals, there’s always something exciting happening.

Property Ratings at Academy Park Apartments
I would NOT recommend living here unless you are desperate! You can hear everything upstairs and through the walls, and there were police called there several times. Our apartment had kitchen and living room damage due to the humidity in there, and no one did anything about it. Also, THE CEILING TO OUR BATHROOM FELL OUT, after the maintenance people "fixed" a drip in the ceiling. We came home several times to find pools of water on our floors and had no idea where it came from, so we even had damage to our own furniture. Our apartment was constantly hot and the maintenance people seemed very lazy. Absolutely not worth the money.
