Just moved in. Our first time in a building like this and so far it's been great! The apts are really well set-up. Response time for maintenance is immediate. Great amenities. Well maintained property. Peaceful and quiet. And shout out to Barry in the leasing office he's the best! So far so good.
Accent is a great place to live combining knowledgeable and respectful staff in a very clean and modern, well appointed environment.
Accent has been a wonderful place to live for me, my husband, and our dog. We use the amenities regularly, and the dog washing station has been a life saver. After coming from an apartment with a horrible management company, accent has been a breath of fresh air. Everyone in the leasing office has been incredible and responds to any concerns promptly. Barry has been there since day 1 of our move in 2 years ago and always has a big smile on his face when he greets every resident.
My experience at Accent has been remarkably pleasant. The management team consistently goes well above and beyond the scope of their responsibilities to serve the tenants. Both Adie and Barry are excellent representatives for Accent at all times.
This is very good community to stay in. They are very prompt as there is any situation that needs to be addressed. Definitely worth your stay

This is by far the most impressively managed and maintained apartment building I have ever seen (and I actually work in apartment management). We've never had a single problem. Every maintenance issue (and they've mostly been minor, nit-picky things) has been solved instantly. Every employee is wonderful. Everything is so clean! The dog run literally smells like soap. And our apartment is beautiful! It's uniquely and interestingly designed while still being very modern and easily customized. This place is surreal.
Accent is a great place to rent. Neighbors are quiet and do tend to keep to themselves, but I also found them very friendly and polite when in common areas such as the gym or pool. Rae and Barry made my experience so great and were extremely helpful with packages and questions. The greatest part of this complex is their flexible leasing options. I was able to choose how many months I wanted to rent for ,and when I had to move for work, I was able to end my lease without any penalty. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I have really enjoyed living here - for the most part quiet
I've never had an apartment fix problems so fast. I submitted a work order and the next day maintenance came out to fix my washer and dryer! I feel lucky to be taken care of by such an amazing team. :)
I've loved every moment of my experience with Accent from the initial phone call to my move-in date. The staff has been incredibly accommodating and friendly, my unit is beautiful and the building is quiet and well kept. I could not be happier with where I live!

Ive been at accent for two weeks but so far its been great! Management has been timely in their response to my questions and helping me get acclimated. Maintenance has also been really responsive. The other residents are friendly and its a great community! My dog loves the dog park too!
The units in the Accent are spacious and attractive. The pool is dreamy and a great way to end the work day. The walk to the beach is rough but if you have transportation, this apartment is amazing.
Great location and professional management, but no longer affordable.
We recently left Accent to move back to Colorado but we really enjoyed our time there. Such a great location, amenities are wonderful (when the pandemic isnt going on!) and friendly neighbors. The leasing staff, especially Veronica, were fantastic. If we end up moving back to LA we would absolutely check in and see if there are any units available at Accent. Best place to live on the West Side due to price, location, and what you get for the cost of living there is worth it.
They charge $150 per parking spot - not $50. They made this change in the middle of my lease and have no problem uncharging their residents with extra fees throughout your time living there. Building itself is nice but my trouble with the staff is unnecessary as I am a good tenant who has never received a complaint or paid anything late.
My move in was less than ideal upon moving in my rommate and I were getting bit by something we soon find out there had been fleas in the bedrooms from the previous tenant. So the first month was very unpleasant. The apt itself is nice but you can tell the finishes are very cheap (floor, cabinets) some of the kitchen cabinets are unusable because the size is so small it looks like it was built for looks. You can hear everything from your bedroom, the vents from the rooms go straight to the living room so you can hear and smell everything that is said or cooking in the kitchen, and I mean everything and vice versa. If you're in the living room/kitchen you can hear into the bedrooms. Also nto the master from the second room but my roommate says she can't hear me.We are lucky enough to not have very loud neighbors but can still hear every step they take. Pros: parking, garbage system, close to freeway. Basically don't live here unless you have no choice you can find better with the money you would spend
As others have stated this place is built extremely cheaply. The worst part about the cheap construction is there is literally zero soundproofing in between the apartments. You will hear every single footstep, every conversation, every time somebody uses the bathroom, etc. Management acts like they don't know that the issue exists or how severe it is. They pretend like they're going to actually do something about it but they just wait until you're driven crazy from being up all night every night and eventually move out. Do not move here if you value your sleep and your bank account. It's not worth it at all and there are better options; especially with the new apartments that they're building across the street.
Great looking units with high ceilings and modern appliances. The management filled the place in a few months and flipped it to another company to clean up any problems. My biggest issue of wanting to move is there is NO sound proofing. My husband and I can hear everything the other does in every room of the 2 bedroom. We also feel like we are living with the noisy college kids upstairs who are discovering partying for the 1st time away from home. I think they have a bowling alley up there too. At least we don't have our neighbors issue of hearing the next door neighbors bathroom sounds...
I am just starting my second year at Accent (Formally Millennium Del Rey), generally I would say this is a nice place to live. The apartments are nice, nice fixtures, the building is very new. Pool and fitness center are clean and nice. It's a little pricey, and sometimes some neighbors can be loud and inconsiderate, but they do have a courtesy patrol at night so that is nice. If you can afford the rent, i would recommend this place. It's also in a good location. Close to movie theater, restaurants, etc.
