Situated a few miles east of the Potomac River and the Virginia-Maryland state line, Waldorf is the epitome of a Maryland suburbia. With an abundance of shopping, residents have access to popular retailers like Macy’s, Target, and Best Buy, along with supermarkets, convenience stores, and local businesses. Say hello to shopping sprees!
Waldorf boasts spacious residential streets with upscale apartment rentals paired with a house and townhome rental here and there. This family-friendly community appreciates its small town charm and convenient amenities, not to mention the proximity to the nation’s capital. Washington D.C. is just 26 miles northwest of Waldorf, a huge perk for this city’s residents.
Back to fantastic shopping options: If there’s something unique on your list you just can’t find in town, travel over to D.C. and you’ll be sure to check off everything on your list! But while you’re there, make a few pit stops at national landmarks, museums, and local eateries.

Property Ratings at Adams Crossing
I just want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Adam Crossing Family. After living here for around eight years, I can honestly say my experience has been truly wonderful. A special thank you to Ms. Tenina your unwavering support and exceptional customer service have made a significant difference in my life. Your kindness and assistance have meant the world to me. Adam Crossing is more than just a place to live; it's a safe and nurturing community where I feel fortunate to raise my kids. Thank you all for everything you do!
I just love our home . Thanks to Mrs. Trina , this has been such a smooth process . I got on her LAST nerve , but she is really awesome . So patient , so nice . Works w/ youuuu . The area is cool . But again Mrs. Trina is the BEST .
I have friends that live across the street from this location. On two occasions young adults have been injured in that neighborhood. One toddler was shot accidental with his fathers gun, and another person was stabbed, and later died. This community set out signs upon entering the community that broadcast to the residents and anyone coming in that rent is either due or late, which I find to be a bit classless... for a luxury apartment complex. They do keep up maintenance with landscaping. Visitors are often parked outside the community along side the road because of parking in that neighborhood, and the residents who live in the apartments are often parking across the street in the town-home community directly across the street. From the outside it looks really nice, but since my friend has been living there and from what I've witness, I'm not sure I'd tell anyone about this place.
Adams Crossing apartments are beautiful and the amenities are great. I love my apartment black appliances, full size washer/dryer and the area is very quiet. The leasing office has 24 computer room and gym. Any family would love to call this place home.
Adams Crossing has come a long way since I moved here in December of 2014. There has been a several changes in management, but lately the newest property manager has been a complete success. The apartments are spacious and come fully equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher and up to date appliances in each unit. My only complaint would have to be the amount of kids that hang in the building and the trash that they leave sprawled throughout the neighborhood. I would suggest offering them a larger playground or designated area to go to.
I've been living here for 4 months and I haven't had any serious issues. Positives: This is a brand new apartment complex it's only 2yrs old! It's also next to an Elementary school and I think a high school. ALL of walking distance. There is a man made lake where you can make frogs as your pet! There is a whole sidewalk around the whole complex, many residents can be seen jogging. I'm use to no sounds and having a peaceful sleep. If this doesn't bother you the noises that are heard in the morning are by the grounds people or the garbage man. The garbage bins are place in different sections of the complex. Recently we had a flyer about if you see the trash is full to use another one. People are overflowing the trash bins and told what to do if that happens I thought that was common sense. In the afternoon children play at the playground or they are at the pool. You can hear your normal children playful screams and laughter. After a certain time at night, for the most part it's dead quiet. You may occasionally hear your neighbor talking on the phone on their porch. Or a couple of teenagers trying get a female's number. And it's so quiet you can hear everything. The neighborhood in general keeps to themselves, if you walk pass a resident they will give you a friendly greeting. Safety is good, you have a serious issue? We are right by a police station. The office staff are willing to help you with issues you might have and you can walk right to the office, which includes a lounging area with plenty of tables, chairs and t.v, (sometimes the office staff will bake treats)computer room, exercise room, outside there is a kiddies pool and a larger pool. You must have a pool pass which they give you. The negatives: You will have issues getting your cable/internet set up. Only, unfortunately Comcast is available for both. This is an income based apartment so they are strict on requirements but they aren't hard to pass. Once you are in you're in even if you make more money or win the lottery. The parking lot can sometimes get full quickly at night and on weekends it varies. They provide you with a parking sticker and one visitor pass. I never really had a big issue with finding a spot near my apartment only once after 10pm. So basically after most people have eaten dinner you might have an issue. I may be nitpicking but more parking could be nice or a parking section for just vistors? OH! Lastly it's pet friendly but your pet has to pay a rent fee also.
Pretty nice apartments. Common areas for tenants include swimming pool, fitness center, and Internet cafe. The actual apartments are very nice inside. The complex offers 2 and 3 bedroom apartment with 2 full bathrooms. Very modern looking inside and a great amount of space. Beautiful kitchens with new appliances. The downside is the trash. Not completely the apartments fault but the trash can overflow out the dumpsters and sit there got days in the hot sun which will likely attract rodents. Very unsanitary and a turnoff to apartment seekers.
I don't usually review things but I can give this a try. Around the beginning of 2015 I started looking for an apartment. My reasons were that I was getting married in May and it was time for me to get a place of my own. After searching around for a few weeks I stumbled upon Adams Crossing Apartments. It was a newly developed apartment community that was situated behind the local sheriff's office. My fiance and I instantly loved the place. We ended up applying for a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. After about a week we got approved and moved right in. Being that this is my first apartment I wasn't sure what to expect but I have adjusted to apartment life. There is 24 hour gym and Internet cafe free to all residents. There is also a pool that is free to all residents. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, especially being situated a quarter of a mile from the main road. A few cons about this place is that there isn't assigned parking so it leads to everyone parking in one location instead of spreading themselves out. Another is that when someone let's there door slam shut you can feel the vibrations. Other than that, this is a nice place to live and start a family. Apartments management is always friendly and the maintenance staff is timely to your request.
I went to tour Adams Crossing and was really impressed with how pretty it is. Everything is brand new and pretty high end, especially for Waldorf. I was sad to learn that I didn't qualify to live there because it's rent controlled and they have income restrictions on how much you can make. The staff was very nice and I would have signed a lease if I could.
I came by several times for a touring of the apartment and the only thing they had to show me was the amenities. The second time they also told me I didn't qualify. I ead really looking forward to waldorfrenting. Very disappointed!
