Adam’s Station Apartments – Disappointing Experience with a Few Bright Spots Our experience with Adam’s Station Apartments started smoothly but ended with frustration and disappointment. Here’s the breakdown: • Move-In Experience: Getting settled remotely from across state lines was straightforward, and we appreciated how easy they made the process. • Maintenance and Grounds: The grounds were well-maintained, and the community was clean, which gave a great first impression. We also had wonderful neighbors, which made living there pleasant. • Pool Issues: However, the pool was frequently closed due to staffing problems. If reliable amenities are important to you, be prepared for frustration. Now, here’s where things went wrong: • AC Problems: The air conditioning units couldn’t handle the summer heat, leaving us sweating through many uncomfortable nights. • Sketchy Deposit Handling: We take full responsibility for the $1,700 in damage caused by our dogs. However, instead of using the $1,500 pet deposit we paid for this exact situation, management withheld the amount from our general security deposit. This felt dishonest and raised concerns about how fairly they handle deposit returns. That said, there were a few other positive aspects of our stay. We rented month-to-month while house hunting, and although the rent was a bit higher for the flexibility, it seemed reasonable overall. They also connected us with a furniture rental company, which made our transition smooth—I’m writing a separate glowing review for that company because they were fantastic. In the end, we moved out after just three months, having purchased a home. While Adam’s Station has some appealing qualities, the frustrating experience with deposit handling and unreliable amenities would make us think twice before recommending it.
Very well maintained lawns and grounds, very fast with plowing and clearing walkways. Quick to respond to any issues you may have, though there were few. Office personnel, were always friendly and helpful. l would recommend renting here if you value a nice, safe, clean, comfortable apartment. We received our deposit back in a timely manner. Rate this place a 10 out of 10.
If you are on the first floor, you will never have peace. The grounds are beautiful around the clubhouse but near your units they will be mowed only. No trimming of bushes. The maintenance staff is very nice. The office not so much. Kiss your security goodbye pretty much. Mark every single thing on that sheet when you’re moving in. There will be a lot of small flaws and if you don’t have it on that sheet they’re going to nail you for it on your way out. It’s not the worst place in the world but the value for the rent is off base by a lot.

Living at Adams Station is the best of both worlds. While it is very close to city amrnities, it is nestled among mature trees which gives it a country feel. My apartment has a great back patio which overlooks a large grassy yard which abuts the woods. It is so peaceful. Management is very attentive and maintenance is the best. I do not have to call often, but when I do the response is quick and efficient. I find the neighbors friendly, yet not intrusive. This is a pet-friendly place and people are good about having pets on leash and picking up after them. Needless to say, I am happy here and have no reservations recommending Adams Station.

I've been here 11 years, and have no complaints at all. The apartments themselves are nice, but what I've always liked is how responsive the management has always been. If I call with anything at all (leaky faucet or something), they respond quickly and courteously. The pool is clean, they now have a community garden, and they're proactive when it comes to renovations. Great apartments, great location, and great management. After 11 years, I'm still very happy here. I highly recommend Adams Station Apartments.

Great location with lots of greens space. Plenty of parking. Walk to well maintained pool. Patio is private and we enjoy having a meal or just relaxing. We rarely hear neighbors. The kitchen is dated but I don't cook often. Quick response to maintenance requests.
