Property Ratings at Addison at Princeton Meadows
Cheap Materials in Apartment All of our kitchen drawers are falling apart, the handle to the bathroom keeps coming off despite maintenance fixing it, the washing machine leaves grey stains on all of our light colored clothes and they won't come out. There is constantly a leak underneath the kitchen sink which has caused mold and mildew to grow,. Our entire closet shelving fell off the wall because it was drilled into the drywall and not the studs. Even though the apartment is small, there is a radical difference in temperature between the bedroom and living room/kitchen area. For the amount of money we pay every month we expect much higher quality materials in our living space. Also, whenever there is a freeze, there is a dangerous amount of frozen water at the end of the sidewalk that NEVER gets salted and is just a an accident waiting to happen.
Cheryl I am extremely satisfy with the work that was done. The work was done on time A awesome Maintenance Departmeñt. I give a 5 .
I spoke with Susanna twice, each time the answers, understanding and information was extremely helpful. I never felt rushed as everything I needed or wanted to know was explained shared perfectly. In between I had another person named Matt and they too were very helpful.
It is newly renovated with nice finishings and the view is great from the backyard!! The appliances are nice too!
Issues after issues after issues. AC broke multiple times during summer. Mold in windows. Leaks under the sink. Kitchen cabinetry not properly installed. Shelving in closet fell off the wall. Very poorly constructed -- not surprised to find out KRE owns. The "fitness center" is tiny, dirty and machines are never repaired/cleaned. The pool seems to constantly be needing maintenance in the summer months. The only landscaping that is regularly maintained is around the entry signage. That being said, the people at the office are accommodating and friendly IF you can get them on the phone. Issues are resolved timely which is great but these are newly renovated apartments and shouldn't have so many problems.
The unit was decent, but the people below us smoked heavily, and we had a constant stream of second-hand smog coming out of the bathroom vent. I lived here the year KRE acquired the property. Before the acquisition, management was nice. I noticed the team after the acquisition were a bit rude. I noticed the behavior once on a trip to the leasing office, where they ignored an older gentlemen that had questions about his rent. Also, when I got a move-out inspection, I remember crying because I was having a bad day, and they laughed at my double coat of primer I put on the walls. My car broke down that day, so I ended up walking to the Home Depot for more paint to make the walls completely white. Overall, I enjoyed the peace and quiet, the work-out area, and valet trash. If it wasn't associated with KRE, I would consider renting again.
No answers for emails.no one cares your problems in your apartment.broken water heater in winter, out of order ac in summer, dirty pool, noise in early hours and so on.These are the things that I can summarize this complex.I am just waiting the end of my lease
I’ve have lived in this complex for over three years. During that time I’ve had a malfunctioning toilet that went unfixed for almost three weeks, during a snow storm nontheless, construction on units and industrial garbage removal at 6am on a Saturday morning, the front office staff is apprehensive at best, they seem not to take anything seriously, not what I was looking for in a rental.
Apartments are of terrible quality - spray-painted walls (look behind and around the lighting fixtures to see); broken heat and A/C for the duration of the year I rented there that they simply would not fix, no matter how often they were alerted to their brokenness; generally rude staff (with one exception); terrible quality carpets and hardwood; inefficient appliances that run your electric bill sky high; ancient windows and doors that are extremely dirty and worn (and the bedroom doors don't fit their frames!). Extremely overpriced. Maintenance staff the least knowledgeable I've ever seen. Last I heard most of the neighborhood was packing up and moving out. Wouldn't consider even if they dropped their prices through the floor. Avoid at all costs!

I have called this place 3 times with interest in their community. No one picks up the phone and no one bothers to return my call. Guess they don't want us living there. That is a very poor first impression for me.
I moved in last spring. Right away my hot water heater blew. It happens, they replaced it pretty quick. However there was water damage and they never fixed it. Then the central air started leaking a month or two later causing further water damage. I was told I was running it too much and it was just condensation. My father-in-law is an HVAC engineer who said that was ridiculous. I opened another ticket and they left a note they had fixed it but it was still leaking. I opened another ticket and they sent out a real HVAC person who found a clog in the line. They never fixed the water damage and they combined my tickets, I guess so their service record looks better. A year later the AC stops working again. I open a ticket and over a week goes by with no response. I called and I was told that there were no available AC units and I had to go the whole weekend with no AC. I go online and they closed the service ticket saying the work was complete, even though no one had come to the Apartment yet. 10 Day to add coolant to my AC. On Saturday a breaker goes so I called the emergency number and was told there is one guy who knows how to replace it and he will come by on Monday. They also said that no electricians can come on the weekends. A few hours later there is a loud crash above my bedroom and a screw and chunk of plaster are now hanging from the ceiling. I call the office again, I doubt the two things are related but it feels like it may be an emergency since it seems there is structural damage. She says she'll call maintenance and big surprise no one ever came. The office is open until 6 I called at 5:45 and no one answered. They charge for this service that comes to pick up your garbage daily, this in not an option. You put your garbage in this can by your door, they take it. They used to come 5 nights a week. Once we had a lot of cardboard. The guy knocks on my door and says I have to break it all down. It was except for one box. He tells me it is too much for him to take and he won't take it. They have left my recycling sitting there for over a week before. They raised it to $30 a month when I renewed my lease. One day they left all my garbage on the sidewalk, the squirrels got into it, I cleaned it all up. Now there are weeks they only come twice, or just skip our building I can't be sure. One time they didn't come for almost a week. I don't mind taking my own garbage to the dumpster and I don't mind paying for the service, but both?
No one respond. Even if maintenance comes they wont do a good job, they will say that this is the best that they could do. My apartment tub is not draining, it is not draining till now I have been in this apartment almost two month.
The property manager is very NASTY AND RUDE. I went days in the winter without heat and summer with out air. Your PSEG bill will be so high because everything is electric and the appliances here are inefficient appliances. When you call for maintenance to come out they don't fix anything correctly. You have to pay a $20 fee for trash because they have someone come around at night to collect the trash from your door. I can take my own trash to the dumpster. The windows in the apartment a so old and in the winter a lot of air come through them. Every time you call the office about an issue and ask for the property manager she will never come to the phone. She will call you back at 5pm because she's walking out the door. I have stayed in other properties in the area and never had issues like this. They want to to pay high rent but don't treat their tenants live they should. This property shouldn't get a star at all.
DO NOT LIVE HERE! They lure you in with SLIGHTLY cheaper rent than the surrounding communities in Plainsboro, however it's not worth it. I should have been deterred away in the beginning when I signed a lease for one apartment and got called the next day to be told that apartment was no longer available and they offered me an "upgraded" unit for a slightly cheaper price to make up for THEIR mistake. It was slightly cheaper than the other complexes and I thought upgraded sounded good, but when I got the apartment, I have had SO many problems. The apartments are entirely electric. I was paying roughly $60 in the winter at my old complex on Plainsboro Road, but here I pay almost $300 because of the inefficient appliances and window fixtures. Secondly, my air conditioner broke. Fine, but when it takes 2 weeks to even get a response from maintenance, then to be told another week to fix it, another two weeks go by? I have asthma, and I don't appreciate them dragging their feet on that issue. Then, as someone else reviewed, they decided to slap on a $25/moth TRASH fee? What even is that? You apparently don't even have the option to decline it and take care of the trash yourself which is absolutely ridiculous. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

I apologize that you feel that way. We have absolutely had some maintenance issues in the past and have worked very hard to correct those. I would like to speak with you further to understand more of your concerns so that we can improve your stay here at Addison. If you are available today, please give me a call at the office or stop by.
The apartments looks beautiful on the outside and the ammenties are great its in a great location but the building is old and falling apart on the inside and they used the wrong material for the decks and there's drafts throughout the place they use very cheap paint and floor tile and other materis weren't put together correctly and I have water and mold in my walls. Air condition unit floods the hall way and they refuse to put down new carpet and refuse to put the carpet down correctlynot to mention the fact that you'll pay more in electric here than a 4 bedroom house . maintenance has taken months and years to fix things rite now i still have a broken washer.there's so much more I could write but just to give you an idea for the most part.

Please give me a call as soon as possible if these issues have not been addressed so that we can get any maintenance concerns you have squared away immediately.
I have stayed here during 2014 and we were happy during our stay here. Maintenance was good, grounds were kept very well. Next to golf course. plenty of parking. Gym and almost every unit is upgraded with nice appliances. Never forget the rent, highly competitive and flexible leasing terms in such a nice school district.
