There are roaches everywhere. I see and have to kill them almost every day. Sometimes when I try to kill them they are too fast and are able to crawl up a crack in my apartment for me to have to deal with them later. It's disgusting and management won't let you break your lease, this company just wants your money they don't care about resolving your problems!

We moved in to a newly renovated unit a couple of months ago and the entire experience has been easy like Sunday morning! The move in process was just like spreading butter on toast and maintenance is A plus plus plus. We have only had one issue with an appliance malfunctioning and it was fixed immediately! We are plum tickled to be new residents of Addison and cannot wait to share with friends!

This is my 4th year at Addison at Wyndham & up until now I was satisfied. This year my rent was increased by $300. 00 a month. I felt this was outrageous and when I inquired I was told that it was in line with properties in the area. My real issue is that the other units have all new kitchens and bathrooms and mine is aged and I felt that at the very least give that some consideration and make some adjustment on increase. I was given a stiff "NO". I'm disappointed and would suggest to newcomers buy a home if you are in a position.

When I first moved to Virginia from North Suburb of Chicago, I was not aware what side of town was equivalent to where I lived, until I lucked up on this property having all the amenities I was accustomed to. I was met by Bradley who gave me a tour and was very pleasant. I was excited and pleased and have been here ever since 2020. The pool and gym impressed me how clean and organized. I HAVE NOT seen any unwanted pest since I have resided here.

I have had several interactions with the Addison staff ahead of my occupancy in July (2022). These interactions have been incredibly positive and encouraging. Especially helpful and accommodating have been Bradley, Caroline, and Samantha. I am looking forward to moving it next month.

My wife and I moved from CO to VA and signed this lease sight unseen. We went in extremely optimistic and excited to be back in the greater Richmond area. Thank goodness for their 14 day "satisfaction guarantee" that allows you to break the lease (they still keep any fees, apparently), but always nice to start with the good part. Bradley seemed nice and accommodating, initially- even offering to let us move in a day early as it was more convenient for our long travel schedule. However, despite verifying everything would be ready for us to move in three times, including the day of, we arrived and the apartment hadn't even been looked at by maintenance or Bradley. Huh. I'll try to keep this short- after the 2 hour wait, the apartment was: not cleaned (during covid, yikes) while we waited for it to be "ready" they painted it, but showers/sinks/bathrooms etc were left untouched, or in this case, very touched- so we could not sleep in the apartment and had to stay with friends (smell lasted 2 days- probably longer, but on the morning of day 3 we broke the lease, thankfully). The NOISE - you can hear EVERYTHING: above you, beneath you, on both sides- you don't have to meet your neighbors to get familiar, trust me. The back door wouldn't open, so we called maintenance- they came and took our key, left- and then the backdoor wouldn't shut. Comical. So day 1 of our lease, we just sat in our camping chairs for a few hours with the backdoor ajar until on the third phone call to maintenance, we were finally brought a key. On the above, we were offered no apology- when I told them we would be moving out, after having literally spent a grand total of 12 hours in the place (due to the paint smell and noise, both making it close to impossible to work from home) I listened as the property manager scoffed at my ask for our pet fee back- but I guess that 1/2 day our dog spent in there was really meaningful. Being treated as if it had been our desire to drive 26 hours, move into an apartment, and then have to instantly find another place to live, pay another deposit, set up utilities etc, just to allow for a place to work/stay was our initial intention, is wild to me. Today, I tried to pick up the mail and asked when would be convenient to come get it, Bradley confirmed it would work just fine to pick it up in 5 mins- I arrived within 5 mins and he said "Oh doing a tour, can't help right now" paying me no mind as if I hadn't just confirmed this. I recently applied for a 1BR apt at the property. After signing my lease on my apt of choice, I had to change me move-in date to an earlier date which also meant selecting a different available unit. I spoke with Bradley who was completely understanding and absolutely re-assuring that it wouldn’t be an issue. He told me what was available which closely matched my original style/view preference. It was an easy adjustment

I’ll be signing my lease for third year here at Addison! Love it here! I love the office staff. I love the maintenance crew. No issues whatsoever! I’ve spoken with Bradley in the office and he is amazing ! I’m happy to be here at Addison and not anticipating leaving any time soon property is well Maintained

I came here to check out the complex and take a tour. I was greeted by Anita and she was awesome. She took me on a tour and answered all my questions. I came back the next day to ask a couple more questions and was greeted by other friendly staff. Ultimately I applied and will be moving in soon. Over the past month, I have looked at a lot of complexes on the west side of Richmond and I chose Addison at Wyndham.

We lived at Addison at Wyndham for a few years and recently moved out. We had an overall good experience. It's in a good area- close to Short Pump for shopping and groceries. Good school district if you have kids. The apartment building we lived in had a ton of kids living there and they were loud often running through the breezeways playing tag so that was something that we didn't like. It had previously been a smoking apartment when we moved in so the day we opened the door it smelled like cigarettes - they've changed all of the apartments to no smoking after that but there was always a funky smell from the carpet because of that. We had a one bedroom and the living room was shaped super weird - long and rectangular - hard to fit a big couch. The closet in the one bedroom is TINY! If one person lives there i'm sure it's be doable but for two people it didn't work at all! One big con for us was after move out they charged us over $500 for "damages". We took care of our apartment and deep cleaned once a week so I was shocked when I saw it. One charge was for "rust on light fixture" so it seemed as if they were pulling at anything they could to add as many "damages" as possible. I called and resolved it but that was something that turned us off since we've lived in plenty of apartments/houses and had never had damages. That was the biggest issue we had but other than that we have a good experience! I'd recommend living there more so if you have kids not for younger adults! Pros: updated appliances maintenance is quick to fix no major problems with the apartment near grocery store & shops staff is nice and super helpful pool & leasing office have been updated trails & library & park within walking distance Cons: closet size- so small loud little yippy dogs loud kids running through breezeways smelled like cigarettes carpet was old shape of 1 bedroom apartment they pull at anything they can for "damages" after move out

The first month I moved in I was met with a water leak, the first of two major leaks. Maintenance requests were the theme in my experience. I had rotted carpet padding in every room, yet they did not replace the carpet on my moving out - I know because they charged me for stains, to the tune of 200 dollars. Chem dry could've removed them for $99, for sure. They come after your wallets for sure! I lived in Addison at Wyndham for 24 months and had over 30 maintenance requests. In that time, my rent increased over 300 dollars. The return for the HVAC unit came off the wall and almost injured my young son. Worst of all a water leak went on for 3 days, because they were not vigilant enough to find it. There were commercial fans and humidifiers running for days. They did not pick up the additional cost for electricity, even after providing proof. Beware! There are far better residences in the area.

Any move-out charges are based on estimates and suggestions from professional service providers. In this particular case, the carpet was stained to the point where it could not be cleaned and had to be replaced. In addition, our team did take into account the fans which were running in your apartment home and how that would affect your electricity bill. Upon further examination, it was determined that the charges were not out of the ordinary in comparison to previous months. I am a single 60 year old woman. In January I sold a house I had lived in for 15 years and moved to my apartment with great trepidation. My fears were unfounded. The apartment is great, clean, quiet, attractive. The grounds are wonderful for walking and walking my dog. I have a park-like view out my window. The staff were very welcoming and always helpful. I can walk to a strip mall with restaurants, grocery store, liquor store and small craft beer place. There is an attractive pool area and a small gym for residents. Great for my dog with a small fenced in dog park. I would recommend it to anyone interested in making the jump from house to apartment.
