Property Ratings at Adeline at White Oak
The WORST apartment complex ever. They literally lie to your face about everything. If you have a maintenance problem, you might as well fix it yourself. I was without A/C for several months & they continuously lied to me about when it would be fixed. Don’t waste your money. This is not “luxury living”. It is cheap & you will not get your money’s worth. On top of that, no one is ever in the office to answer calls of tenants or to work. It seems like a joke.

I normally don't do reviews but, thought that I should take a moment to write this. Being a tenant here has been amazing. This is a safe and very clean community. I am raising three children here and they love it as well. The amenities are amazing! Kathy, the property manager is always there when I have an issue. She has shown great customer service and does her very best to make this a great place to stay.

I lived at Adeline for almost 2 years. Besides the gate never working and me paying for a gated community; them not being flexible or accommodating residents during the wake pandemic, I had no other complaints. Until I moved out. I moved out at the end of July. On August 2nd, I was sent a move out summary via email with incorrect charges. I went to the leasing office and was told they would send me an updated summary. 2 months go by, I hear nothing from Adeline. I get a phone call from a debt collection agency saying Adeline is requesting I pay $400 more than what was on my original move out summary. I went back to the leasing office to be told I’m being charged for a carpet that was not beyond normal wear and tear, but simply because a carpet’s life expectancy is 5 years, and I moved out in 2 (none of which is on my leasing agreement). Meanwhile, I still have not received a SINGLE email from Adeline. Be mindful that they have me and my husband’s emails and phone numbers on file. We also NEVER missed an email in the almost 2 years we were there, but we just so happened to not get this “new” move out summary before they decided to send it to collections. Still no remorse and/or accountability on Adeline’s part for the miscommunication. In this time, I have contacted the renters commission, the district manager, and the property manager. The district manager played phone tag with me for 2 weeks and offered no apology or solution. The property manager has yet to email me back answering my inquiries, 3 weeks later. The renters commission cannot do anything because Adeline is not licensed with them. And on today, this payment hit my credit score, something Adeline reassured me wouldn’t happen. I consistently paid every bill on time, even through the pandemic. I am disappointed in how Adeline is handling my concerns and even more disappointed in the how unjust and unfair this is to the resident. Whatever you do, don’t let those amenities draw you in! They are beyond unprofessional and not worth the headache.

I am making a quick move from out of state. I found this property and called and they gave me a tour right when I got there. Ebony showed my friend and I around and helped me choose the perfect apartment. I am still going through the application process and so far everyone has been super helpful, responsive, and nice. I hope I get the chance to live here because the staff and property is amazing. Not to mention there is a floor plan for any kind of need you could want.

I was very excited to move into this neighborhood. However, that feeling suddenly changed. 1. This property has a high turnover rate with mgmt and staff. 2. The current staff is understaffed so you do not get the service needed. 3. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything in other apartments. Which for the price of the property you would expect it to be a little more sound proof. 4. The rent increased significantly. 5. The parking is ridiculously and they do not have many visitor parking. Which I never knew they even had because I never saw them or was explained where they are located. 6. They only give you one parking decal so if you have multiple cars you have to parking in a visitor spot or at the office. Good luck.

this place is like living in a prison every little thing is an issue. they attach fines on your account with no regards of informing you what they are for! its no peace at the property when it comes to staff! they treat you like your'e not welcomed in your own community where you pay rent at! the walls are paper thin so 1 little noise is a complaint! they list the units at one price then as you're signing the lease you are bombarded with several hidden fees! they make you pay fees to access amenities when that should be what you're rent is covering in the first place!! the size of the units are awesome the value of them are not!! you do not want to live in this neighborhood! parking is ridiculous you have to walk thru multiple parking lots just to get to your building! the lady in the office is very unprofessional she discusses other tenants personal info with other residents its just a mess

We have been living here for going on three years as a family and been very happy with everything that is offered here. Safe family walks, a sense of community, the maintenance staff has been amazing about everything, and the ladies in the office are the best! Very happy with our decision to live here for a couple years until we find a home suitable for our family. You won't be disappointed!

The experience thus far with Adeline at White Oak has been AMAZING! The entire staff has went above and beyond in our leasing process. Jessica the assistant manager took me and my roommate on our second tour and oh my gosh she is fantastic! Very personable and went above and beyond for us. We had a lot of questions and she took her time to answer them. We took up so much of her time with our questions and she was not even bothered. She also has stayed in contact with us every step of the way and it is very comforting knowing she cares about her residents. Ebony also took me on a tour (yes I've been there multiple times lol) and she is so knowledgeable and professional. I also met Kimberly the property manager and she was extremely friendly. I am so impressed with the staff here and cannot wait until I am an official resident.
