Dubbed “the Heart of Georgia” due to its central location and Southern hospitality, Macon is approximately 90 minutes south of Atlanta. Recognized for its renowned musical history, Macon is the location where many artists like the Allman Brothers Band and Jason Aldean got their big break. After all, Macon is the city “where soul lives.”
Just like its passion for music, Macon believes in top-notch education. This city is home to a number of college campuses, including Mercer University and Middle Georgia State University. This family-friendly city boasts excellent public schools as well. Residents and visitors alike adore Downtown Macon for its small businesses and historic sites including restaurants, services, and specialty shops like Parish on Cherry, serving up the best gumbo in the city.
The Big House is a major attraction that celebrates the musical career of the Allman Brothers Band, while the Hay House and Cannonball House represent the city’s architectural history.

Property Ratings at Adrian on Riverside
This place seems great at first and at a very reasonable price. However, it is basically impossible to get maintenance to fix anything or for the leasing office to respond with anything meaningful. Mailbox has been broken since before move-in. Front gate has been broken for a long time. The pool didn’t work all summer. The sauna is broken. The gym is dirty and machines are broken. The common areas are grody and trash littered about. The only good thing I can say about this place is that it is quiet.
The pool hasnt been open either of the two years ive lived here, they change management every 2 months, the gates havent worked the entire 2 years ive lived here constant car break ins, there is a mile high mountain of garbage by the dumpster they never address- (there is a 13wmaz article on it) i could keep going but this should be enough in it self. They havnt been remodeled in 30 years and are charging prices brand new apartments are charging, go to bowman station or luxe if your shopping for apartments in north macon
I strongly recommend that you DO NOT rent from this company. I have been living without A/C now for 105 days in the middle of a Georgia summer. It is over 100 degrees inside the apartment. It is so hot that the flooring is coming up. The flooring company came out to repair the flooring but stated that it will continue to come up as long as the heat continues to rise. I notified the apartment manager and the maintenance supervisor several times but they both did not remedy the situation and they both were fired in the course of me trying to get the situation rectified. I have since put in multiple maintenance requests, emails to the regional manager, emails to corporate, and calls to the office with no response. Also the pool is not an amenity that you will be able to use either. It’s the middle of July and our pool is still closed. The gates have been broken since I moved in with several car break-ins on a weekly basis. The garbage company only picks up the valet trash when they feel like it. I have requested refunds for days missed and the Trash Valet Company will never issue a refund for days that it wasn’t picked up. You have to pay $2 every month just to pay your rent. You have to pay it online and this fee is not avoidable. Also any good reviews on here are probably because they try and offer us a possibility of getting $1000 towards our rent if we leave a review.
We've been residents for almost a year and have just renewed for another 10 months. Love the resort feel and excellent staff.

Thank you for your stellar review of our community and for highlighting our incredible team! If you have any further feedback, please let us know. We appreciate hearing from our residents. Sincerely, Adrian on Riverside Team
Beautiful grounds when nature doesn't take over with the pollen. ?? The office staff are wonderful and very polite. We LOVE our maintenance guys! It's very quite in our area so there isn't a big party scene. (that we know of) To get the point across, we LOVE Adrian on the Riverside. Only downfall is the school, if you can, put your children in Springdale and fight the board if they refuse. Lane is awful. But DON'T let that deter you from renting here!!

We've been at Adrian for several months now. There are definitely some things we would change, but Lindsey at the leasing office has been wonderful to deal with. She's very professional, knowledgeable, and her follow up skills are excellent. When she says she'll take care of something, she gets it done. Highly recommended!

Drove 2h from Atlanta today to view the apartments. Entered the leasing office, the leasing agent didn't greet us, but instead said "I'm about to show an apartment to them (another couple) and I have to lock up". So we leIt. Came back, my boyfriend waved to acknowledge our presence as she was on the phone, she looked up and went back to her business. We sat down and waited... It had rained 2h prior and it was sunny afterward. She told us she could not show us the apartment because of "wet ground". It was dry outside, and hot. That complex was #1 on my list. I crossed it out.

If you want a place that handles business professionally, this is not the place for you. From the beginning, I knew it was going to be a long marriage. My problem (and I admit it was partly on me) was that I did not tour the apartment and my room before I signed the contract. I worked six days/week during that time and was only off on Sunday, which was a day the office at Adrian happen to be closed. But because I was rushing to find a place to relocate to work, I chose this one mainly due to location and appearance on outside. When I inspected my apt, everything was okay except for the restroom. Someone left a #2 in the toilet bowl and mold was growing inside. There is a puddle of water (or urine) around the base. I notified the lady at the office and she said they are going to fix it. However, she did not apologize for the incident. I decided to not spend the room the first few days and had to commute 1.5 hrs to work. When I came back, the toilet was not fixed. I expressed my concern with the manager, who also did not apologize but she said she will have someone take care of it ASAP. I told them that I would rather cancel the lease. She immediately told me that "nothing makes you happy and that you were unhappy from the beginning about the lengthy contract." (And btw, their contract is 65 pages of unbelievable, petty things. Ask to read it before you sign. They make you pay for every little thing). Anyway, I smiled at her ridiculous accusation which led her to claim my smile was disrespectful to her. SAY WHAT?? I told her "I think you are confused on who the disrespectful person is." So I called her superior and addressed my concern. I don't know if anything was done about it, but they told me they will get someone to fix/replace the toilet soon, which in their book meant 3 weeks later. I put my 2-month notice after living there for 2 months. I had to pay an extra 2 month rent but I found anotherplace that was cheaper, cleaner, and more professional. GOOD RIDDANCE

Hi, Alena. While we appreciate feedback, we are disappointed in your experience here at Adrian on Riverside. Our staff works hard to provide the best possible service and we apologize if we missed the mark this time. This is not typical of our community and we hope to one day change your mind. We wish you the best. - The Management Team at Adrian on Riverside
Staff is rude and violating the laws of their own lease terms, if you need to move at the time when your lease expires, they still charge you two months rent even you give them 30 day notice as per georgia law and lease agreement that they provided, worst apartment living experience we have, i would never recommend anyone living here, coz even my lease expires, i still end up paying them two and half month of rent. i could have gave them 0 stars if i would have the choice. Also, apartment living experience is worst too as there apartments are full of mold and big cockroaches, even when you go pool area and walk in the apartment comunity, you ll find big cockroaches
The staff is not professional in the least bit. Every time you call, no one knows what is going on, always say they'll call back, and they never do. Make sure you go in 60 days before you move out to fill out a "form" letting them know you aren't renewing your lease, and by form, I mean a blank sheet of printer paper. It'll take at least 2 months to get security deposit back after they lose it a couple times. Highly NOT recommended.
We applied to Adrian late on a Saturday afternoon and paid a $100 hold fee to have an apartment held for us. Adrian uses a third party credit verification system, and that system came back with erroneous information on our account. Instead of giving us 24 business hours to find out what the problem was (again, it wasn't our fault, but an error made by a third party credit check vendor), they gave the apartment to someone else! If you pay $100 in advance to hold the apartment, they should at least talk to you in person before passing you by for the next in line. After all, a mistake could have been made somewhere down the line! We found this practice to be dishonest and discourteous. We will not be renting here!
This is the perfect apartment complex which is perfectly located in the heart of all Macon's growth. Situated right beside the Shoppes at River Crossing, you have easy access to the interstate which will allow you entrance to downtown Macon in less than ten minutes for dinner at Downtown Grill, The Rookery, or any other restaurants that Macon offers. The complex provides a luxurious pool with it's own infinity fountain, which is perfect for a great afternoon get together with the family since Adrian supplies the pool's patio with a great grill. If swimming isn't your thing, the Adrian's clubhouse, which overlooks the pool, has its very own pool table, theater room with great theater seats and a pristine surround sound system which is great for a movie night or game day. For those who want to remain active, walk over to the gym inside the clubhouse and enjoy your very own weights and treadmills, finishing with a relaxing time in the dry heat sauna. Adrian takes care of its beautiful lawn maintenance, and keeps the community pond looking fresh and clean year round. You'll never have a reason to be bored while at the Adrian Apartments.
