Property Ratings at Advenir at Cherry Creek North
This property has had multiple property managers come and go and ever since Valerie the current manager has stepped in I’ve seen a lot of turn around. I lived here almost 5 years and by far I’ve seen the lost change with this set of staff. Previously it’s like they were hiring just anyone to work. But now David and they have a new guy named Jimmy get work orders complete when I request them and the office always answers the phone. Every time you call either Rafael or Mayra pick up and it’s just great now to finally get answers
Ever since they got this lost recent management. They have become waaaaaaayyyy better. And I’m not even kidding. All the way down to the maintenance. They have improved. I do recommend living here as it’s affordable and is definitely a nice place in Denver area wise.
Worst place I’ve ever lived. Signed a year lease on the last month paid what I owed and after I moved out on top of my deposit they said I still owed more for something like not paying utilities the first month. That would be there fault if I didn’t pay anything I pay everything off on the first all at once every month. Then the fees for like cleaning refrigerator or cleaning oven or pest control. I had pest control I don’t know how many times and every time I still had roaches. Ya cockroaches everywhere!!! Threw away so much food it was ridiculous. When you move the fridge there are roaches everywhere!!! They are in the oven!! And in the refrigerator!!! So charging me did nothing the place is disgusting no matter how clean you are. The office is awful! You want a package? Good luck. You can only pick up packages during certain hours and same with the mail. The mail was outside and open whenever you wanted to check then they moved it inside and is only open when the office is open. Every time you call no one ever answers or returns your calls. The laundry is disgusting always broken or people are always using it and leaving there things. The neighborhood is okay some of the people are loud fight all night no consideration. Wouldn’t recommend living here if it was your last resort.
Stay away from this property at all costs! I was scheduled to move in today and come to find out my apartment was "DOUBLE BOOKED" and no longer available. Mind you, I was supposed to move in TODAY and pick up my keys! I was sent a lease to sign several times and had remained in constant contact with this property. I am truly discusted with the incompetence of the office staff. STAY AWAY
This is not long enough to really get into it. just believe me when I say to look elsewhere. Staff EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. The worst one there is the manager.
Roaches, rats, bugs, A/C unit (including heat) has been broken for 4 months. Health department has been contacted about this place A LOT. Break-in's, hallways smell so bad! Front doors aren't even sealed the correct way and the smell comes into your home.. office staff are rude and don't seem to care. Do NOT rent here.
Make sure to save some extra cash before moving in you'll need it to cover all the flood damages! Be ready for maintenance to mark your work orders "complete" without ever showing up (document). Also, bring a stick 3-5 feet in length to run off the homeless in sleeping in your hallways, I use a pocketknife but something blunt will do. Throw away the building keys they give you, the locks don't work anyways! ABOVE ALL ENJOY THE BASS FROM 1-5AM! ?? The 3rd floor rave is once a week minimum.
You will have massive leaks constantly that will ruin your furniture or anything on the floors. Toilet has been broken since I moved in, sink leaks constantly. If you have any maintenance issue it will never get fixed. I have gone to talk to management in person almost 10 times now and all you will get is "we'll get back to you" then never hear from them again. You will spend extra bills for all the leaks and your time and headaches you'll spend cleaning it all up.
You want a place that you will get charged 1000? and you still sleep in a building with homeless people? that's the place for you! The place is full of rats, needles, and management that do not not care. Management have been changed 4 times since I lived here. I lived here for more than a year and a few times I haven't had water for days or hot water.
They sent me to collections for 4,000$ after I left. Realistically, I left a few cigarette burns in the living room and left my matress and some clothes in there that they had to move out but they spared me no expence at some normal tear and wear. Will do the same to you! Completely screwed me still paying for it to this day, schister city! Don't go here!
Place exceeded my initial expectations , not a bad place to live. Have not noticed any infestation problems and I am a very germaphobic guy. Part of the reason I chose to move to Advenir at Cherry Creek North was because I had to relocate quick for a job and they handled business at a fast enough pace for me from the ones I narrowed down and in turn helped my relocation to another state a little less hectic because there were many other decisions I had to make that relied on first me figuring out exactly where I am going to live.
I have live at this property for only 3 months now and let me tell you everything wrong with this place. 1. They have cockroaches - it's a unknown issues and the apartment complex makes YOU pay for it. Even those THEY neglected to tell you abt it. 2. Their "maintenance" people are a joke. I have 3 maintenance tickets in for them to fix my apartment, I have called 4x and left message (which non are never returned). I can no longer use my sink anymore because water is coming is spewing under the sink. This leak leaves puddles if water all of my kitchen floor. I have a constant water flow coming from my bathtub with hot hot hot water. 3. The staff is nonresponsive, rude and do not know what they're doing. You can 3 different people the same question and they will all give you a different answer. 4. There vomit in the hallway if my building that has been there for 3 weeks now. They've had a "cleaning crew" to vacuum the carpets in the hallway but that's about it. I've spoken to the same lady 3x times.. each time she takes down my information and says she going to put "my workorder at the top of the list" and yet I come home everyday to broken things all around this apartment. This apartment complex want to take you're money but does not feel they should hold up their end of the lease. I have refused to pay rent next month until this issue is figured out. Between the heat always going out, the cockroaches and other bugs, the maintenance never coming and the incompetent staff that works here, I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and FIND SOME PLACE ELSE. Do not make the same mistake I made and sign a lease you're stuck in for the time being.
Roaches, Rats, Mold, Bleeding walls, maintenance never responded when my door knob fell off....you learn how to fix your own apartment, then my apartment flooded twice! Rising rent I'd rather live anywhere else. I have many pictures as proof.
As a current resident at Advenir at Cherry Creek North, I would like to communicate to anyone looking to move here to avoid at all costs. Within the 8 months we have lived here, we have been forced to submit 28 maintenance requests, most of which have been ignored. We have been without a consistently working A/C unit for 68 days. I have now had to call the police 4 times, once due to an intruder that was able to make it into the building due to illegal outer doors that do not lock. Water has been shut off several times a month with no warning or with a written warning about shut offs happening during certain hours or days and the shut off actually extended to twice the predetermined length specified. Since we sent in our cancellation notice that we will not be renewing after our 9 month lease and we have been vocal about our reviews and spoken about seeking legal aid in regards to their alleged illegal actions, we have not received a call back, email, or maintenance help for the last 4 requests. Do not move here. If you are a resident, please join me in getting this place shut down.
They make sure the grounds look nice and their leasing office isn’t bad looking. BUT the apartments and the buildings are horrible. Roach infestation, smoke alarms were missing, stolen packages, stolen mail, unresponsive maintenance staff. PLEASE ask tenants questions when you come to visit. Take notice of the things that happen in the leasing office. That’s the first stop to your disappointment. The apartments also aren’t as pictured. The handy work is absolutely atrocious!
I have a leaking air conditioner with mold on the walls and no one has come to fix it. All they care about is you paying the rent. I cant wait to move out of here.
Firstly, I want to say I’ve never written an apartment review before, so bare with me. I have lived in countless apartments in my life, from NY to CA to now CO, and amidst all of my experiences in these living situations, this was the WORST, by a long shot. I have never felt so underappreciated and disrespected by a management company in my life. Naivety played a big part into moving here in the first place, but even the most positive people will be disappointed living here. Apparently this website doesn’t allow for personal experiences, so I’ll only say one thing - if you enjoy cockroaches, don’t hesitate to move in! I cannot stress enough that renting at ACCN will be the biggest mistake in your rental career.
They should put Yellow Caution Tape all over these buildings. Every employee is very unprofessional. They are all ignorant and some don't even understand English. Every employee there is incompetent and is only nice to the new leasees who are moving in. When you start bringing up issues or problems, they begin to roll their eyes and will NOT help in any way. The rent may be affordable, but at the end of each month, there are fees that are tacked on that can't even be shown for on the property. The CAM (community area maintenance) is inconsistent and still charged the most every single month. This area is not safe to put your cars outside, there are no cameras, there is hardly any maintenance, and if it's not an emergency, the maintenance will NOT get it completed. They are supposed to put notice that they have entered in your premises and they neglect to do so. It is very sad to see that the corporate does not care about their property and only cares about the money. They continue to paint over the exterior, but neglect to put money into the interior of the homes so you can live comfortably. It may look decent in the interior if you get the "remodeled apartments, but don't be fooled, the floor boards are uneven, the doors don't close correctly, the cupboards constantly come off the railing, the air circulation is inadequate, the sinks leak, the showers leak... that is just to say the least of the interior. Not only that, you can't control your own temperature in your OWN apartment!! With Colorado having such unpredictable weather, if there is a hot summer like day in October, forget about turning on your air conditioner, it will not work. If the you have a freezing cold day in June the heater will barely warm up.
The first review with 5 stars was written by an employee. The manager and staff is horrible. Mice and roach infestation is running rampant. No adequate heat. Rarely, there is running water. This place should be inspected by the City. It should be deemed unliveable and condemned. Mold is everywhere and ceilings are crashing. This is the worst place on earth.
The matenance staff is short handed so its hard to get things fixed. They have a infestation of mice and roaches if you live on the first floor and it floods the water will seep into your carpets they also have poor plumbing i dont recommend moving here.
Short notice of new ownership and short notice of changes. Notice of repairments are delay.Moving asap.Highly unsatisfied.
No notice of online automatic payments stopping, no notice of ownership change till after rent due and automatic online payments stopped. Then renters are subjected to late fees when it's NEW OWNERS DUE DILIGENCE to allow their tenants to know of such changes. Moving asap.
Was nice at one time until they started allowing anyone to move in. Maintenance repairs are not timely
The villas at Parker is located on the border of Denver and Aurora, so as far as location goes, you're in a good spot. Less than 30 minutes from Downtown (if you take Quebec to 8th going west) and located right next to a public transit pickup if needed. The grounds themselves are kept clean and lush, and there's a nice playground and a well cleaned pool as to boot! Also, being the last complex in a line of apartments along Parker Rd., you'll actually be able to have peace and quiet here (something I was happy to find after living downtown). Only thing to look out for is payments and due dates. If you end up passing the deadline, they'll make you pay for it. All in all though, this is a wonderful apartment home.
Compared to other apartments visited, the staff was very pleasant. Just was not sure about the area. Overall impression, good.
These were very nice but they just didn't have what I needed right away so I ended up going to a different place.
I had a birds nest in between the walls of my living room and the outside walls, a hornets nest outside my window, and mice in the building. I left several voicemails, came in to the office and spoke with 3 different office employees and only the birds nest after 2 months of calling was taken care of. Not to mention the rats that live around the complex. I had water damage from the leaking air conditioner that again, after leaving several voicemails, going into the office, talking to several of the office staff over the course of 2 weeks and it still took a month for them to fix the water leaking into the apartment. My final bill had a $238 charge that no-one there can tell me what is for.along with unnecessarly inflated charges like $20 for lightbulbs- $20 for an un-broken shower rack The Manager is horrible, does not instruct her staff correctly or provide them with the correct information, changes policies without providing 24-48 hour notice-whenever a policy was changed and notice was given it was under 4 business hours. I would pay rent in full and then receive notice that it was not paid only to go back and have them apologize which happened SEVERAL TIMES. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE DONT MOVE HERE DONT SIGN HERE DONT RECOMMEND HERE DONT DO IT!!!
I've lived in apartments with my family off and on all my life (all over Colorado/Denver) and this one is not worth the price you pay. My lease is up in June 2013 and I'm already looking for a new place. When I moved in, this complex was under different ownership and was called "Windsor Court" and since the change in names not much has changed. Everything that is working in my apartment is thanks to me or my boyfriend fixing it. The walls are painted the day before you move in I'm sure and cover the heating vents and electrical box. My carbon monoxide detector has batteries but no case. The door on my building just recently got "fixed" after the cold weather hit after hanging off the bottom hinge for months. Now it doesn't even fit the door way and has no door knob, I don't think maintenance ever does something all the way. Basically, it's not worth the price. Management needs to think about how much they are charging families/college students to live in this place. They need to make it cheaper, or make the place better.
Hi I have been stuck here becous my wife was sick we had a bottom floor apt with walk out here for 3years never late on rent prices going up every time leas is up after my wife passed I needed to get into smaller apt with x mas new year my bday and daring my wife I wanted to stay in same complex but smaller apt I got the runaround got a different answer every time I went into office the boss sead she would call me (nothing) they r doing work on outside but hallways stink to hi heaven no since they would not work with me I will probably be on the streets
