Property Ratings at Advenir at Cherry Creek South
I live here, staff is unavailable and office is always closed. Everyone has cockroaches, nothing gets fixed. A ton of hidden fees so definitely plan on rent being $100-200 more than it says. Gunshots on occasion, nothing gets fixed around here, homeless people sleep in front of your front door (personally this has happened many times in only 6 months and they told me just to throw her stuff down the stairs). Never get your mail because the mailboxes cannot be used because they are so broken. Randomly they change my keys without telling me. (2 times in 6 months is a lot) and the office is closed so I have no access to mail. To be fair temporary living and location? Great. But save yourself some stress by looking elsewhere this place is a wreck that is made to look nice.
I've been here three years nothing but issues the best one is the post office closed/ won't use the mail boxes now because they keep getting broke in to and they could even tell us Residences but they can close to pool and email everyone so glad I'm moving
management and leasing people are rude. you can not sleep at night, lot of noise and disturbing. rooms smells bad even they are painted After i moved out and I left everything clean no damages at all they took my $250 deposit and they charge me $459 this place is not a place to live at the rent is cheap but they charge you alot of money after you move out
The maintenance people never fix anything. The staff is rude. The place is falling apart. Not worth it!!! Run away!!!!
I am very regret just after I move in. The room haven't been cleaned and manager just prepare to paint the room on the moving day when I get the key. The room was full of paint smell despite they almost did not paint, but the manager said the smell would go when they open all windows and turn air condition. I don't believe that the paint smell would go within one day and it is very harm to health. Then the manager gave me $200 credit , I have to stay overnight at hotel. But this room is still have strong previous tenant cigarette that release from wall into the environment. I have to keep the windows open no matter how cold is outside. Now it is going into winter, I told the manager to repaint the room, she only procrastinated week by week. The $200 was only for inconvenience to me on moving day but not means they can give up their responsibility. Actually, I paid $175 maintenance administration fee for my move in. They just care if the tenant pay money on time, nothing else. My friends who live this apartment complain too. Now, I don't trust them any more. Here is really not a right place to live.
We are in our first month here at our new home. Every time we have seen the leasing office staff they have immediately greeted us with a smile and know our names. The courteousness and professionalism of this staff is top notch. The maintenance department is Johnny on the spot. They are professional and thankful for us. We have never felt like we are a burden to them at anytime. Every person I have met that works here has treated us with dignity and respect. We do not feel as though we are just customers or tenants. We feel like we are an important part of a community. The area is close to everything. Stores, restaraunts and entertainment are within just a couple minutes in any direction. I would highly suggest going online for your lease. We did that and was just able to pick up our keys and move in without any pressure. This place made everything hassle free for us. We pay our rent on time online. We are extremely happy with our decision moving in here. The only thing I can say needs a little work and attention is the common access area of the apartment buildings (hallways). The carpets are old looking and wore out in spots. That was the only attention to detail that is overlooked. If I have learned anything while living here I am sure it won't be long for that to be taken care of. All in all I would say give this place a try. So far I really cannot give a bad remark and have to give them a top rating. Keep up the great job Advenir, we appreciate you.
I moved in a few months back, and couldn't be any happier. I was new to Colorado ( I think I'm called a transplant) the office people helped me find an apartment, and moved me in within a day. Visited other complexes and could have moved there, but the office staff here is ultimately the reason I chose to live at Advenir at Cherry Creek South. If you are looking for a nice place to move to, convenient to everything, this is the place to live!
I enjoy living here. No complaints. Nice neighbors. Office is nice.
I moved in August. My home is nice and inviting. I do not have any issues whatsoever. Great helpful people work here.
I have had only positive experiences here ! Great staff and maintenance. I recommend it.
This place never helps their tenants. I have talk to multiple people that have complained about being ignored. The good review on here is from one of the tenants that works in the office. The good review didn't show up till he showed up in the office just saying. Building are full of bed bugs and roaches. The out side is nice office people suck, maintenance takes months to help.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. The only good reviews on here, are from the management staff. Bed bugs, overcharges, they will not fix stuff if it is broken, yet seem to spend all there money on pool and leasing office furniture. WORST place I have ever lived. New staff every week, maintenance staff has no idea what they are doing. 3 months deep in a 1 year lease, heaven help me.
When my boyfriend and I lived there it was terrible. The staff are horrible and they kept trying to change are rent and over charge us. They said we owed 1,000 extra dollars or we would be evicted if we didn't turn in the keys on the morning of the 2nd day. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE
These apartments are the worse apartments I have ever lived at. Since day 1 we have had nothing but lies . We asked if there is pest in the building we were to move in and they told us no. I got attacked 7 times by bed bugs the 1st night. 2nd month they tried to raise the rent. 3rd month they charged us twice! The water here turn hot and cold consistently. When I called and asked for help because I got burned in the shower maintenence said they can't do nothing about it boiler has to refill fast. I been working on over billing, the last 2 months and Rachel the manager said she would have it fixed for 3 weeks in a roll. When I asked why it still wasn't fixed she blamed the other worker. I spoke to one of the worker and she said after fixing everything i owed $106.17. Then they fired her and charged $165 extra dollars because the worker didnt leave it in writing. When the manager said I wouldn't have to worry about any late fees since rent was paid just not the utilities because I was waiting on the balance from them. She lied about changing things on my contract and said she could do that. When Colorado is a contract state. I have had to contact the BBB because she told me she would evict me because I complained about being over billed 5 months. They have also called the cops on me when I asked questions about my lease.
This places sucks they over charged us 3 times in the 6 months we have been here. They never answer the phone I have called 17 times through out a month and not one call has been answered (literally). These apartments are old and full of bed bugs. People always move out and leave their couches and beds. Their apartments are so old I have to call like 2 twice a month for bed bugs and fixes. I HATE IT! Deff not comfortable living
Its a fantastic community with all arch in place including parking lot ,gym, swimming pool, basketball court etc its near cherry creek thats the main fun.
Cypress Point is a great apartment complex. There are a few issuess, but maintenance took care of them promptly and hassle free. The community is a nice and family friendly. I would recommend people check out Cypress Point, the prices are comparative to many others in the area.
I've lived in my unit for more than 3 years now. Although prices have gone up significantly but that's just pretty much everywhere in Denver right now. The location is great. 7 miles from downtown Denver. Very close to cherry creek mall with all the restaurants and shopping you'll need about 4 miles. Bus stops are right in front of the complex. Super peaceful and quiet neighborhood while still being close to downtown. Never had any incident in my 3 years of living here. Everything you'll need is within 10 mile radius. Recent change on management/ownership has just made this complex a lot better. More organized. Uniformed maintenance. Night time parking lot security. This place just keeps getting better! 5-stars all day.
I lived at this place for eight years and recently moved out. The complex isn't kept up, the buildings and apartments have paper thin walls, no quiet and no privacy. Rent for my place was going to go from $780-$906 plus the exorbitant amount they charge in utilities. On top of you paying your own excel costs, you have to play for common area electric, real estate tax, service fees, pest control fees, water, gas, sewer, and trash. There is always unsupervised children who leave their bikes and toys laying all over. The grounds are always trashed with pet waste, food bags, trash, and smokers' trash. The handicapped space rules aren't enforced, in fact all the parking rules lined out in lease agreement aren't enforced. Leasing staff seems to change every 3-4 months and the property owners change yearly and jack up rates. I had the unfortunate experience of having pest control come and spray for spiders and came home to find the master key left in the lock on my door. I've found staff to be unorganized, unprofessional, and I was treated very badly and had concerns ignored. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
it is really getting crowded this way but it is getting better, trying to get cleaner, better appliances etc,
Upgrades are nice! Office staff are helpful. Maintenance supervisor a bit iffy
Cypress Point Apartments is a fair apartment complex for the price. Its about a 25 minutes drive to downtown Denver and all the amenities it has to offer, walking distance to several parks and a short drive to a number of grocery stores. The appliances are all fairly new and are functional however this is an old building complex with old building tendencies: Lava/Ice showers are frequent, wall mounted AC units, and somewhat thin walls. Very safe location, however it could be cleaner around the complex (tons of kids outside all day can make that difficult.) Overall it is a good place to start a life in Denver and to explore the city from.
I moved in about 3 weeks ago into a two bedroom, 1 bath apartment. The interior was completely remodeled and has been really nice to live in. The community needs to be updated next. The laundry rooms are older, but get the job done. A card reader for the laundry machines would be a great next step! I haven't used the pool or any other community features, but there's a basketball court, tennis court, small gym and sand volleyball court. Leasing office staff has been helpful and when our AC went out maintenance quickly replaced it with a new one. All in all a good place to live!
This community is diverse yet very quiet. The maintenance is well kept with fantastic amenities. They have a swimming pool, hot tub, basketball court, tennis court ,volley ball net, and a fitness center that is centralized for your convenience. Coming from a place where there was shady maintenance people and slum lords , I really am pleased to be living here. If you are looking for any place to live, it should be here!!! You will be minutes away from shopping malls and downtown while still maintaining in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. My daughter also goes to a fantastic school that is minutes away. Not to mention the friendly staff in the leasing office who are always very pleasing to see. So whether you are a single person or a family this can be the place for you. Don't miss out on a great opportunity on a great place to live!!!!
The Pros: Cheap rent, proximity to downtown, lots of Tata Consultancy Services and Centurylink employees, Decent Indian Population, Basketball court, pool, Walmart, King Soopers, Starbucks, grocery stores within 4 miles, good public transport connectivity The cons: No washer and dryer within the apartment, no microwave either, maintenance needs follow up and certain apartments have a bug problem. The management has a strict bug policy enforced at all times. Overall a great place to live if you choose your apartment wisely and with due diligence.
A new owner came in and raised rents to over 25% form the previous year. They take your money and give you nothing back in return. So not worth the cost.
The apartments themselves aren't terrible, though they are often infested with bugs. But the staff and management are so terrible that it's not worth living here. You could get a better deal at any one of five or six apartment communities within 3 blocks and not have to deal with screaming matches, terrible staff, and run down property. Every month here is just a wait until the lease is over.
My husband and i looked and looked for apartments but none seemed to catch our eye until we came to cypress point we applied right after looking at there model and i new i was home' i wasn't to happy with being on the first floor but turns out the walls are pretty thick i can hardly hear anything ! I was slightly disappointed that my place wasnt updated but its still a spacious and comfortable place to be ' all my guests feel very comfortable when they are over ! I love my new apparatment at cypress point'
