Property Ratings at Alaire Apartment Homes
All I can say that I'm very unhappy with the service. All these extra charges don't even apply to us. Garbage is not being picked up so on and so on. I've been here for a long time, and I.This is the experience with gray star. It's very poor if I can move, I would move, i can't afford to move
Our overall experience with Alaire has been truly outstanding. From the moment we started the process, we felt welcomed, supported, and cared for. Every member of the Alaire team has shown professionalism, kindness, and genuine dedication to helping residents feel at home. They communicate clearly, respond quickly, and always make an effort to address any questions or concerns with patience and respect. The entire move-in process was smooth and well-organized, and we truly felt that they were working with us every step of the way. The community itself is beautiful — the apartment, the amenities, and the surrounding area all reflect the high standards that Alaire maintains. It’s a place where you can feel safe, comfortable, and proud to call home. We are deeply grateful for the exceptional service and support we received. Alaire is not just an apartment community; it’s a team of people who truly care, and our experience with them has been wonderful from start to finish.

This apartment home experience from move in, to exisiting now. Has been awful. They postponed our move in by three days, leaving us spending more money. Once we were able to get in, they put us in the wrong unit and never updated the wwebsite to the correct unit layouts. Everything is a lie, there are hidden fees. No one is honest and transparent. Don't live here.

Hello there, thank you; we appreciate your feedback! We are actively work on a resolution for the trash. We do hope we can be of assistance in the future. Take care! -Your Alaire Team
In its current state I would not recommend anyone move here right now. They need to focus on current residents complaints, repair requests and the growing pest control issues. This has previously been a great, then pretty good, then wonderful, then decent, then an ok place to live. Depending on management, staffing and their resources made available from the owner. Just detailed ongoing communication would improve things in my opinion. Onsite security for longer hours and a dedicated staff member to address neighborhood issues, could make this place great! The location is premium! That’s a flex that can’t be altered . There is a work out room we love! However, the other amenities aren’t monitored by security or staff so they are often being closed down or taken over by giant groups of non-residents and vandalized. New managers come in and create policies to improve things over and over again, but they never ask people that have been here, what they’ve tried before and why that didn’t work last time, so it’s like a revolving wheel of tried and failed ideas. Also, when they create rules, they only affect people that follow the rules. That means the good guys suffer and the bad guys rule. If people were held accountable, or even just contacted for complaints, it wouldn’t hurt at all! The dog parks reek, have pests so your dog will get fleas if not treated. Also, USPS does not deliver packages. You have to go to the post office during their short business hours during the week to get your packages. If you don’t have transportation that could be an issue. It hasn’t been resolved in 20 years. They always say they will fix it, but it never sticks for one reason or another. Amazon uses USPS a lot now, so even easy delivery items become more of a pain than walking to the store and lugging things back.

The apartments are cheap and spacious, I give it that. I would not recommend living here unless there is a major turnaround in the cleanliness. If it weren’t for this I’d happily recommend Alaire.

The move in felt rushed. The landlords are not very informative nor helpful with things. Then, when I finally started moving in found multiple issues with the apartment not being ready. Puts in multiple work orders for things to be fixed. Took over two weeks to be addressed, and job was done poorly and not very professional. Inside the buildings are not kept very sanitary and constantly smells throughout the hallways. The interior of the units also are not very level. Everything seems to lean and even my dresser drawers slide open.

I would not recommend Alaire Apartment Homes based on my experience. The staff consistently shows a lack of care and communication, often ignoring maintenance requests and being difficult to reach. Parking is a constant issue due to unauthorized vehicles taking up resident spots, with no effective enforcement in place. The buildings are infested with cockroaches, and pest control efforts have been minimal and ineffective. Common areas are extremely poorly maintained—the gym is dirty and outdated, hallways often smell and are cluttered with trash, and stairwells and laundry rooms are neglected. Overall, the condition of the property does not reflect pride or proper management.

I’ve lived here almost 10 years and always had good things to say about my home. I love the size , location, and community. At this writing, not sure if I’d invite others to live here.

Don’t move here, your maintenance issues won’t be addressed and you’ll be forced to walk up flights of stairs for MONTHS when you pay for a building with an elevator. Not worth the price we pay for this building
Property Manager at Alaire Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review
Anonymous, we regret to hear your experience with us wasn't more positive. It is true that one of our elevators is not working for three flights of stairs, but this is not due to a lack of care for the residents affected or for our property, it is because the repairs are substantial and involve multiple vendors and it is going to take time to determine a safe and appropriate fix and implement the repairs needed. We are willing to discuss other options available for and have offered the option to transfer to another home. Please contact us at alairemgr@greystar.com if you are interested in discussing this option. In the meantime we will keep you updated as they develop.
My outlets in half of my apartment have not worked for 3 weeks (since I moved in). I have submitted work orders, emails, phone calls, and gone into the office in person and it still isn’t fixed. There are many other things wrong with the apartment. Also my car was stolen from the parking lot the day after I moved in :(

We're so sorry you had this experience. Rest assured we find this resident experience unacceptable. We believe all of your maintenance issues have been resolved, but if you are have anything else that needs attention please let us know. Please don't hesitate to get in touch. We want to make it right. Thanks for the valuable feedback. Please reach out to us at alairemgr@greystar.com so we can chat about ways to improve your experience.
This organization is poor because property management does not support the current tenants, there is no accountability and no standards for the grounds. Management fails to interject or address concerns of residents. I went to the office management office at 10:00 AM on a Friday and there was a sign on the door stating the office personnel would be back in 15 minutes. i waited 30 minutes but office status never changed. I called and Serena answered the phone and said she was in the back office.
They sold and changed name to Alaire. They have silverfish everywhere. Look up at the hallway light fixtures. They are in between floors and get in thru every crack. So gross. Roaches in many apartments. They lie and say u gave improper move out notice and try to bill you. Awful place. Awful staff. Garbage in hallways. Garbage cans overflow. Rats run Around lot. Needles on property. Take my word or regret your decision. I am glad I am out. Yuck.
Don't rent from these people. The buildings are old. Everything is maintained just enough. It isn't worth what you pay for. There is no security. The apartment I'm in doesn't have lighting installed in over 50% of the floor space. The appliances are mediocre. Maintenence is virtually non-existent, yet an appearance was made. Leasing staff and office people are insufferable with just a splash of arrogance and condescension and pay absolutely no concern to the fact that as a resident you're paying them. In three years of having moved to Seattle moving here is my worst regret.
Incredibly easy to get to I-5 or the 405 almost any time of day. ~10min drive or less. The complex feels very safe and is extremely quiet! Management is quick to have maintenance take care of any concerns, usually same day. Would rate 4.5 overall. Only thing I wish was more clear on move in was the elevator. I was told it was a large freight elevator. This was not the case... I had to haul my couch and mattress up four flights of stairs because they wouldn't fit.
The management needs drastic improvement. In the time span of two months I've received 5 notices on my door of management coming in to check on the smoke detector. One notice did not mention what they were coming in to do but just that they were coming in. I had one friend stay and watch my place for that day and he reported they came in and took photos of my room and then just left without explanation. After calling the management I was told that it was a maintenance deal and they will have them call me. They never called and after 3 days of waiting I called again and they just directed me to the head of the management who I could never get a hold of.
These apartments are what I consider to be mid-level apartments. They are not entirely dimly, but they are definitely not high end. We've had severe issues with the management and it took more than a month and a half to complete our application. Also, since we've moved in (2 weeks ago) we have had one thing after another go wrong in our unit, to include: dish washer flooding be kitchen because it was never hooked up to the garbage disposal before we moved in, washer flooding on every use, doors not closing properly because of poor jobs, and our fridge has been intermittent since we arrived! All of these are big life hassles and totally unexpected within the first week of move-in! It was entirely too difficult for me to get a FOB to access the gym, but once I have access, I can say that they have a decent gym and good pools. The location is actually really nice. It is really close to 2 different good bus stops and it is right in the center of town and in the center of all the action! Definitely can be noisy, but that is a trade off for being so close to everything we need. Overall, I think it's a decent place to spend a year because the price is right. But I personally am not interested in staying here long term just because of all of the problems that we've already had.
