San Antonio blends a rich heritage with modern innovation, resulting in a metropolis teeming with true Texan heart. San Antonio’s distinctive environment reflects centuries of style and a diverse array of culture, which is best exemplified in the La Villita Historic Arts Village. The Alamo may be the most renowned structure in the city, but there are plenty of magnificent historical buildings to see—from the Emily Morgan Hotel to the Meyer Halff House.
Stretched along the San Antonio River is the famous River Walk, where residents and visitors alike can walk or bike from the San Antonio Zoo to the Witte Museum, the historic Majestic Theatre, the Shops at Rivercenter, the Missions of San Antonio and back again.
The city and the surrounding region offer endless opportunities for exploration.

Property Ratings at Alamo Heights Treehouse
This apartment has roaches everywhere. The pest control is of no use. The maintenance team takes forever to fix anything. I keep raising service requests and they never fix it unless it is an emergency.
I had a dream when we moved into the Treehouse Apartments. In this dream there was: a clean pool to cool off with on hot days; water on demand; hot water on demand; a well-lit, secure area that we could walk around in without fear of walking down a dark staircase or a dark corner; working air conditioning for the months when you think you’re going to melt just by stepping outside; But the reality is: 1. A swimming pool that serves as a breeding ground for mosquitos and other insects rather than a place to swim. 2. Water that is turned off daily for what could be a few minutes to several hours. We always keep a jug of water available so that we can flush the toilet, finish our showers, rinse our hands, etc. I highly recommend you do this as well. 3. When there is water it most likely will not be hot water. But most of the time we’re just thankful to have any water at all. We keep a big pot handy to boil water for bathing, washing, cleaning, etc. 4. Air Conditioning that doesn’t work. This happens every summer. It takes them weeks to get it repaired. The upside to this is that our skin is usually glowing from the constant sweat since it reaches about 90-100 degrees in our apartment. I recommend you make friends with people who have WORKING air conditioning so you can stay at their place when this happens. Or save up for a hotel. 5. The outside stairwell is pitch black when it’s dark outside. When leaving our apartment and walking down the stairs we literally must stop and feel our way down one foot at time because we can’t see. I’ve put in a a request for them to replace the light bulb and it’s been in place for going on 3 weeks. But they have done nothing.
Property Manager at Alamo Heights Treehouse, Responded To This Review
We regret on your choice to leave our property and the issues that you may have dealt with under past management. However, we do appreciate your long term residency and wish you the very best. Our new management team will strive to make improvements property wide.
This is the company is corrupt and horrible at being a landlord. They do not care about the people living in their apartments, they just care to collect the rent. They kept my pet and move-in deposit (about $400), which I expected because my dog damaged the carpet. But because I didn't do a walk-through with their management office (why, you might ask? Because the manager, Iva, looked me straight in the face and told me everything was fine and that I didn't need to do anything but give them my forwarding address and give them my keys) they proceeded to send me a bill of an additional $300 for bogus damages to the unit. They will not return my phone calls or emails asking for back-up photos or invoices. I paid my rent on time every single month, kept my unit as clean as possible, and was a very diligent resident when moving out. This family has no shame. Do not, under any circumstances, rent from Treehouse Apartments or Ridgemont Properties.
This place has roaches!!! Inside and out. It has mold inside and out! When we first moved in our apt wasn't even clean and it had an indescribable smell in it! We had to open all windows and you could SMELL it outside! The most messed up thing is that while I was signing the lease the apt manager came and saw it and she had to of smelt it, before we moved to make sure it was "clean" which it obviously wasn't! I requested them to clean mold from the ceiling in one of the rooms and in a corner. Maintenance came in looked at it said he will be back in a second came back with a bottle sprayed the ceiling and told me "it isn't mold on the walls, it's probably dust from vents" (then clean the VENTS) Told me to "spray ceiling with bleach if mold comes back". I've lived in several apartments in San Antonio and these are by far the WORST!!! The office manager is so rude every time I call and speak to her she cuts me off and interrupts mid sentence trying to guess what I'm about to say. Mosquitoes are EVERYWHERE here so if you don't want the virus or your dogs getting heart worms don't move here!!! Mosquito Tree Haven should be the name. Don't move to this rude/mold/ bugged out apt. Oh and parking good luck... ONE assigned covered parking per apartment even if you live in a 2-3 bdrm. Can't wait to move out and plan to tell everyone I know to avoid Alamo Heights Apt. The only good the about these apartments is Alamo Heights!
