Property Ratings at Alamo Park
This horrible place the picture are deceiving, old , dirty and falling apart it worth the money. Not worth a single star
They don't do work orders in a timely matter they're always short of staff. They're more worried about how the outside of the apartment looks versus on the needs of the tenants that live in the apartments but I mean it's a place to live at this point. I got a roof over my head, so it is what it is. I wish things could be better here but I mean we signed the lease so I got be here, Maybe overtime things will be better

They show you the showroom and the actual apartment that is given to you looks nothing like it. When we moved in our apartment was dirty and I had to replace the vents myself… all in all look at your actual apartment before moving in. For what you’re paying for it doesn’t add up. Just be aware and be careful. Of course this was my experience and yours might not be the same.

When I first moved in the complex was somewhat decent. But it quickly dropped in quality. There have been two different mgmt co. Neither lived up to the advertising.

They are nice people from the property management on down and the maintenance team will get your issues resolved quickly. The office will work with you on any issues . They have updated apartments and repaved the parking lot installed gates and codes . They protect your mail. You need an access code to get to your mailbox, I like that a lot .

The Apartments are located in a great location, conveniently placed, clean and quiet complex, great accommodations. Shasha made my move from out of town superbly easy, she answered any questions I had, and even gave me a list of a few hot spots to try great customer service.
My wife and I have just moved in, the apartment was delivered to me in the right conditions. The environment is quiet and peaceful.
Had 2 leaks. One caused damage to the ceiling and had a hole that was and is still not replaced. And the other leak has been constantly going for 4 months now. Management does not seem to care as it has not been fixed and mold is everywhere. If you are ok with leaks then it's definitely your place to live.

Between sinking floors, always changing management, things breaking everywhere, and the laundry room being inoperable. There is much more but ive only been living here for 2 years
The gate is broken, big homeless problem, management doesn’t care, mailboxes broken into, management has changed 7 times since June 2021. Roaches are horrible here. Don’t live here. You’re safety is worth much more
I worked with Julie who provided excellent customer service in processing my application for rental. Julie was very professional and courteous. Thank you
I have lived here a couple months. I haven’t had major issues and when I do, management and maintenance are there to help.
They have moved me into a unit with an uncontrolled bug problem. They have been unable to resolve this ongoing roach/waterbug infestation in the kitchen and bedroom (attached pictures). They have sprayed my apartment on five different occasions. Each time, they tell tenants that they cannot do anything further until ten days have passed. After ten days on every spraying occasion, I have still found bugs throughout my apartment. I continue to send them pictures after each spraying until they spray again. This cyclical process has been going nowhere for two months now and they have refused to relocate me into another unit.
hi my name is Janine I live in the Alamo Apartments before they were call The Lodge when I first moved here the lodge was not a place you would want to live but now the Alamo has taken over Michelle has don awesome job, running this place there's nothing that I haven't asked for or told her I needed it has been done. Michelle has came in and has gotten this place in order. She mad me feel like this a place i would like to be. They are up front about price of the apartment, and the utilities that are included. They have fix up the apartment complex they have put in new toilets pull up carpet And the maintenance department is awesome they know their job they know what they're doing they come in and do the job right they don't half step . You really need to come and check it out you won't be disappointed, ask for Michelle she will get the job done
Hidden fees. The new changes effect the old residents. People break into your vehicles. Gates never stay fixed for long. A lot of action on this road. Police activities. Apartment are run down. Mold in bathrooms. Wood falling apart on outside. Not much for children to do. No parks or anything. Only thing that is new and looks good in leasing office.

Thanks for the comments. Please discuss with the office manager on what exactly is hidden fees. We have never heard of break-in into the vehicles in the property. We have overstaffed maintenance crews and every work orders are being tracked by the office staffs for satisfaction. we have been getting a very good response from residents. Please come by to the office and mention that you need to talk to the regional manager. We want to see what exactly you are talking.
Do not move here. This place is a dump. I never write reviews but this is the worst apartment complex that I have dealt with. The residents pay for pest control and no one comes to spray. Noisy at night and work orders take several days. My apartment wasn’t even finished when I moved here. No carpet, dirty shower, no blinds in the kitchen. They have been trying to make improvements but all you get is an e-mail or a call saying that they are going to do something and then they don’t. If I had done more research before I moved here, I would have never been here. Coming from a different city, everything looked okay on the outside but when I got here, it was a complete mess. When my lease is up, I will definitely be out of here.

Sorry that you had a bad experience with previous management. We have new management and ownership on the property. There will be new carpentry and exterior painting done on the property in the next few months. Please be patient since we just took over.
RODENTS!! DO NOT FIX REPAIRS I moved in in December with no problems but in February we realized we had rodents in our apartment there are two holes that they are coming from reported to office in February pest control was called out but holes still were not repaired reported holes again still weren’t fixed left in March returned home on 4-24-18 and rat droppings on counter top, underneath dining room table and they put a hole in the back of my sofa went into office and reported it pest control came in on 4-25-18 put a glue trap under stove but no repairs were done on the holes. The holes have still not been repaired as of 5-4-18 and when you speak with Management no one keeps their word will not pay another dime here. Do Not Move Here!! Did not deserve any stars 0
These apartments are great the staff is friendly and things get taken care of very quickly normally same day. It has felt like family since the day we moved in. We've been living here for 3 years and couldn't be happier. Not to mention it is in a great area with major stores just down the road, and bus route just a walk away. Reasonably priced and spacious it is a perfect place to be.
I depend on people here they always come through 100%. It is a quiet and very outgoing apartment complex that feels more like a neighborhood. The staff at the office are very professional and family orientated. The buildings are beautiful and well maintained. Almost every month there is a get together, a BBQ, a Holiday , or a resident appreciation gathering and/or party. They will work with you for every months rent, and a strict no nonsense rule of no crime or illegal activities. I've been a loyal compatriot for 3 years and don't plan on going anywhere.
I have lived here for two years and I can honestly say this is one of the worst apartments I have experienced, first everyone should know they tow cars all the time. My wife had her car towed only because the front office forgot to give her a sticker tag and when I asked for a refund they just blew me off and even denied that they forgot to give her a parking tag. My mother in law also was towed and I have heard other residents complain about this (about themselves and their guests), honestly I have even seen Bexar towing sitting in our parking lot...no doubt the office get a kick back. Something else potential renters should know about is that there are allot of additional fees here, never in my life have I had an apartment where I paid an admin fee, pest fee, trash fee, and requires renters insurance. So when they say its xyz price it actually turns out to be more. I will also mention I have had huge problems with roaches and a lack of interest or concern for me or my family and in fact I have had to contact there leasing management company to get anything done. The lodge took retaliatory action by simply not renewing my lease with joy, I told the manager and leasing company I would have a hard time moving because my wife was about to give birth again lack of concern or a care in the world. So anyone renting take note do not complain. Everyone should know the maintenance here is bellow poor, they respond most of the time in a timely manner however usually if it requires any skill that they don't possess then it simply doesn't get done. I have had a flooding problem and maintenance doesn't know how to fix it never mind calling a plumber to see what’s going on. I have had an electrical issue and the office said that maintenance didn’t know how to fix the problem so I guess I was supposed to be ok with electrical issues? Simple décor, I have noticed also our bathtub is painted all over and it bothers me because my wife and I love baths and while we bathe the paint flakes off! There are so many areas where it is obvious that they simply just slap a coat of paint on a trouble area and expect the problem to go away like magic!

This place is infested with bedbugs!!!! We noticed them after only 2 days of being here, and now they are everywhere!!! And what's worse is that they cannot get anyone out here to take care of it for a week!! There are cracks in the ceiling, power outlets have gaps around them and are not correctly installed, and the pictures look nothing like the actual apartment!!!!! The pool in the back is full of mold also. The security gate worked only on the day that we first arrived and has not worked since. The window latches they tout as one of their "security measures" does not work because they don't latch. The laundry facility is filthy, covered in sand and the washers are rusty. They say they have renovated units....well I think they mean unit because all of our appliances are very old, and the stove smokes so bad when we turn it on that it sets off the fire alarm. The cabinets have walpaper coverings that are peeling, and they painted the counters, all of them. Their paint job is terrible and there are splatters of the wrong color of paint everywhere. The vents are covered in a layer of dust 5 inches thick. The baseboards are mold covered and the paint is cracked and peeling in large chunks. I am ashamed to call this place home, and would give it a negative star rating if I could. Please I warn everyone from moving in here no matter how desperate you are!!
Apartments are older but they are well kept together , Maintenance usually comes out same day or the next day. They make me feel at home , real cozy. Of course there is always room for improvement but you get what you pay for. Management could be BETTER , security of the apartments could be better as well.
STAY AWAY!! This apartment is infested with bugs and the staff could care less about your problems. I've emailed and called to report my issues on several occasions and they all still exist. I would advise everyone considering this place to stay away unless you want to be rooming with roaches and deal with no hot water on a regular basis and no air conditioning.
