Just minutes south of downtown Raleigh between Interstate 40 and Fayetteville Road, Garner is a medium-sized town with a relaxed, suburban atmosphere. The south side of town is ripe for outdoor recreation, with large public parks leading down to the banks of Lake Benson featuring trails, nature centers, and opportunities for boating.

Property Ratings at Alcove Garner
I appreciate the new management being proactive. The new amenities look great. The resident events have great too
This is the worst apartment every. I am very disappointed with new management that took over. They really don't care, there is no communication and there is never anyone in the office working. Don't bother to send them email or call the phone because you will never get anyone. I wish I could give negative stars.
The property has been bought out multiple times in the past 3 years each time getting worse than before. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone in the office or get a return call or email. In addition the amenities listed are not easily accessible. The pool hours during the summer are sporadic, the club house and business center are both closed outside of office hours, and the dog park and play ground are both electrified from the wires that run above the areas. The breezeways are filthy causing an increase in bugs. The base rent listed ends up being increased by about 150 after all the extra fees for cable, vallet trash, washer/dryer (not optional), etc.
I love my apartment and neighbors. I have lived here 5 years and the previous management company was good. I am disabled and not in a position to move. This management company only cares about outward appearances. They do nothing for the residents. They have added all kinds of crazy fees like a service fee and valet trash plus a fee for use of the trash compactor that we don't use.The office staff are very unpleasant and almost never answer the phones, return messages, or emails. There aren't any community events. They completely refurbished the clubhouse but residents aren't allowed to use it. They didn't hire a professional pool management company and it was disgusting all summer. Please don't move here.
There's evidently such a lack of parking that they do not allow more than one day (day time) to park a truck to move in. Lease terms are not enforced including noise complaints which is literally the job of a management company. The management is dismissive and rude, promises calls and doesn't deliver, and is just generally apathetic to any complaints made. They do not properly flip apartments. They have a dreadful painter and even admit it but did nothing to correct it. I could do a better job blindfolded. We have flickering lights and filters that are not working, but they didn't replace those either. Kind of expensive for what you get. Also, they were not really inclined to share the layout along with measurements, so the apartment ended up being quite a bit smaller than we expected.
I have been living here for years and had the best times of my life for the first year. The new management took over this past year and have made the living conditions like a prison. We will get $50 fines if we leave trash out yet the wall in our breezeway is covered in some sort of oil or other brown liquid that is so gross. When a neighbor asked about getting it cleaned, she was told they would not be pressure washing anytime soon. Definitely not a “luxury apartment”…BEWARE!
Hello I am moved to Cleveland Crossing about a year ago and everything was fine back then except for the parking we had free Internet and cable the office staff was it warm. The new management now Alcove apartments are having peoples cars towed even though there’s not enough parking they send out letters stating there is enough parking but there isn’t I have to walk a very long distance with groceries in the rain with my young children. They are threatening to tow cars if the registration isn’t up-to-date which is very coldhearted because A lot of us are dealing with Covid and the lack of income some of us can’t afford to get our registration and taxes paid at this time. On top of that they are now making us pay $50 for Internet and cable versus before it was free so basically they making live in here more strenuous. As soon as I get the chance I’m moving word to the wise do not move here they will tell your car even though there’s not enough parking spaces if you don’t have a registration is up-to-date they were told your car which will make the situation worse because if you’re already having a hard time paying your taxes and getting your registration you’re gonna have your car towed at your office expense which is very mean.
This was one of the best apartment communities I have ever lived in. The staff are always helpful and you always get notice by email and letter before going to your apartment and doing maintenance. The apartments are very nice and the emenities are great. I have and would recommend these apartments to anyone moving to the area.-
Cleveland Commons is one of four places we looked at when moving. By far the best of the four! Well laid out apartments near shopping & restaurants and only 10-15 minutes from Raleigh. Beautiful pool, small but very nice gym area, tanning bed, billiards table, business center, playground for kids, and dog run for dogs (of course). There is a small coin laundry if you don't have your own washer/dryer. We are happy we chose to live here.
I love living at Cleveland Crossing Apts. they were brand new when I moved in. Spot of upgrades for the same price. Great location! Great pool!
