The Eastside of Greenville, South Carolina is a neighborhood to remember. A large portion of town is taken up by the Greenville Downtown Airport, a huge convenience and perk of living on the Eastside. Directly west of town, you’ll run into Bob Jones University, a beautiful campus with a vibrant atmosphere.
Eastside is filled to the gills with retailers and restaurants. Haywood Mall is a one-stop-luxury-shop for everything on your wish list. With stores ranging from Coach and J. Crew to Pandora and Pottery Barn, this is a shopper’s paradise with upscale retailers galore. Quick eats like Chick-fil-A and upscale restaurants such as the Cheesecake Factory are located in the mall as well.
Numerous local restaurants reside around town, many family-owned, like the delicious Adams Bistro on Pelham Road.

Property Ratings at Aldon at Keys Crossing
Out of all the places to live in Greenville, I’d strongly advise avoiding this one. The rent is inflated for the condition of the property, and they clearly neglect upkeep and maintenance. The management, especially Courtney, is incredibly difficult to deal with. From the very start, she’s been unhelpful and rude, and she issues fines for even the smallest issues. It’s no surprise that there’s such high turnover among the staff—since I’ve lived here, they've gone through multiple front desk and leasing agents. Response times are abysmal; I’ve often had to call multiple times without anyone picking up, and when I do get a response, it’s a lengthy wait. The condition of the apartment when I moved in was disappointing: the carpets were poorly cleaned, the washing machine doesn’t work properly, leaving clothes stained, and it doesn’t drain or smell properly. I’ve also noticed mold around the balcony doors, and the pest control service is practically nonexistent—cockroaches are a frequent problem. The valet trash service is inconsistent at best, and when they fail to pick up your trash, you’re still fined as if it’s your fault. With so many issues and the lack of proper management, this place simply isn’t worth the hassle.
It’s a new building which is great, however stairs are dirty, parking can be kinda slim depending on which building you are in. Gym is super small. Club house and mail area are nice. However they make you pay an additional $50 (one time fee) to get packages. Apartment is nice and new, don’t hear too much sound from others. However for the price, I think things could be better.

This community has a serious cigarette smoking weed and vaping problem it is not “ 100% SMOKE FREE “ as advertised. I have been complaining and dealing with the smell of smoke in my apartment daly for many months now. The management office has no intention to enforce or have any control in stopping this problem It’s always we are aware of the problem and we are working on it, but the problem continues to exist. The property also has a parking issue. if you arrive home after 6pm you will not be able to find a parking spot. There are a lot of other issues yeah it looks nice, but it’s all smoke and mirrors I would not recommend this community.

Be Aware - STAY FAR AWAY unless you want to constantly have to deal with issues while you live here - the positive reviews are fake and from the office staff itself ---- This place deserves less than 0 stars. The complex itself is ok, we pay for valet trash....but its not picked up on days scheduled at times - have had garbage outside waiting for days with no can inside in the kitchen to use. You pay a $50 monthly fee for water instead of what you use which they do not tell you when you sign the lease, I found out when I saw the charge and questioned it - normal usage for me in any apartment is about $12 monthly - Had I known this, I may not have signed. They turn off the Water pressure at times so you cannot bathe until they turn it back on . When you ask about it - they brush you off. The office staff talk about tenets behind their back in public which is unprofessional and disgraceful. Their contract with ATT only allows you to choose the $100 a month plan for internet only from them for mediocre service (service quality is ATT fault not WAKC). I did not sign up for TV but I imagine its much more. Be aware that the floors and ceilings are uninsulated causing normal steps of my upstairs neighbors to echo through the apartment loudly all day and part of the night every day. Be prepared if you have any issues, the office staff will generally refuse to help you. They also ignore real reviews and do not even reply to them unless its a good review and if you get any response its just a phone call defending each others unprofessionalism.
