Alexander Park

Counting the days till we can leave. Utilities easily cost $300-$450 in the winter with minimum use. Parking is horrendous, you can't get a spot in front of your own building most days and it's so tight you can hardly get in and out. Neighbors are loud and you get people outside honking their horns, playing with their locks to make beeping sounds. Giant dog wakes us barking every morning and night. Trash you get fined for leaving out but the compactor is so full you can't throw anything away properly. House centipedes and ants run the place. Good luck.

This is the worst apt I’ve ever been in. Nobody answers your calls or emails. I can hear people walking/stomping around all night and all morning. They make you pay a trash fee but if u leave your trash out they charge you an extra $50. They took my recycling bin. Dog poop is all over the grass areas. Loud traffic that’s booms through the apartment. My utilities were $300 in the winter. I honestly hate paying to be here every month and I’m counting the days I get to leave.

Let’s do start with the glue that holds this building together, literally, MISS Carley! She is the face of Birge and Held. The girls in office have been nothing but respectful, kind and courteous and I’m a resident of 3.5 years. Since she runs multiple sites, she makes herself readily available to anyone who needs her. Now let’s talk about the boys, hardest workers in Franklin County. I always recommend this community to my friends that are moving from near and far. Thanks guys for making my stay nothing short of eventful.

I have lived here for about 6 months now and I don’t have a swingle complaint! The office is easy to reach and they send out regular updates and emails so I never have any questions about what’s going on on the property! The neighbors seem nice, I haven’t had any issues and when I walk my dog someone always says hello. It’s also reassuring to always see the maintenance staff out and about, I know they keep busy and keep our community clean!

Alexander Parks was sold to Birge and Held, a scummy company which puts profits far ahead of service. They so poorly planned the aquisition that when they bought the property, they lacked enough employees to actually run it - leaving residents in a lurch. Garbage regularly overflows the dumpster, rendering it impossible to use. Employees entered my locked apartment during the day without notice while I was in a work meeting because they incompetently thought that it was a display unit. During my time leasing my garbage disposal broke, causing a leak and rendering me unable to use my kitchen. Since Birge and Held left the maintenance number on the resident app as the old management company's number, I had to go through a wild goose chase to actually find the maintenance number. Once I finally got through to emergency maintenance they did not show up for another two days. Two months after I moved out, I received a letter from a debt collection agency on behalf of Alexander Parks which did not mention why I owe money. Alexander Parks never contacted me about money owed prior to the debt collection notice. Upon contacting Alexendar Parks they told me it was for my last energy bill, but although I requested they forward me the email they claimed to have sent notifying me of the pending payment, they did not. Apartments are emptying out, and it's no wonder why.

I never ever write reviews, but after these past couple of weeks I think everyone deserves a fair warning before signing a lease here. So, from the outside looking in Alexander Park appears to be a decent place to live; a big selling point is the complex's amenities (club house, gym, etc.). For starters the gym hasn't been cleaned in months, there haven't been wipes to disinfect the equipment after-use for at least two weeks, the water jugs have been empty for at least 2-months and the gym bathroom currently has urine all over the toilet and there are no paper towels or toilet paper to speak of. Apartment wise, we've had a huge bug problem (ants/ spiders) for weeks now, despite being visited by Pest Control a month ago. Also, the walls in the unit are extremely thin, I can hear every single word that my neighbors say in the bedroom and it is very difficult to sleep (esp. if said neighbors are night owls). Our apartment was absolutely filthy upon move-in, so much so that they literally sent the cleaners back in for another go. Finally, the people in the office are very hard to get ahold of if you work regular daylight hours, they are supposed to be open from 10-6 and I've stopped in around 4 the past couple of days and the office was already closed/ locked-up.

This was a great place to live in while Champion properties managed. Once Birge and Held took over it has gone downhill FAST. They genuinely have no idea how to manage this apartment complex. The trash by the mail lockers is always full and stinky. The grounds are unkempt. The staff is nowhere to be found half the time. Their office hours are 9-5 M-F, so it makes it nearly impossible to talk if you have any issues. I would think twice about moving here. It is WAY overpriced for what you get.

April 2022 Champion sold the property to an out of state asset group. The new management doesn't exist, the won't staff any of the apartments they purchased. What once was a great place to live completely changed overnight with this Birge and Held group. Look at their website and you'll see all the bragging about how many properties they own. The office has been abandoned since they took over. They refuse to answer the phone and return any voicemails. Lucky to get a response by email. Trash overflowing, grounds are cleaned once a week when it used to be everyday. They say they are understaffed, this is really not my problem. Birge and Held decided to purchase apartments without consideration for staffing. Why would a company make an investment in apartments without considering staffing FIRST, this is a very poor business model.

I have had a great living experience here for the 6 months. Maintenance is included in rent and is incredibly helpful. The facilities are nice, including the gym, pool, lounge area, and community Starbucks coffee maker. It is also an extremely convenient location to get to almost anywhere in Columbus in less than 30 minutes.

Me and my roommate have lived here for 2+ years and our experience has been great. There really aren't many issues that occur in our apartments besides the occasional power outage. The community managers are quick to respond when we have an issue though and maintenance has gotten to our apartment in 1-2 days. Overall, Alexander has been great and I haven't even talked about the events or other amenities.

They are always so responsive to any questions/problems we have. And maintenance is always on top of everything even on weekends!

I'm coming up on my second year living here I really enjoy the gym and the pool the staff and the office is top notch Megan and her crew make it easy to get things done The maintenance staff are on point and always ready to fix whatever's broken. I remember last summer I had an issue with my AC they offered to bring in a portable unit while they were working on it it wasn't necessary cuz they fixed it within like an hour but still I thought it was really cool that they offered to do that. I highly recommend living here for anybody it's a warm friendly community pet friendly lots of good people I plan on staying here awhile

I have enjoyed living at Stafford House and now Alexander Park! Abby, the community manager, has been very helpful in the whole process by always answering questions, responding in a timely manner, and making sure everything is good to go! I would recommend this place to live for sure!

Staff is nice, has a great attitude, and is easy to talk to. We are treated very well and I really like it here!

I have only been at Alexander Park for a couple weeks now and in such a short amount of time I have been blown away by the kind and accommodating office staff, the sense of community and overall “vibes”. I have been describing it to friends and family as the perfect mix. With the courtyard pool, private clubhouse and high ceilings you get the city feel, with shops and stores so close you get convenience and with updated appliances and flooring you get the modern feel. Would highly recommend!

This property is very nice, they have given me an opportunity when no one else did with worst property. I will be living here until I buy my next house. The people are very diverse and polite. However I do have a upstairs neighbor who I could live without but as far as the property it is very nice and clean. My apartment is also very spacious. You will love this place. Abby is the Champion for sure. Join us!

I love living at Alexander Park! My husband and I have lived in both a 1 BR/1 Bath and a 2 BR/2 Bath and have loved both layouts. This is our third year here! The staff is incredible, and everyone is super friendly and accommodating. We absolutely LOVE Megan. She is so sweet and always so fun to see in the office. Brian with maintenance is amazing too! Other awesome people we have met through Champion during our time here include Mackie, Amanda, and Meg! We love the super convenient location, the pool, and definitely the free coffee bar! Our maintenance requests are always addressed super quickly and we never have to worry about anything. The staff puts on events for community members, and even now with COVID there have been lots of fun gift cards and things given out for free like mini Bundt cakes, etc. Alexander Park truly feels like home to me and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome place to live!

The apartments at Alexander Park are some of the best values in Columbus. Your a 15 minutes drive down 315 to Columbus and right by Polaris. They have an exceptional staff and great amenities.

Alexander Park is an great place to live. It's always a positive experience speaking with the management staff. Megan is amazing very professional. The maintenance staff here is really good and quick to respond. The fitness center, pool and club area are well kept as well.

This place is great for many reasons. First of all management is very personable! They really go out of their way to get to know each household. They host fun events for kids and adults alike about once a month. Even if we are just walking by the office Megan (the property manager) will open the door and hand out suckers. I have also witnessed her very appropriate and calm demeanor even during complaints (which are very rare) but her professionalism is second to none. Second, Their pool is usually open at the end of March and is the bomb!!!! We use the Fire pit, outdoor grill and comfy lounge chairs almost every day! Lastly, the apartments, and specifically the bedrooms, are the biggest in town and priced below average in my opinion for the square footage. I wouldn’t live anywhere else in Columbus!!!

The apartments are spacious, the amenities as great, and the staff is fantastic. As a bonus they always have some sort of cool event going. The latest was a nice ice cream treat day for the whole community!

I have had the pleasure of living at AP for almost 2 years, and it has been such an enjoyable experience. The staff is so friendly, knows you by name, is always happy to help and goes above and beyond to take of you, which I am especially grateful for with it being my first apartment and place of my own. Great location, amenities, and community. Would definitely recommend!

Between the staff (Megan, Mackie, Brian, & everyone else), the location (easy access to highways, close to everything, parks, malls, restaurants), the layout & amenities (spacious living room, nice kitchen, pool, gym), reasonable price, nice neighbors, & fun things set up (prizes, free pizza night) I highly recommend!!!!!

I lived at Alexander Park for two years and really enjoyed it. My 1br had a great layout, everything was well maintained, and the staff were great. My move out time unfortunately coincided with the start of social distancing and the staff were still excellent to work with remotely. Highly recommended.

Great ambience in the apartment and at clubhouse and excellent staff that always helps you in any situation. Amazing events for networking are conducted regularly and allows us to know our neighbors better and have fun. The starbucks coffee and pool table are icing on the cake.

Megan and Mackie greeted me with great energy and smiles! Their reception set my expectations. They helped me during a challenging transition in my life. Although I know that they have good days and bad, they have always received me with a smile! The service has been excellent and my apartment layout has exceeded my expectations. I'm looking forward to using the beautiful and user friendly club house! On top of all this the value for the price was unmatched in the area!

I have been visited Alexander Park apartment . I met Megan, she is definitely one of the best property managers I have ever met in my life. she is so kind, sweet, caring and respectful. She treated me like her family member. when we went for an one bedroom apartment tour, she was asking me my concerns, my needs, my feelings about everything, she is very professional. Even when i requested to have a short recording of the apartment to show my family, she was very patient to wait and helped me to turn on the lights without me asking. Very small move but it keeps my heart warm. She just make my life easier.

I’ve been at Alexander Park for about a month now and I’m very pleased with the property. The location is great, very convenient to Polaris and feels central to almost anywhere in the Columbus area. The room (2 bedroom 2 bath) is spacious and the common area (the clubhouse) is convenient and provides a nice place to relax with complimentary Starbucks coffee. I’ve also rented a garage, which is a little on the small side for my SUV, but now that I’m a little more adjusted to it, is not a problem. Where this apartment really shines, though, is the staff. Mackie and Megan are both incredibly helpful and have really made me feel at home here. Maintenance has also been prompt and efficient at solving the few problems I’ve had (which is a marked difference from other apartments I’ve lived in). Overall, I highly recommend this apartment if you’re looking for a nice place to live in a convenient area.

The location is perfect for being close to campus, yet away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and friendly. They have courtyard areas for pets, and even provide bags and waste disposal! The square footage is by far the most for your money compared to other apartments in the area.

I have lived here for three years now and I absolutely love the location. We are right down the road from the highway so it is easy for me to get to work. Megan and Mackie are so friendly everytime I go to the leasing office with questions or to just grab coffee. The maintenance guys are also very helpful when it comes to any prepared or updates. It's also a very pet friendly place. If your looking for a new apartment I would defently check it out!

Staff, community and overall just a great place to be.

Alexander Park has some excellent, spacious floorplans with all necessary amenities. Kitchens are large with modern appliances stocked and washer/dryers are included. Rates are very affordable for everything you get. Also comes with a decent gym, sleek pool area, and a cool community lounge with tons of cool features all for free. It's also a great place for pets, with nice parks to take your dogs out. The staff are also incredibly helpful. They are always responsive and do everything they can to assist their residences. The only downside of the complex is the limited parking. Otherwise, it's an overall great place to live with great prices.

I simply marked my second lease at Alexander Park. I love this spot as a result of how wonderful it is! Extremely uncommon and extensive!! What's more, it feels like home, not a condo. The property is well-kept up. The staff is astonishing, particularly Megan She generally makes me feel increased in value (Thanks to Amanda also for getting me an offer arrangement at my beginning). The pool and clubhouse are astounding. Also the Starbucks café. I profoundly prescribe Alexander Park!!

Moving from Cincinnati was so much easier thanks to the wonderful staff at Alexander Park! Megan and Mackie are both incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I always felt comfortable asking them questions, and they spent so much time with me throughout the move-in process. The apartment itself is beautiful, all of the interior finishes are renovated/recently updated, and I was lucky enough to have brand new carpet upon move-in! Even though I have only lived here for about a month, I can tell that AP is a great community and place to live. The staff truly cares about the happiness of the residents, and I feel lucky to call this my home.

I’ve lived here for over 5 years and love it. The location is great and so are the amenities: nice gym, awesome pool, Starbucks! I also really like the new management that took over about a year ago. Since then utility costs have gone down and the organized events have gotten better! There are pet events, painting parties, etc and they actually ask the residents what we’d like to do. We even voted to get recycling pick up at our doors once per week! Overall a great place to live with very accommodating management.

I love this place because of how beautiful it is ! Really special and spacious!!And it feels like home not an apartment. The amenities are amazing five star ! gym and Starbucks coffee Miami style pools and the management is everything here.

Finding a new home, especially when you're a foreigner, is always a tricky process. We arrived in the USA on a Sunday, and started our search Monday with previous information available on Internet. Since the beginning, other places seemed to be pretty similar to each other. The size of the apartments were pretty similar, and renting conditions were pretty much the same. On Tuesday, after having my share of disappointment visiting apartments for rent, I almost had given up of visiting the units available at AP. But, boy, how glad I am that I hadn't! Megan and Mackie were extremely helpful with us from the beginning of the process until the end of it. Megan showed us a 2 bd apartment that we fell in love with and made us to reconsider all the previous bad experiences we had had until then. The unit was, per se, gorgeous, with fairly new and modern appliances, lots of space, very well maintained and on the upper floor. Right where we wanted it. Having decided to apply for it, the process could not be more straightforward and we were even lucky enough to be eligible for their special employer's program (that offered discount to employees from determined companies) and the October's discount. Thanks to AP, now the process of adaptation to a new city has been way easier. Now we know that commuting has a lower time to the city centre than we thought and there are options to that through public transportation. The location is also home to several shopping options. In the AP apartment community we have access to a beautiful club with a gorgeous pool, a waterfall, grilling area, a 24/7 fitness center, a business and study center, and complimentary Starbucks Coffee machine. There's enough parking space and garages for rent to. However, we can say that, definitely, what made us to apply for a place here and stay was the fact that we immediately felt at home there. Before moving to Columbus, I thought it would take my husband and I a couple of weeks until we would be ready to commit to a place to live. Less than 24 hours after the first visit to Alexander Park. we were signing the papers and moving in within 2 days. Megan and Mackie patiently explained everything we need to know about the process and, literally, walked us through our new home. They are as efficient as AP itself! Great grounds, wonderful apartment, amazing facilities and the best management team who go out of their way to make sure everything runs perfectly and smoothly. I could not have asked for more from the AP complex: great pool, full-equipped 24/7 gym, free Starbucks coffee and popcorn all within a beautiful Clubhouse. Plus, I get to meet and greet the four-legged neighbors who come by to get some free treats every now and then. Perfect place to live!

We have had such a great experience living at Alexander Park. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure we are taken care of and happy. The know our names and faces and we always love seeing them. The apartment is in fantastic shape; we have new carpet and cordless blinds, which is great for us since we have a baby. We love the pool and the coffee bar!

Megan and her team are incredibly accommodating and examples of what a property management group should aspire to be. When I first moved into Alexander Park, I was new to the area, Megan and her team made my transistion to Worthington and easy and enjoyable one. My 1 bedroom is very spacious and well built. The apartment building is quiet and neighbors are as well. I have no complaints and highly recommend Alexander Park.

When a king sized mattress that I had ordered came in to the AP office (when it should've gone to my front door), the team at AP didn't just turn a blind eye or tell me to figure it out myself. They took it upon themselves to lobby on my behalf to the delivery man, and when he rudely told them that he just "didn't want to carry it up there," they wrote down his license number in case I wanted to file a complaint. To help with heavy packages, they normally offer a dolly or would call in a special favor from Brian (the awesome maintenance guy here) but those options weren't available at the time and it was almost time for the staff to leave. So what did Amanda and Megan do? They personally helped my carry my heavy mattress to my building and up two flights of stairs all the way to my front door. They didn't ask anything in return. Have you have heard of an apartment staff that nice? It's like having the best neighbors ever!

We have lived here over 2 years. Megan and the rest of the team do an amazing job taking care of any issue we have. They added numerous parking spots which makes parking a breeze. For the price the apartments are amazing and really huge. You will definitely live in luxury with these luxury apartments.
