Alexander Village is a wonderful place to stay. The location is very convenient, as I can quickly access I-85 within around 2 to 3 minutes. The community is absolutely beautiful and the maintenance team ensures the grounds are kept clean. This makes for a wonderful walk around the neighborhood. The leasing staff are always friendly and quickly respond to requests. The area I stay does not have too loud neighbors and overall I have enjoyed my stay here. It should be noted that there are a few noise issues if you are sensitive to sounds like I am. Sometimes neighbors do slam their doors due to the hinges on the doors. You also may be able to hear your neighbor walk under you if they are heavy footed, (as I stay on the 3rd floor but can hear my neighbor walk under me.) The pond area is beautiful but during spring, summer and fall their are frogs in the pond that are extremely loud. But again, no community is perfect, but I have truly enjoyed residing at Alexander Village and would recommend it to others. Inside the apartment is also truly beautiful as well.

This apartment complex is everything I dreamed of. Open floor plans with an island in the kitchen. The island is my favorite part. Being on the third floor I get this amazing view of the sunset. And the next best thing is the valet trash. They are always so nice.

Amenities are lacking big time in comparison to other complexes around the area, close to the same price range, but NEWER. Gym - usually unclean. Clubhouse - usually busy past 10pm - have had to call the already taxed courtesy officer to kindly inform tenants and most times non-tenants to vacate the building way too many times. And is getting consistently worse. Many times is in use by large crowds past 11pm. Unfortunately too many times these 'guests' take over the parking spaces that WE RENTERS pay to be able to use. Pool - grill - awful condition (for over a year) Pool - Fire Pit and fireplace (not working for over a year) Pool - Family area - Many, many, many times - smokers on the grounds, smoking visibly (in a community that is entirely smoke free). Car Wash - vacuum hasn't worked for weeks, and the water hose is usually broken or the water pump does not work. Too many times we've had to dispute charges on the monthly recurring bill. I was a victim personal property theft, filed a police report - but property manager failed to follow up to assist in the filing an incident report.

Living here at Alexander Village has been a pretty good experience for the most part. I chose one of the cottages. It is very spacious with a nice size front porch and a pretty large back patio deck. The gym is a great place to work out and the pool is nice but not deep enough. Even though my stay here was good, there are some things to look out for. My car was broken in to last December two weeks before Christmas. That made me get a security system for my apt. Maintenance set off my alarm while I was out of town for a work order I never put in for. And it looks like someone was picking at my back patio door lock. Lastly, the cable, trash and pest control fee of $106 will be added to your already high monthly rent. You get only a handful of cable channels so it's not even worth it but, they make the fee mandatory. You pay for your own water and sewer. All in all, good quiet place with friendly neighbors and good office staff.

Alexander Village is awesome! Meghan ROCKS! I would recommend going to checking out the apartments!
I looked at a lot of apartments but Alexander Village is by far the greatest! The kitchens are spacious and the flooring is really nice. The staff seems to e really friendly and knowledgeable, we toured with Meghan and she was great. I would recommend living with Alexander Village.
The grounds are always very nice and the amenities make it luxury living. You can tell the staff is very well trained and knows what they are doing. Meghan always greets us with a smile and is happy to answer any questions.
Meghan has been the best when it comes to customer service!
Alexander Village is a great community! The staff is absolutely amazing, especially Meghan. She was very helpful. The apartments are great, I liked the kitchen.
We love living here! It's centrally located, on beautiful well-kept grounds, great amenities, and has a great staff! Meghan, in particular, is awesome. She genuinely cares about everyone and strives to make us feel valued. You can tell she loves her job!
I have a dog and it's hard enough trying to find a place but Meghan V. was amazing. She made me and my dog Coco Thunder feel like a priority. When I officially move I'm hoping this becomes my new home.
Meghan is great at what she does! Super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
I'm new to the area and met with Meghan who was so friendly and wonderful. She went out of her way to show me the units as well as sharing the sites to see around town! Such amazing staff and management.
This property is beautiful! Enjoyed my tour with Meghan V, she has the best attitude and is so helpful! We will definitely be living here once the house sells, best location and staff that we've seen.
I visited several communities before I made a decision to rent at Alexander Village. This is a great community, the apartments are beautiful and modern, the grounds are immaculate and very well maintained, and the entire staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks Meghan for showing me the unit several times and you were always so pleasant and extremely helpful.
I cannot say enough kind words about Alexander Village. I decided to live here for my senior year of college and I'm ecstatic that I did. Ashley, the Assistant Community Manager, will bend over backwards to answer any questions and handle all requests. And Rene, the maintenance worker, is friendly and fast! Called about a fire alarm battery going dead and he was there in five minutes to fix it. I didn't expect that at all. As far as the apartment itself, they are very nice. The unit that we selected I believe is a little small but they have larger units available that I should have chosen. The appliances, flooring, and lighting are all top notch. I give the community itself a five-star rating for its upkeep and atmosphere. I feel as if everyone here minds each other and cleans up after themselves. If you're looking to get away from the college scene around UNC Charlotte and want a peaceful, quite, fun, and beautiful apartment, then definitely check out Alexander Village.
We love living at Alexander Village. a great convenient location to 85/485 and downtown We chose the beautiful little cottages that they have near a walking path. Perfect for us. The amenities are great, and the maintenance staff have been wonderful.(love Rene'/Marcelo!) The leasing staff especially Meghan have been so very helpful and supportive. Questions, suggestions ( more free weights) . they were on it. The property is kept clean, pool well maintained and neighbors are friendly.
I feel so unsafe here. Recently there were burglaries and theft happen at multiple units in broad daylight. An unknown individuals or individuals entered residents units through the deadbolt french patio door and stole items. Sounds so suspicious. Management is incompetent and slow at communicating safety information to the residents about this incident. I encourage you to NOT let the beautiful exteriors fool you. Easily the worst mistake I ever made.
The development is brand new so the exterior you can tell they are still developing. The interior and layout is great, awesome appliances and flooring. A few of my outlets don't work however and there is no overhead light in living room. Also, the walls are thin... I can hear my neighbor walking around above me and can hear people on the stairway outside next to the bedroom. Amenities are great, fast wifi in the gym and pool area, always clean and relatively empty usually. They just added the car cleaning center which is great and saves me a bunch since the vacuum and washer are free.
Crescent Alexander definitely goes beyond apartment living. Crescent Village is several steps up from regular apartment living with the luxury it provides. It is tucked away just north of downtown Charlotte. The surrounding area is also very beautiful and new. I love coming home to the luxuries of my spacious one bedroom apartment as well as the luxurious amenities through out the entire property. Living at The Crescent Alexander gives you the feel of the city without sacrificing a thing that the city have to offer. I absolutely love it here!
The Good: I love my apartment. I was worried it would be too small based on the sq ft. But once I got in - everything worked out perfectly. Everyone that comes over loves my place. The hardwood floors are actually wood and not that wood like tile stuff. The appliances are all new and stainless steel. The kitchen is so nice, the bathroom is nice. My power bill is never really that high even though I usually keep something running all the time. (I think this is due to the new energy efficient appliances). Maintenance responds to request within minutes it seems.-- I had an issue with my toilet leaking a little bit of water, I called and expected them to be out by the next day, i left and came back and it was fixed within a couple of hours. The office staff are all really nice and cool and being that I was one of the first to move in I got a great rent special. The Bad: The thin walls- I can hear everything around me. I'm not sure if my walls are super thin or if my neighbors are super loud, but I can hear them. Especially the upstairs neighbors. I swear there is a circus going on up there every day all day... The parking is bad too. Too many visitors and not enough spaces. I wish they didn't have those garages up: to sum it up, 6 garages takes up about 10-12 parking spaces. I am usually busy thru the day and get my grocery after work at night by the time I get home I have to park down the hill, and then walk up to the 3rd floor-- I'm beat LOL . Specifying visitor parking would help with this. Overall, I love it here.. I don't want to move. I hope when it comes to renewal time my rent doesn't sky rocket because I would definitely renew. The location is great too. I live really close to work and the highway.
This is a great community to live in if you work in or around the Charlotte area. The location is great in that it is central. It will take you literally 2 minutes to get to I-85, which means you can be in downtown Charlotte in 12 minutes. Now I know what you're thinking - 'it's probably very noisy". It's not! Its a quiet community with a low traffic flow because we are not in the midst of all the shops and businesses. Many of the other apartments in the area are off of busy streets or intersections, which makes getting in and out a nightmare. As far as eating options, There are plenty of restaurants within a 3 mile radius, yep that's right 3 miles. There is a Trader Joe's, Harris Teeter, Walgreen's, urgent care clinic, and plenty of gas stations within those 3 miles as well. Now lets talk about the part that really matters...the actual apartments! Overall the apartments are really great - we are in a 1B/1B. The entry way into the apartment is great and the aesthetic as a whole gives you more of a home feel rather than an apartment. There are laminate wood floors throughout with carpet only in the closet and bedrooms (huge PLUS). The kitchen is very well put together with granite counter tops, a stainless steel under-mount farmhouse sink and subway tile backspalsh. The appliances are stainless steel and there are nice tall darkwood cabinets through out the kitchen. There is plenty of cabinet space but not much pantry space, which I think isn't such a bad trade off. The island is wonderful and makes for a great entertainment space. Within the island is a double trash can so your trash isn't out in the open which I love. The family room/dining area/kitchen has a great open concept, again perfect for entertaining. The bedroom is a little on the tiny side, but I think these days more people spend time outside of their bedrooms, hence the great space for entertaining. The bathroom is spacious and it leads straight to the closet which is big enough for two people. The washer and dryer are inside the closet (stackable) which is a great space saver. The balcony is a great space with enough room to fit a few chairs and small table, I just wish it wasn't so close to your neighbors. More privacy in that aspect would be great. The community offers a great gym with state of the art equipment. The pool area is awesome with plenty of chairs and a cabana plus its salt water - great for your hair and skin!! I could keep going but unfortunately I'm out of characters :-(
