Property Ratings at Alexandria at Mansfield Apartments
There are a lot of people who have pets in this complex but they say no pets allowed. If you have allowed one person to have pets you cannot claim to be a no pet complex. The maintenance people that live in the complex have 3 big dogs. I see small dogs, cats and so on in this complex. What is allowed for one should be allowed for all. The maintenance is horrible and rude. I have lived here for many years and I would not recommend living here to anyone. I have had mold issues in my bathroom for 3 years now and they have yet to do something to actually get rid of the mold. I have to scrub my bathroom ceiling to floor regularly due to the mold. They put the blame on me advising me to shower with the door and bathroom window open. I have lived in the same apartment for 13 years and this just started about 3 years ago.
We have lived here for almost a year. We love our apartment. The rooms are huge, plenty of room in the closets which makes for great storage. We had an issue with our dishwasher leaking water and it was replaced by the time i got home from work. The grounds are beautifully kept, playground is new. you are literally walking distance to the Donaldsons Farm with amazing fresh produce and fun family activities on Friday nights. A lot of shopping less than 5 mins down the road. The only thing i wish were different were the pool hours. We didn't pay the $100 to join because they don't open it until July i believe and the hours are late morning to early evening. I wish we could stay here for another year but we want to live closer to our jobs.
My apartment is in a great location and the maintenance team is pretty on top of things here. Snow is removed in a timely manner and the grounds are always well maintained and attractive. I haven't had anything break in the 9 months I am here but I see the maintenance people in my neighbors apartment on occasion. Parking is my only gripe. I have a back problem and prefer to park close to my door and there are several abandoned cars taking up space in my lot. I've complained a lot and the landlord says the town police cannot tow a car without a bill of sale. He also told me there are about 20 abandoned cars throughout the complex. This makes me unhappy, especially in bad weather when I have groceries!
We love living here. The grounds are kept very nice. And it is a great place to raise kids.
