Property Ratings at Aliso Briargate Apartments
The buildings are more often than not dirty. From the elevators to the stairs, the place is always stinky. I was never able to get them to clean any of it, and was told it was not a priority to them. I would not recommend.

This place is something else. We rent the top floor with a beautiful view but that is about the only good thing about living here. This place has gone downhill quick. Most recently all of the residents were told we can’t have a grill on our balcony and it needs to be removed immediately, which is one of the reasons we got the bigger balcony and obviously pay more for it. They can change anything at will, and do. Come on management! Do you want people to live here or not? We pay way too much to not have the ability to have these things, without an adjustment to rent or something. No amenities, since I work during normal business hours. The pool is the only amenity available during normal business hours. We have a gym but can't use it (due to COVID). Gyms are open why can’t this one be open? They have said we are working on it, ( this has been months as well) although to be used during business hours again. The grounds are pretty bad with dog poo, and a small park for the dogs that only 2 people can be in at a given time. We have 500 + residence here, probably half with dogs. Need something fixed, that is going to take a while. Sure, the apartment itself is nice, but nothing else nice to say about the community. GET IT TOGETHER!
DO NOT SIGN a contract at this apartments. Horrible customer service and horrible ethics from this company. I moved in 5 months ago and I been dealing with some health issues and had to get a Leave of Absence from work without pay. In January I tried to talk to the managers and explaining that I was having trouble recovering from a surgery that I had back in October and that I was not going to be able to work until I was fully recovered (approximately 2 months). I explained to her that I knew I was not going to have any income for to 2 months making it impossible to pay my February and March rent. I also explained that I just didn’t want to get behind and stop paying rent so I would like to see what paperwork I needed to break my lease for medical reasons. Only to be told they don’t care if I’m sick or dying ( it’s on the lease) you still have to give 2 months notice plus pay 2 months rent to break the lease. That is $5400 that you have to pay to get out of their lease not matter what. Now is February and of course I could not pay my rent so yesterday February 6 I got a letter saying that I need to pay my rent or move out in 10 days. I think is crazy how they think is ok to do this to someone that is already going thru hell because of health issues and tried to explain to them the situation before you even get evicted from your apartment. Now I got evicted from my apartment and I still have to pay this apartments $ 4000. Do not sign a lease at this apartments unless you are 100% you will never get sick, loose your job, because they don’t care about you, your family or anything other than getting money from you.
I guarantee you will not find another apartment complex in Colorado Springs with these amenities. There is a heated pool , was just in it today in the snow, hot tub, cabanas , free Starbucks coffee, nice gym and aerobics room, game room with pool table, free arcade games , fully functioning community room with refrigerator, ice maker, microwave and plenty of space for entertaining. On top of all of that management is always throwing events for the guest with free food, drinks and give always. To top it all off the apartments have all of the top finishes. Has there been some hiccups, yes, but that is expected with new complexes however anytime we have had an issue they have responded and fixed it immediately. The staff here , from the leasing office to include management to the maintenance crew are always working hard and trying to make everything perfect. When we moved here it was supposed to be temporary until we bought a house but it has been so awesome we do not want to leave. To top it all off you will have the best views of anywhere in the city. You will not find another apartment in the Springs with these finishes, amenities and views
