Property Ratings at Alister Parx II
Here are a list of the top issues I have faced with this apartment community: 1) Property upkeep is very poor. There is litter everywhere and management does nothing to prevent it and very rarely cleans it up. Trash will lay around for days and it doesn't help that the garbage bins are over flowing. 2) Monthly Rent is to high for what your are receiving. 3) The upgraded apartments are barely what you can label as "upgraded". You pay extra for fake stainless steal appliances and poorly painted cabinetry. 4)Maintence is not quick to resolve problems and it will take several visits before an issue is fully resolved or in 1 case of ours, still not resolved. 5) No garages but we were told we could rent one from the sister property next door when signing our lease, but that ended being false information. 6) Parking is horrendous! There is not enough parking available for this community and you only get 1 assigned parking spot. 7) The apartments are small. 8) The pool is not heated and is freezing. Here is the list of positive things about this community: 1) The office staff is friendly. They will remember your name and even your kids' names. Despite your personal attitude, you will always be greeted with a smile 2) Location is a convenient to I5 and shopping 3) Neighbors will smile at you despite not knowing you 4) Playground is a large area for kids to run and play 5) Plenty of closets in the home For me personally, the positives did not out way the negatives. So when making a decision for a new apartment home, all of the positives and negatives need to be weighed with each other. So you may make an informed decisions be happy about your new home. Unfortunately for me I did not do so before signing a lease here. I do not recommend this property because of all the negatives I faced but for others the positives might mean more to future renters. So make your decision but I recommend doing your research first and truly looking at every aspect before signing a lease here.

The management here at Beacon is very nice and patience. We have a nice pool and playground. I do not have any complaints. This is a very nice family oriented apartment building.
