Property Ratings at Allegre Pointe
I moved in about a month ago and recently found out someone was murdered in my building the apartment did not disclose this information to me
Excellent apartment complex. I lived here for about a year and a half on the first floor. The units are clean and spacious. I never really had any maintenance issues but if I did, they were always super quick for repairs. The property is well taken care of and maintained, office staff is nice and helpful. Everyone is quite respectful of others so I never really had noise issues. Hands down the best complex I've lived in.
After staying here for a year (2019) Here are some reasons in no particular order that made me upset with the community. 1) Changing the parking policy and not producing proper prior notification causing our car to be towed. Management only offered an apology and were unable to get us back our money for the tow. ($300+) 2) The neighbors smoke inside their house and it seeps Management took forever (3+ weeks) to come and do something about it and in the end they’ve only minimized the smell by slightly blocking the outlets. 3) The electricity is always going off throughout the day. I constantly find my alarm clocks all reset because of the power going out. 4) There’s only one Trash bin in the whole complex and it’s always full. 5) The gate is broken very often and it allows for everyone to get in so that’s just a false sense of security. 6) The treadmills have not worked the couple of times I’ve been so there was no point for me to keep going. All in all - not good management.
So, I'll try to give the short story. Pipes have been clocked for months. They've tried to bill me for blinds (that I never touched.) They haven't started valet trash although that is the excuse they provide with rental rates being raised. They began a new policy for parking with tags, but did not ensure that all residents were provided with signed documents and cannot verify that everyone was informed. My rental car (parked for 1 night) was towed. I asked for documentation, signed a month ago and they did not want to provide it. When I went to the office Melinda said she did not want to deal with it. Mike (the "manager") ran out of the office. Additionally, they did not provide login information for parking passes and no instructions on how to fill out a guest pass. And then when I got upset, she called the police. I've lived there for 4 years! All I wanted was answers and they didn't provide them at all. That's all I asked for, answers and documentation. This is a low income property, to which I do not qualify. So I am one of FEW that pay full rent. I pay on time each month and you refuse to help me and call the police. I did not threaten anyone. I demanded answers as a long term tenant. And to add insult to injury, there are bugs all the time. They say that an exterminator is coming and I've taken the day off to wait and no one came. Just crappy!
They have really nice apartments and are maintained very will by their maintenance staff, however the customer service as far as the Manager Mike and the Assistant Manager Melinda is terrible. I turned in my notice to vacate an entire 6 months early due to their lack of professionalism. I have attempted to get their regional managers information but they refuse to give it out. I will be very happy to leave Allegre Point. The ant problem in these newer apartments is ridiculous. I constantly ask for pest control for the past couple of months and the issue is still not resolved. It's more than annoying to be infested with ants, especially since I am not a dirty person nor do I have crumbs all over my apartment. They are everywhere!! When you go into the office and ask for assistance they act as it is such a task to assist you. Furthermore, they have a horrible record for misplacing packages! They are not open on most weekends which is very annoying due to the fact you can't ever get anyone on the phone to help you. I am sooo happy to be moving!! This was the worst decision I have ever made, I would rather live back on Rundberg!!!
I love the location of my apt. It's not in the heart of everything but it close to everything. Downtown, local stores, parks and food are all with a short distance. Perfect for a college student or small family. Being that this is a newer building, I haven't had many problems but the office crew is very helpful when I need something, especially Julianne.
These apartments are great, it is an awesome environment to be around also very child friendly. These apartments provide a playground, pool as well as track and doggy park! How cool is that? The staff are reasonable and will help you in any and every circumstance at hand. There are also so many great food places circling the apartments so if you are hungry... you wont be for long!!! I enjoy living here very much.

I feel very safe at this apartment. Anytime I need anything they always call me back and are very prompt.
Maintenance is great , respond very promptly and fix the issue . Office staff is very kind.
Price for rent is super reasonable here and the staff cares about their tenants and never rude. The apartments are being well taken care of .

SO. Let me warn off anyone who plans on coming to lease here...YES the property is beautiful. YES the pricing looks great. I came on Saturday, 2 days ago to look at the property and from the very beginning it was an absolutely horrible experience. The managers are SO very rude ! The woman,Lisa, who was doing my paperwork and giving me the tour was telling me that it was her first day (because she knew absolutely nothing) and that she didnt like the way they conducted business so I would probably never be seeing her again (why would she tell me that???). 2nd, the pricing on the website is untrue and the manager, Mike, gave a complete bs excuse for this...no matter the reason, people are interested in apartments according to information they see ONLINE, so shouldnt it be most imperative to be sure that it is CORRECT ?? And then when I changed my mind on which apartment I wanted to lease, they acted as if I was the burden. I also paid the hundreds of dollars in a deposit and was put on a "waiting list" but do you think they could still give a concrete answer on when the apartments would be ready?? NO. Must be too much to ask for them. I could go on and on but the long story short is rude management that had no clue what was going on and could care less about anything. Hopefully the price and quality make up for it.
