Property Ratings at ALLISON APARTMENTS
Moved in Dec 2023, and everything has been great the only issue is hard time parking at night close to my apt. I work longer hours and by the time I get home can't park close, and I am older woman with difficulties walking. the community is very clean and you bearly here the traffic if your close to main road, Love it here.
This apartment is great! I live on the second floor end unit close to the main highway. My neighbors are quiet, and no smoke smell like I have read in other reviews. Plenty of parking and can't wait for the pool to open! The gym is always clean and its actually really nice! My only complaint would be the AC not working. I have called maintenance a couple of times and am awaiting them to come and fix it before it reaches 100 degrees on Friday and Saturday. Besides that AC issue, this is my favorite apartment by far and I am hopeful to sign another years lease! If you are thinking about choosing Allison Apartments, do it!
This place seems and for the most part is great. But if you’re applying their rules dictate that any and all parties individually have to make 3 times the rent on their own. This wasn’t something apparent until the application is filled out. So applying is actually disappointing if you’re someone starting out. :/
My husband and I lived in Allison Apartments for 5 years until we moved out of state for my husband's job. Overall, Allison is a nice complex. We had a 1 bedroom deluxe, which was a nice size and good price. Utilities are included except electricity, so it's a great deal when comparing it to other complexes in the area. It's also relatively quiet and a well-maintained complex. However, my car got stolen from the premises while it was parked in front of my door. There's a pathway right next to our building that people use to get to the local Walmart and there are non-residents using it very frequently. We asked if there was any way it can be blocked off for residents only and they said no. It made me feel a lot less safe since they didn't seem concerned. Also, about 3 weeks after we moved in a maintenance person was watching Netflix during their lunch hour in our apartment while they were remodeling the unit next door. We know this because we would get home from work and there would be programs half-watched on our Netflix "previously watched" list that we never watched before and stopped once the remodel was done. When we moved in Allison was a "No dogs" complex and at some point they changed without telling anyone. We found out when a dog started living next door and they started building a "dog park". It would have been nice to be informed about such a large policy change, especially since many people chose this complex because of there were no dogs. If you plan on living at Allison short term it's a decent place, but if you have the means to live somewhere nicer I would keep your options open.

Thank you so much for the nice review. We appreciate residents like you.
Have lived at Allison for 24 years now, and have enjoyed my time here. Maintenance is excellent. Karen and everyone in the leasing office are knowledgeable and friendly. Have had no problems or complaints in all my time here. They're stuck with me for many years to come hopefully!
I live in a very quiet complex . My neighbors are friendly but not over the top . We watch out for each other and keep an open for strangers .
Well-maintained two-story apartment blocks located about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia. Large back porch area with sliding glass door. Kitchen is bigger than any apartment I've lived in so far, nice dining area and plenty of room of an L-shaped couch. Bathroom is a little small, but actually has counter space, not just a pedestal sink with a toilet rammed up next to it. Closet space is perfect for the two of us, but if you have a LOT of clothing, you may need to expand into the hallway closet. There is a community pool, laundry and even a small gym with treadmills and ellipticals. Our apartment has a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo, but that is optional and will raise the rent price. We are located about a 1/4 mile from the main road, so we hear absolutely no road noise. Neighbors are mostly older folks and young couples and everyone keeps to themselves. Not a happening party place (which is ideal for us). Electronic locks are cool, no need for keys, just place a FOB to your door and turn the latch. Never had a security issue in 2 years. In conclusion, if you like reasonably priced, spacious apartments with a patio area, community pool, and quiet, out-of-the-way living, this is the place for you. Excellent for young couples with or without children and older folks. PLENTY of parking, I never had to drive around for a spot.
Allison Apartments is a great place to live at the tenants are very nice people. Allison Apartments are owned by Davis Enterprises and they have great service, if there is something broken in your apartment you just call them and they wil come fix it. The reason these apartments didn't get the 5th star is because I think it looks too dark at night, they could add a little street lights. Also they should make more laundry rooms becuause some people have to walk a lot with their laundry clothes to get from their apartment to the laundry room. Otherwise everything else is good.
Overall the best value in the area with a lot to offer its tennants
