Property Ratings at Allura Las Colinas
Apt Review Let me start with the good: The Apartment itself is solid. No complaints! That’s where the good parts end. The staff has been neglectful, rude, and deceptive through out my stay here. I had to talk to them no less than SIX times to get them to change my contact e-mail because I was not receiving important communications from the apartment. This ultimately resulted in me being towed twice due to policy change that I was not made aware of. They had the audacity to tell me “they were working on getting you your money back”, only saying this once they knew I was leaving the complex. It’s been months and I’ll let you guess if I ever got reimbursed. They used it as a bargaining chip that I highly doubt they would fulfill. The property is disgusting. Trash drop off locations are never cleaned and trash is not taken care of in a timely manner meaning the rooms are often full of peoples rotting garbage. It permeates the halls on hot summer days (something we are only getting more of with each passing year). I can not overstate how much you should avoid this place if you are a dog owner. Beer bottles, broken glass, discarded moldy food is often found when walking around the property. I’ve seen a water-logged bible and bag of moldy biscuits sit there for a month. Once I even found a dime bag of white powder. I am not claiming it was drugs but based on how trashy the area is, the possibility is there. After three years here the decline was obvious. Even with no early lease termination clause I opted to move out and pay TWO rents as opposed to staying one more day on that property with disgusting conditions and inattentive staff. It’s obvious nothing will change until management is changed. I will never move into another Connor Group property and I would advise anyone reading to STAY WELL AWAY. As a finishing thought, I sincerely hope I do not get a canned response about how I should call the manager to discuss these issues further. These are not issues that should require an individual tenant to report. These are issues you can see by simply walking the property.
Ridiculously expensive for what you get, hidden fees everywhere, cheap sales tactics and very poor response times to maintenance requests. They charge $100 for parking in the garage, it's an additional $30 for getting a reserved spot. Don't even think about a parking spot with EV charging because they asked for an additional $200!!! Not sure if this was because I had turned in my move out notice by this time and they didn't care about my needs as a resident and were trying to milk as much money out of me as they could before I left. Anyway, that's $300 for parking in a garage where the gates don't even work for half the year. Trash, internet & water costs $250 a month and you don't get a choice. Around 5 months before my lease expired, they randomly knocked on my door one day and came with a pre-typed lease for the next year. Absolutely no concern about infringing on my privacy! They didn't even walk through the terms of the lease with me and tried to trick me into signing the document without letting me review it first. Thankfully I looked through it and realized that they were trying to raise my rent by an additional $100 for the next term. I said I'd get back to them in a month after shopping around for other options in the area but they wouldn't listen. Kept irritating me with constant phone calls and text messages, even showed up at my door unannounced again!! They only stopped bothering me after I officially signed a document that I will be moving out once my lease expires. This was 4 months before my lease expired, legally I shouldn't have to turn in a notice until 60 days before expiration but to me peace of mind was more important. Once I turned in my move out notice they stopped acknowledging me as a resident. The AC stopped working afterhours on a Friday evening and it was 95° outside. I called the emergency maintenance line and it kept going straight to voicemail. I was only able to get a hold of them on Saturday afternoon when they came and gave me an extremely weak window unit which barely cooled the bedroom. They didn't fix the HVAC until Tuesday evening, that is 72+ hours without air-conditioning during a week where outside temperatures were 105°. The entire area surrounding the trash chutes smells incredibly foul, I feel very sorry for the people living near it. I could keep going, but the bottom line is don't move here if you want peace of mind.
Worst community I have ever lived in my life. They have hundreds of dollars in hidden fees. STAY AWAY FROM ALLURA LAS COLINAS. When I had moved out, I thoroughly cleaned the entire space to the best of my ability. I had requested the lease agent to inspect the apartment with me, so that if required I can clean again; but unfortunately, they were unavailable and declined to do so. It had come to our attention that rats and roaches were present in the apartment prior to our move-in. The rat caused damage to my luggage, clothing, and food items. It attempted to damage the carpet under the toilet door to facilitate its movement. They gave me the final account statements $800 charge for full carpet replacement and $500 charge for pest control. These are not done yet; they added full re-pain fee $300; general cleaning fee $150; odor elimination fee $200; bathtub resurface $100 and anymore fees.
I would not recommend renting this residential home to anyone. The maintenance is terrible, and the property is not well taken care of. The landlord is extremely rude and only cares about making money, they don't care about their tenants. They are not friendly or accommodating at all. Overall, a terrible experience and I would advise anyone to steer clear of this property
Allura complaint: Disclaimer: This unfortunately in not my first poor review on Allura Las Colinas. For about a week now there has been a busted open can of plain Greek yogurt sitting in the stairwell on the second floor. With the heat the smell is putrid and has begun to mold. The trash route has ran a few times since I had noticed this. We are paying for “valet trash” pickup of $80 a month minimum yet here this sits. These are supposed to be luxury apartments but yet they are to be treated as such. Please see the “real reviews” on these apartments before signing a lease you won’t be able to get out of. - a disappointed tenant.
At Allura, the new manager Ms.Crystal took very care of my family and I. Anytime we had a problem she made sure that it was taken care of, my stay at Allura was very comfortable. Thanks to Ms.Crystal
I rented this apartment from out of state based on photos and interaction with The management team, particularly Taylor. The apartment was exactly like the pictures. The complex is quiet and pretty. Parking is in a garage with easy building access. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and correctly. Good location. Thank you Allura and Taylor for welcoming me home.
Never move in here! Stay away and run away from this place!!! Worst management, maintenance and ownership one can imaging dealing with! Take your hard earned money to a different place, they do not appreciate their tenants! In short, run!!!
Currently writing this while the eardrum shattering fire alarm is going off and this is a REGULAR OCCURRENCE!! I moved in beginning of October and 2 maintenance requests still haven’t been taken care of. My apartment was FILTHY when I moved inThe hidden fees are awful. You have to pay $99 to park in the parking garage, and we still Don’t have access . The mail situation has been a mess this holiday season. The staff seems nice to get you to leave them alone then nothing gets done. The gym equipment is on its last leg. I spend more time at my friends’ places because I don’t like being home! They’re charging way too much. BTW is 4 am .

This complex is nasty! Roaches and bedbugs! No emergency maintenance. I had to pay out of pocket for a plumber. My dishwasher doesn't work. Trash piled up to the ceilings. For real! Your staff act like children.
Phones are never answered, work orders are never filled. This apt went downhill since fall of 2019 smh
This apartment is in the perfect location. It is within 2-3 miles of 4 major grocery stores (Whole Foods, Kroger, Target, and Walmart). It is no more than 10-15 minutes away from both airports. It has small lakes in the back that are great for running or walking. A lot of foot traffic and I feel very safe here. However, the flaws with this apartment are that it has a lot of maintenance issues and terrible management. They market that these are luxury apartments, but they definitely are NOT. The only thing that may be "luxury" about them is the amount of square footage offered. I've been here since January and had to call the maintenance people 8 times for issues with my apartment. A lot of the issues weren't even resolved and are proof of poor overall maintenance and upkeep of the apartments. Oh and be prepared for the fire alarm going off for multiple days each month, stinky hallways because trash rooms left uncleaned, work out equipment that is unclean and barely work and bugs!! (wasps, bees, ants, etc.) Also, management here is terrible! Literally every time I went to the front office I saw a different person. They say this apartment complex is a training property for front office people, so there is a high possibility you will not talk to the same person twice! If you have any issues please get it in writing from the staff because if you have no proof of what was said the apartment will not uphold anything. They are literally no help and they will lie and say they will contact you or pass your issues along and they never do. Residents pay $75 to have our cars parked in the parking garage, yet my car got towed for not having a parking sticker which I was never given! When I go to the office I was told the towing amount was going to be credited from my rent. Turns out this was another lie from management and I was stuck with paying a towing ticket of over $300 from an apartment I LIVE at! Also beware of fees. They may offer you what may seem like a nice price rent but charge you for so many additional fees that your monthly payment comes out way more than you anticipated. To be brutally honest, this apartment complex is a pig in make up and I highly recommend anybody considering this place to truly weigh your options, and not be fooled like I was.
Run as far away as you can from this place. This property is owned by the Conner group and it is horrible
I’ve lived here for about 6 months and the experience has been awful. Management does not care, they don’t even make an effort to care at all. I recently had an accident where my property was stolen from my apartment after some repairs were made, they did absolutely nothing to help. They don’t return any of our calls and pretty much told us there was nothing they can do about it. They clearly gave out unit key to a technician to do the repairs but apparently they can’t provide us with any information what so ever. I signed a one year lease with this place and there’s no chance in hell I plan on staying here beyond that. I would leave now if I could. I write this only to prevent anyone interested in living here, DONT. You’d expect an apartment complex in Las Colinas wouldn’t have this issue but here we are. Avoid this place
Fake and unprofessional staff. Highly overpriced for the area. Tons of hidden fees they don't tell you about. Make sure to read the FINE PRINT because that's where they will get you. Extremely shady business.
Management is terrible and has frequent turnovers. All the managers and most of the staff I've experienced are more of sales people, and not good ones. They either don't respond or take forever to respond to maintenance requests, and they become much more responsive and friendly when it comes time to renew your lease. The property is absolutely trashed and like others have mentioned, they have inconsistent policies. You will have a lot of fees added on, and will potentially not be notified about these. Just take time to walk around the property ON YOUR OWN before considering renting here. You will see trash and pests, and trashy features such as spray painted signs. For the price, you should consider other properties. Highly advised to check out the property yourself, in addition to their walk through. Ask current residents what it's like before you rent...in case you're considering renting in the future (maybe it will get better?). For the last few years, it has been absolutely terrible.
Don’t trust management and what they say. I had very bad experience
If you look at the review history, this place use to be good. When The Connor Group bought it, they apparently turned that goodness bad. I've only experienced TCG's ownership, and can say that there's not much good to be had here. For the price, the property is poorly maintained, with some aspects of it being quite gross. Policies are inconsistently enforced. It seems these days you might be lucky if you get your maintenance requests answered. Office staff are sales people, not customer service, so expect them to sell to you, but not to follow through on requests nor complaints.
TRASH AND PESTS EVERYWHERE. This place is a biohazard! Ever since management has changed, this property has become absolutely filthy- littered with TRASH and with PESTS from MICE to COCKROACHES. The trash does not get collected and many times you can't even enter the trash disposal area, as there are bags full of decomposing trash all over the floor and the chute is backed up. Public areas are littered with debris and food and nobody maintains them. Due to this sanitation hazard, I have had mice and COCKROACHES in my apartment. Additionally, the entire floor smells horribly from the trash smell. On top of this, management makes no effort to clear this mess and it has been getting worse in the past few months, up to where I have to hold my breath while walking through the hallway. On top of this, if anything breaks down in your apartment, you will wait weeks to have anyone come by and fix it. Do not stay here! You will regret it!
I would highly suggest avoiding this place. Everything about it was incredibly shady. First they tell you there is a $399.00 application fee but then they run your card and bring you your receipt and it’s for $405.88 - some sort of processing fee that was never disclosed. Then they start calling all kinds of people that you did not authorize them to call and asking them all kinds of personal questions (again they were never authorized to call these people). Absolutely horrible place. I would suggest staying as far away as humanly possible.
Bad experience from manager Chesley I have been staying in Allura apartment for 3 years now. I recently upgraded from 2 Bedroom to 3 Bedroom in Sept 2018. I did all my paper work regarding the new lease with Manager Chesley and they made me signed couple of documents. On 03/09/2019 my car was towed away from the open parking spot inside the garage and I have to pay $ 298.30 to get back my car. On Monday 03/11 I went talk about this to the same manager Chesley and they said my car was towed because I did not have parking sticker on my windshield. I informed her that I was never given a parking sticker she was debating saying you moved in the previous management time and we are not responsible for that. I said okay fine so when I had signed new lease for the new apartment aren’t you supposed to give me. Do you know what she said its your responsibility to ask and get it as you signed the documents. The singed documents states you are responsible for placing the sticker on the windshield and I said I agree. But I asked did you ever gave me the sticker and she said it’s your responsibility to ask for that. I don’t understand their attitude. First of all they did not gave a parking sticker and also blaming me it was my responsibility to get the sticker from them. How the heck I know this. I won’t be renewing my lease this year and I recommend please stay away from this kind of attitude manager.
Office workers are nice enough, but they only send out notices to pay the rent or office hours during holiday, and only paper notices for alarm tests, not email. No consideration for when the water will be off or when we could move our cars because the garage was being steam blasted. There are no newsletters or get together events. Property used to be pristine and now is clean enough but no extra effort like the previous management group did. Luxury here seems to be in all the extra fees. We used to get to park for free, now there's a garage fee that gives no added value. There's even an HOA fee for some reason. No HOA meetings or any way to dispute the fees. Extra fees are set by the head office and no one seems to know how to send complaints upward. Trash fee is $38.88 when other apartments provide better service for $20 or less. There is no website link for rent payments or maintenance requests, you are forced to download an app to your smart phone, or go back the the 1990s to pay by paper check or call the office to submit a request. Paying rent by echeck imposes a $2.88 fee. I'm saving $400 a year by moving somewhere else just in the extra fees. The apartments are more spacious than others and nice enough. Balcony views reminded one of a Mediterranean Resort until the entire complex was painted yellow and brown. The location is great with many places nearby to walk to. It would be a nicer place to live if there were more community events and fewer unnecessary fees.
Great apartment but the only problem is that the best internet speed available is 25 mbps from ATT. Everyone I know has the option for better internet. I'm not really sure if it is the managements fault or ATT but for me this is a huge bummer since I work a lot from home. The location and staff are great and they have always been really nice and helpful. The apartments are really modern but not over the top (which I like). Overall I would recommend unless you want better internet, then look elsewhere.
I been in this apartment for 1.2 year and this is one of expensive old apartment which have very high electricity bills and very poor internet connection wiring. This apartment has very bad fire alarm system and had lot of lengthy faulty fire alarm going through midnight. They have very bad extermination team and still when you move out they charge you for any bugs in your apartment. This is a apartment which scams people with very high deposit and application fee and still during move out they claim false bills to make sure your deposit are nullified.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My fiance and I were assisted by Payton and Brittany. They were nice to us during the tour of the complex, however, they neglected to inform us of all the fees associated to living in Allura. I recall asking questions about utilities and any extra fees and the only ones they mentioned to us were in regards to water, sewer, internet and cable. When we were taken to the parking garage, they stated that parking was an additional cost if you wanted reserved parking, which was not the whole truth because apparently you still have to pay for parking, its just added into your rent, which would have been nice to know of beforehand. It wasn't until after paying the admin & app fee (which was about $400!) that we later find out that there are additional fees that were never mentioned to use beforehand. They charge you an HOA community fee of $11.31 a month, but that's not all. They also charge a common area fee for common areas such as gym, business center and garage lighting, which they state on average it is $7-$12 a month. Not only that, but you are also charged a valet trash, city trash and recycling fee for $38.88 a month. And that's not including what you will be charged for water and sewer, which it varies each month depending on use in your home for your floor plan. When I brought this to the attention of Payton and Brittany, they tried to make it seem like we were wrong and dismissed what we said, claiming they did tell us everything that comes with living there, which I know for a fact is not true. My fiance and I wasted money and time on this place. They tried to resolve the matter, by decreasing the rent we were given, but all we wanted was our hard earned money back, but according to them, there is nothing they can do about that, which I don't believe. That's all we wanted, our money back. I'm sure a big corporation that makes a ton a money could refund us back the $400 we spent after being lied to. We want to spare anyone else who looks into Allura Las Colinas, please don't waste your time and money on this place. If your heart does desire to see this place, make sure you ask all the important questions and make sure you are aware of exactly of what you are signing up for. You don't want to be in our position. This by far has been the most disappointing experience dealing with an apartment complex.
The people in the office are very nice and do the best they can to smooth over the bad business practices implemented by the new management company. Apparently they do not work for the management company; one told me they are not the property managers even tho he seems to work there. The office is now closed on Sunday and hours on other days vary. There is no resident portal on the website for rent payment or maintenance reporting. Residents are referred to 3rd party sites and apps and processing fees are passed on to the residents instead of being covered by the property management. They seem to be able to offer large bounties to new residents moving in, but cannot cover the $2.88 processing fee for rental payments, forcing us back to the 20th century to write checks. A new 'garage access fee' is being imposed even though there is no assigned parking or other benefit provided. Reserved spaces are available for an even larger fee. The apartments themselves are nice; the location is great and security seems to be a priority. We no longer have monthly resident get togethers, cookies at the gate or any other friendly group events. It's very sad to see poor management after having been treated to less money-grubbing owners in the past. I'll be moving soon.
I have been living here for the past 3 years, and it has been a wonderful experience. Specially with the new management, the residents are very happy! Danica , Britany and the entire team is very helpful and they try their very best to help the residents here at Allura. With my upcoming lease for the next year, they tried their very best to get me the best rate possible. Not only that, when I told them that I might need to move due to my job, they worked out of their way to get approvals to make sure I wasn't affected in my lease if such a thing happened. Unfortunately we have to move due to job, but the management team is still helping us, constantly communicating and easing our move-out process. I wish the very best to the Allura Team!
Let's start with the pros. Fast, great maintenance team (seems to be one person named Memo- good job to him). Responsive management team. Problems in other reviews about the garage are outdated. Parking is not a huge issue. Neighbors in the apartment are very quiet or the walls are insulated well but overall, you're in good company. Cons: If you have a problem with your unit, the only solution is to pay to fix it. Management was accommodating but always at my expense. Any unit off of Royal Lane facing the street is LOUD. Street noise all day/night long and a ridiculous number of revving motorcycles and cars. Long story short, I was in a noisy unit and in the process of trying to move, they charged a $500 transfer fee, deceptively tried to upsell me on a larger unit, and required me to extend me lease. Gotta give them credit for negotiating on certain things but it still would have costed me a significant amount so I ended up turning it down because it was cheaper to keep buying earplugs. I've slept in the living room furthest from the street my entire lease so far NOT the bedroom. That's how loud it is. My advice is to make sure the unit you're renting is thoroughly inspected before you sign that lease. If you run into problems, management will nickel and dime you to fix the issue. If you are certain the unit is good to go- sign the lease because everything else here you'll be happy with.
A month or so into my lease and I'm loving it. Everything is super convenient around the property. Danica made the move in process easy and also made the property extremely appealing during the tour. So I would definitely recommend her for any needs you have. Allura has provided pretty much everything I was looking for and they maintain the place really well. Love coming home to these apartments.
The apartments are safe and luxurious. The management is extremely good and helping. The apartments are well maintained.
Our swimming pool is more than beautiful! Other tenants will frequently utilize the 4 grills at the pool as well as enjoy the lush flora while sun-tanning in our oh-so mild summers. It is cleaned almost daily by grooming. I use the gym early in the day and it is never crowded. It is kept in a sanitary state but sometimes overhead music is loud for me. Dont have any pets, but pets are more than welcome. There is a dog-park with ramps as well as plenty of dog-stations surrounding the building! Landscaping is very punctual and precise, truly a very beautiful place to live. Palms of trees will overlap onto your patio which provides a sense of seclusion from the robust urban area surrounding Las Colinas - truly relaxing! Never had to use the business center or club-house however they seem very tidy and functional. Finding trash in the parking garage or along the property is almost a challenge. The door to door service in the evenings has been a life-saver for me to say the least! The floorplans are modern and spacious but still cozy enough to call a comfortable home. Finally, the Maintenance work done in my apartment has been impressive. Little work has been needed but it was always resolved before I could even consider it a negative.
I live in the penthouse. I chose it in part because I need the space and of all the larger apartments I saw, I took a shine to this one for several reasons. Having moved from a huge house I've accumulated a lot of stuff! I have lived here in Allura for four months now. The area is great and from our balcony we get a fantastic view. It's very close to my husbands workplace in Dallas and I love living near all the shops. Everything is nearby. The apartment itself has three good sized bedrooms (and a further gigantic games room with overhead projector and screen, fridge, icebox and microwave - all you would need!). Another big plus to living here in Allura is the quiet! Whatever time of day. Folks have a great time in the huge pool. I understand that the owners recently acquired Allura from another company who apparently was not so great. I am thinking some of the bad reviews may relate to those former owners. Brittany was my first contact here and I have always found her to be a delightful lady, friendly and helpful in every way. Honestly, she was another part of the reason I initially chose Allura for my home. Throughout my stay, she and all the other ladies (Mary, Kat, Mistie and Erin) are always first class. The manager lady too. I certainly don't recognize those reviews which are derisory. Maintenance by Memo is super great. A lovely guy and great at his job, quick too. Allura is undergoing updating and I've seen new lighting and carpeting, the fountain was fixed and there are new cabanas by the pool...... a superb new dog park is a great place for furry friends and trash collection great. Cars are safe now as Allura installed gates and cctv security. As I said, I'm happy here and will only leave to go back home to England next year. My time here has been great and I'm glad I chose Allura. I'm very happy here.
Imagine getting up and leaving for work or taking your child to school and soon as you open your door you immediately are hit with the stench of dog and trash. My child literally puts their nose in their shirt to hide the smell. Or paying rent to find a roach in your apartment before and after pest control. *whispers They're in the stairwell and hall. It's not me. Guess they smell the trash too. So much effort is put into fresh paint in the dungeon of a garage but not the inside of the apartment complex. Don't let the pics fool you. The only thing they offer luxury like is the office and outer landscaping. From the dingy hall flooring with the peeled paint the tile the walls the doors the lighting. Sub par. These are old apartments that were renovated horribly. I can't wait to move into another apartment in this great area. I pay quite a bit for an apartment and it's an absolute waste for Allura
Leasing office staff (Kat, Mary, Brittany and the rest of the staff) are really very helpful. They made the move-in experience very smooth. If any problems, they address it immediately and follow up after it has been taken care.
Beware, you are nothing but a source of revenue to these people. They will be incredibly friendly during the tour and may even give you a nice deal when signing your lease. Just know that they will certainly find a way to get their money back. Once you become a resident, they will nickel and dime you to death. These fees must go straight to corporate, because for the two years I have lived here they have never once cleaned the hallways or the garage. There is a thick coating of soot and dirt in the parking area, and there are tons of spit marks and dried trash juices in the hallways. The management tows cars religiously and are 100% cozy with the towing company. Even if you are a resident, they care more about the kickback from the towing company than they do about you. There are no warnings or second chances. They don't even post any signs warning guests where not to park. If your car gets towed by accident, or one of your guest’s car gets towed, expect no mercy whatsoever. This isn’t an uncommon occurrence as all of my neighbors have had their cars towed, some have been towed multiple times. I used to actually enjoy living here before the new property manager took over. The bills are higher, the maintenance is slower, and the office takes way longer to respond. Ever since the new woman arrived, it's been nothing but a headache. She's so condescending and confrontational. She has really dragged the place down, you can see it in the other staff too - they're no longer as warm or enthusiastic as they once were. It's such a shame what this place has become. Their management is in full damage control mode on social media. Read all the 4 & 5 star reviews carefully.
The Allura apartments are located in a great neighborhood but unfortunately they currently have a terrible property management staff and if it were possible I would have given them a '0' star rating. My assessment is based on numerous "lost" package deliveries, an unresponsive management team in regards to maintenance requests and a management team lacking of any professionalism in regards to tenant privacy. Also, as a male I'm unaffected by the parking garage but all of my female guests have felt uncomfortable and/or unsafe while walking through the garage. Guests are required to park on the fifth floor and are required to walk a considerable distance to the stairwells or elevator; even if they are visiting a unit which would be considered near the guest parking area. It is my opinion that your rent dollars will be spent wisely somewhere else.
The management here is dismissive and does not care about their resident complaints. The garage was pressure washed and I had parked on the appropriate floor and my car was covered in dirt and debris. I took it to have it cleaned and found damage to the hood of my brand new vehicle that had just been detailed with a protective coating by the dealer that day. They are refusing that it was their wrong doing during the washing of the floor above where my car was parked. Do not rent from this apartment.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback and we are so sorry that you feel we were not responsive to your concerns. As soon as our property manager was made aware of your concern, you were in immediate contact with her. We proceeded to investigate the vehicle and the area in which you were parked. Our regional supervisor was also made aware of your concerns almost immediately upon you bringing them to our attention. The garage floors are thoroughly swept and cleaned prior to the power washing and the only evidence of the power washing found on your floor was some of the water that had dripped down. After taking photographs and investigating the surrounding area, unfortunately, we could find no evidence that would suggest that the mark on your hood occurred in our parking lot or as a result of our power washing. We understand that is not what you wanted to hear from us and we are sorry. If you have any additional information to provide us, please do not hesitate to contact the front office and we will do our best in helping you get this situation resolved.

The property itself looks nice, and in very nice area. However, 1st attempted showing i was turned away as it was 20 mins prior to closing time. The 2nd attempted showing, i was turned away as it was 1015am and the office did ot open until 11am. To top things off, a current resident walked in and argued with the manager about his car being towed and/or fined. It seems the garage was being pressure washed and informed tenants they needed to vacate the garage. Whatever the case, i did not find the brand-new Mercedes benz driving property manager, to be very helpful or sensitive to the needs of current or possible future tenants.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are so sorry that you had a poor first impression of our community and thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. We do have a national policy among all of our communities nationwide that we do not tour apartments after dark. We are looking for better ways to ensure that information is notated on all directories in which our business hours are listed but many of those directories, including Google, do not offer a way for us to do that. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. It is my understanding that you returned on Wednesday morning in which our hours are currently listed as 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is our understanding that our team member did indeed assist you prior to 11:00 am because she recognized you as having visited the evening prior. If this is not accurate, please contact the community manager and let us know so we may address it further with our team. We are currently power washing our garage area and have sent numerous communications via letters, flyers and emails to all of our residents throughout the weeks leading up to the power wash and still daily. Any cars that are still parked in the lot the morning of the power wash received a personal phone call from the office in the case that the car was registered with us. In the event that we were unable to reach the owner of the vehicles still parked in the lot, we were forced to have them towed. We completely understand how having a vehicle towed would cause frustration which is why we only did so after exhausting all efforts of reaching the owner. We are sorry that you had to hear that exchange and we can assure you that very few vehicles were towed as a result of this power washing process. Lastly, we are confused about your comment as it relates to the Mercedes Benz as our manager does not own, nor does she drive a Mercedes Benz. Is it possible you have her confused with someone else that you may have spoken with? We thank you for considering Allura Apartments as your new home and again apologize that your initial impression of us was not a more positive one.

When we first moved in, everything was wonderful. Just had some issues lately that was delayed in getting fix. Overall, not bad to live. Love the area.
