Camp Springs borders Andrews AFB along its eastern side, and several large parks surround the town. Washington DC is a short 12 miles northwest and is easily accessible by the Metro. Built in 1945, Andrews AFB is well-known as the home of the 89th Airlift Wing, which includes Air Force One -- the plane used to transport the President. Management very uncaring,don’t get sick or have a tragedy in life because they will not care , matter of fact they will make your life harder .. I’m very disappointed, very much !!
Some may be reading these reviews and find it somewhat suspicious that these reviews are all positive, I would’ve thought the same thing if I was on the hunt for an apartment. I’m here to tell you these reviews are the truth. I have lived in these apartments for over a year now. I recently renewed my lease which I wasn’t planning on doing prior to the management change. The management changed in April 2021 and they go above and beyond in solving issues. Personally I had one issue, however I didn’t inform the old management because I saw how they treated my friends who had bigger issues. The new management arrived and I did report the issue and it was solved. Here are some pros and cons of living here: Pros: -Amazing staff, interactive with residents. They even had resident’s week which involved having food trucks where you could purchase food for a discounted price, Amazon gift card rewards, etc. They are also quick at solving problems whether it be a noise complaint or a maintenance issue. -Neighborhood is tucked away from the surrounding areas - Modern appliances and aesthetic -The apartments are spacious - 30 mins from DC -20 mins from Alexandria - Military friendly. If you are in the military, 10 mins away from JBA -30 mins away from Silver Spring/College park area without traffic, with traffic approximately 40 mins - Restaurants such as Via Roma is literally a 3 min drive - Great neighborhood for those who like to cycle/run - The metro station is next door - The apartment is safe for your car. One night I accidentally left my driver side window down and thankfully nothing was stolen. Cons - Surrounding area is not the best - Walls are thin, if you have a noisy neighbor, that might be a problem - If you don’t like hearing the train and your apartment is facing the train station, you probably wouldn’t like that. Personally I love hearing the train as it reminds me of NY - The drivers tend to speed around corners in garage, so you have to be careful when turning corners. They do have mirrors, but it’s best to drive slowly around the corners.
I recently moved to the Allure Apollo in May 2021. The staff is friendly, responsive and helpful. The addition of the Concierge completed the puzzle. They go out of there way to make sure that you fill right at home. The common areas of the Apollo are well maintained and modern. My unit is spacious and comfy with the mixture of carpet and wood. The appliances are modern, and I absolutely love the spacious granite countertop. This facility is filled with hidden gems....courtyards, Zen area, resort style pool, doggy park, etc. Thank You Apollo Team! Danielle Mathis

I've never lived in the same apartment for more than a year, but this is the first time that I'll ever be renewing a lease. The amenities, including the pool/pool bar, gym, theater room, dog spa, and lounge areas are absolutely amazing. The staff has been nothing but kind, efficient, and extremely helpful. I'm in and out whenever I have a question, need a package, or a parking pass. The location is simply the icing on the cake. Allure Apollo is situated in a quiet, but vibrant neighborhood with tons of new shops and is only steps away from Branch Avenue Metro Station. Allure Apollo is also right off of the beltway and within 5 minutes of plenty of shopping centers, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. I definitely recommend!

I’ve been living here for almost 2 years now and I enjoy the property and location. I haven’t had any major issue since living here. Maintenance is very responsive if you do. The complex is under management but they also seem to be great in the up-keeping of the property. They have also built up around so there are locals places walking distance to find food etc.,

I have been in the building for a year and a half. The apartment is beautiful, appliances are new and run well, temperature control is excellent, plenty of hot water, and I love my balcony. It’s usually pretty quiet and has felt very safe. The Metro station Is right next door and makes travel extremely convenient. It’s about a 40 minute Metro ride to most places in the city. The only problem I have had with the building was moving in and receiving furniture deliveries. There is not a freight elevator or dedicated area for unloading. To get my couch in, we had to rent a van, then load it from the delivery truck to the van, so that we could drive the van through the parking garage to my floor. Then we carried it from the van down the hall. The regular elevators weren’t tall enough for the couch.
